MY LUMIA 800 IS DEAD. PLEASE HELP!

I have a lumia 800 , 10 months old. I had been listening to music suddenly it started to flicker and suddenly stopped an switched off. i tried to restart it but it not working. I tried many key combinations ,for 10 hours since it died. there was 98% charge left when it died. When plugged to charger nothing shows up, even i tried charging from my laptop.
I read many cases similar to mine. Phone still under warranty period, will i get it repaired or replaced as it is an internal damage.
Another problem is I live in India. Im not sure that i'll get my phone repaired or replaced for free.

If your phone is under warranty and there are no signs of liquid or accidental damage then Nokia should repair it at no extra cost to you.

Nokia Lumia 800 completely dead

A few days ago my Nokia Lumia completely died on me. The battery wasnt low or anything, it just switched off and refuses to come back on. There is no light or vibrations.
Ive left it on charge and the phone heats up but theres no life!
Ive tried all the key combinations and none works.
I cannot take the phone back as its pass the warranty/guarantee time, so would have to get it fixed...anyone know of a good cellphone repair place in the West Rand, Johannesburg, South Africa - that knows how to fix Lumia's...
Ive been a customer of Nokia since my first 3310 and never have i had such a problem...I'm so dissappointed....Ive lost all my contacts, data and pictures

Lumia 800 IS restarting continously | HELP ME

Can anyone help me in this.
My cell(lumia 800) is restarting continuously until the battery is completely drained out.
It will turn on and displays NOKIA and after that it is supposed to display Microsoft Phone buts it’s not booting up till there.
IS there any problem with the OS or with the primary memory (i guess memory where OS is stored)
the device is from other country and i will not get warranty in INDIA, when I checked with NOKIA CARE ,as per them it cannot be resolved it seems.
Somebody please help me.

This has been happening to mine lately, but thankfully after three or four reboot cycles it seems to boot OK.
I can't be sure, but it appears to me to be something to do with either bluetooth or wifi when this happens. It never happens when both are switched off. I'm wondering if it is trying to make a connection over BT or wifi too early in the boot process and this is causing a crash.
Do you have any active bluetooth or wifi hotspots nearby? If so try turning them off or move the phone out of range. As I said it may not be this but you sound desparate and it's worth a try...

My Lumia 720 doesnt respond Please help.

From few days I have experiencing this on my lumia - whenever i travel by any means of transport if its more than 40 - 50 minutes, my lumia doesnt unlock (while pressing the power key - nothing happens) the screen also doesnt wake up. But if I press Camera key it vibrates even takes photographs withour flash. After a lot of try it wakes up - but if it still fails I have to connect the charger to wake it up. PLEASE HELP ME OUT WITH THIS ASAP PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE !!!!! Its been just 2 months I have been using this.

If your phone is unresponsive, or it gets stuck showing Nokia logo, then try this: Press and hold both the Volume down and the Power keys for 15 seconds. This should get your phone to restart properly again. If this does not help, then follow next steps to perform OS reset.

All your personal content in the phone, including text messages and apps that you been purchased and downloaded (may be re-downloaded again) will be erased, and the phone will be restore to the factory settings.Here are two options to follow, depending on whether you can access your phone's settings screen or not.
Option 1: About menu
Use this option if you can access your phone's settings.
This option warns about data loss.
On the Start screen, swipe left, select Settings > About > Reset your phone.
Option 2: Hardware key combination
Use this option if you forget or lose the password.
Use this option if the phone fails to fully switch on when pressing the power on key.
Note: No warning about data loss!

Dark Knight Rises Lumia 800 - lost content, please...

Hi guys, I was wondering if any one could help me out.
I've got a Nokia Lumia 800 Dark Knight Rises edition device and had to reset it. This meant that I lost all of the exclusive ringtones, videos, wallpapers and downloadable content that was present with the device, and in the settings and about phone section it lists the phone as a standard Nokia Lumia 800, as opposed to a DKR edition one.
I thought that these extras would be baked into the ROM, so I didn't think that a full reset would wipe any of it.
Is there any chance at all that I could get this stuff back, either through flashing a Dark Knight Rises ROM onto the device, or if anyone can share the content with me on here, that would be great.
I know it's a long shot but I thought I'd ask any way.

As this is a movie promotion "The Dark Knight Rises" will appear in Windows Marketplace > Nokia Collection in your region in due course. In the USA & UK it was released for the Lumia 900 last week and is now available upon 800 and 710 in UK at time of this post being tied to release of film as you can see upon this screenshot:
AFAIK this will replicate the material that was pre-loaded upon your device.

My Pearl is dead : Please Help

Hi,
Last week , my pearl (8100)started behaving abnormally. It reboots by itself , red light blinks and shows hour glass for a minute or two and then reboots again.
I have shown to a local cellphone repair dealer , who tried flushing the software and reloading...Nothing worked..he said it might have developed some hardware problem.
But ,Now condition has deteriorated and when I plug it to power to charge the battery, it is not charging and no red light blinking....no rebooting...it seems completely dead.....

Nokia Lumia 520, Several frustrations please help.

Just brought a Nokia Lumia 520, seemed like a good choice some cpu/gpu/ram as the 720, bigger screen than the 620, would have got the 620 if it was a 4" screen.
I use a smartphone for these reasons.

Internet Explorer doesn't display a large number of pages correctly.
When a website has a menu (links) to swipe through instead of swiping to the next one it both swipes and opens the link, every time. m.IMDB.com for example.

The volume button on the 520 seems very cheap, it's just a loose bit of plastic on the case it's self, is this normal?
I'm currently a premium member of Spotify, the Windows Phone Spotify app forgets when settings are changed, when I try to stream in high quality it always goes back to normal (which sounds pretty bad). There's also no "extreme" quality option.
Xbox Music Pass, this just seems like a really poorly made app, I've signed up for the premium streaming (as a Spotify alternative). But to get to it I need to click on store\then music, type in the artist I want, and once the music starts, i need to constantly click the "..." button the "more in store" button to change songs within the album, the list it's self doesn't even show you which song is playing, you need press the "<-" button to see the title. And on top of all that instead of the nice clean background there's a picture of the artist, but the picture is stretched and blurred and looks horrible, very off putting.
Also is the a way of seeing the "status bar" type info without pressing the volume button?
Please help me, I'm tempted to go back to Android but really don't want too.

If you hold the back button down without letting it go then all screens that have been left open can be scrolled across screen 1 tap on desired screen opens it as start screen. Same with internet explorer hit the .......... At bottom of screen select tabs and it puts every page visited as a small tile with a. X in corner they can be closed in seconds in the one screen without ever hitting the back button. Hope this is helpful.

80g Classic nearly dead please help

I've got a 80g classic ipod that is flashing with the apple logo. It was working fine up till yesterday but since downloading a new album and trying to sync its not now. My computer doesnt even detect the device is there now. I initially tried restoring it but it went into the flashing apple logo ststus after about 10 mins. I've had it just over a year so is now out of warrenty
My iphone is working fine with itunes just the classic has nearly died. Please help!!

My ibook is "sort-of" dead" please help.

after installing a third-party application, my computer started acting up, Parts of the picture would stop and just go black...things just got worse; Now the computer does turn on, but I dont hear the start up noise, all I hear is the fan running and the CD-Rom running as well. No picture. Im not sure if its a virus, or something worse. Ive tried resetting the pram and the pmu, I tried to boot up from the cd-rom ( which is now stuck in there ) Please help.

After leaving my ipod hooked up to my computer for most of the day yesterday and resetting it a couple times, it actually turned on and started working. But the battery died almost immediately, so I am guessing it is the battery ... maybe?
Any thoughts on how to go about getting a new battery? I am not great with technology and don't even see how to open the ipod so that the battery can be replaced.

Logic Midi Note Dead, Please Help!!!

I am mixing some cues for a indi production. Today I merged two midi regions (region1, and region 2). However the last note of region one now won't play correctly. I need it to be a held not but no matter what I do I only get like a eigth beat staccato note and then silence. This only happens on any notes placed in that particular beat of that particular measure. No matter what not it is I ge the same effect. I've gone through my event list to see if any controllers are affecting it but none seem to be active on that beat. Please help. I really need that note to hold the entire beat.
P.S. I'm on logic pro 9

I've already checked for multiple notes, nada. I can get no sound on the beat, just not a long sound.
It looks right on the piano roll editor. Thats the problem. I can't use the piano roll to adjust the time of the note. I'm writing a song in the piano roll using the esX24 as my synthesizer. So its a pretty basic bare bones set up. I've tried copying other notes to that beat, no results either. Anynot I put on that partical beat, no matter what i is, will only play a short staccato.
Is there any sort of catche for midi data that might have recorded an error?

Hello, i need help pronto! my iBook G4, i always thought it was the best computer ever, i've had Mac for several years now and they always work just fine, but the other day i left my iBook sleeping while it charge the battery and when i came back i tried to turn it on and i notice that the computer was off not sleeping, i wierd smell was comming out of the left down corner of the computer and the computer dont work at all, and the battery never charged! i think that the problem is the power supply, but i can be wrong! im clueless and i really mis my laptop! PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!

Alright take a deep breath everything is going to be fine. First off what kind of smell? I have noticed over the years that all Macs, when they get hot have a scent. When you try to turn your computer on any vital signs? Sounds? Lights? Anything? You might want to take your computer to your local Apple Store to get an evaluation from a Mac Genius. Respond with specifics about everything, you get better responces. I wouldn't be surprised if you fried it. Maybe surge, but its hard to tell.

actually this is the first time i use this forum,I was living in lebanon and was using the lebanon store on itunes. when I moved to qatar I kept lebanon store and the same billing information but this time I registered the qatari bank Visa card instead of the lebanese one since I closed my bank account in lebanon and the qatari bank visa card was working fine untill this december it expired when I was doing a purchase, I renewed the card and tried to enter the new expiry date in the apple account but it gives an error that "the payment card you entered is not valid in lebanon" although it is the same card which was working before.the only difference is the bank generated a new expiry date.Aslo when I tried to change the location to qatar, I recieved another error which tells that " a purchase was opened and can not be closed" so I have to close this payment before I change the location and use the card.In this case what should I do? I am stuck, unable to do any application update.

My Mac Pro is completely dead, please help

Hello guys, I got this one: Apple Mac Pro "Eight Core" 3.0 (2,1) from 2008 (I think) and he is completely dead, I mean not a single beep, fan doesnt spin, just complete silence
I tried remove everything and nothing helps so I suspect power supply (or maybe motherboard?,) so what I can do now? I dont have any other mac, so can I use power supply from PC? local apple service told me, they cant do anything, because its old model (they dont have parts)
