What kind of issues do you have that you want to start Firefox in Safe Mode?
Can't you start Firefox at all?
It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

My mac book restarted itself and now its back to the default settings. All my info is gone. What happened and how do I fix it?

If all your files are missing
You may have logged in as a different user, such as Guest. Open the Users & Groups pane in System Preferences. Your name should be at the top of the user list, under Current User. See also this support article.
If files are missing from one folder
Change the Finder view mode; for example, from icon view to list view, or vice versa.
If files are present, but seem outdated
You may have started up from a different volume (disk.) Open the Startup Disk preference pane and check the selection.

I'm a portuguese living in Cleveland and i want to buy a mac book air, but with a portuguese keyboard. I tried to buy it online, but there wasn't no option for a portuguese keyboard. I have a friend that contacted with the store in advance and they trade the keyboard when he bought it. But i don't know how i can contact directly the store where i want to buy it, or if i can do it somehow online. I ask this because the store is a little far away from my house, and i really prefer buying it online...

Can I upgrade my iMac (10.6.8) with the prepackaged Lion on my new Mac Book Air?

In August I bought a new Mac Book Air prepackaged with Lion OSX.
At home I have an iMac running Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
Since I purchased a copy of Lion prepackaged with the Mac Book Air, is there some way I can use my Mac Book Air copy of Lion to upgrade my iMac?
Or do I need to purchase a copy of Lion specially for the iMac?
I live in Japan, so it's hard to get clear English advice sometimes!

You need to buy a copy for your iMac. The version that comes with your MBA cannot be transferred.

I understand you are unable to install the printer on Maverick.
I will be happy to help you.

Make sure when you add the printer it shows the printer's name and not Airprint.
(you might have to click the dropdown to select the printer's name)

if i want to buy an mac book air (13inch) with an i7 processor, will they have it in store or will they have to order it?

I got my MacBook Air with 8GB RAM (custom) through the online store, but after waiting a couple of days for shipping, I asked at the local Apple Store and learned they did have it in stock.
So I believe popular custom models are occasionally available at the Apple Store, and recommend you phone your local store and ask.
Having said that, I think you have a very low chance of success in your specific case because the i7 Air shows a 1 - 3 day shipping time even from the online store.

Power off the router. Unplug it from the wall. Wait for few minuets.
Power off the router. Wait a while.
Connect the router back to to the wall.
Power the router back on. Wait until all lights are lit properly. It will take a while.
Restart the computer.
Start up in Safe Mode.

Have exactly the same problem with my wife's MacBook Air. After restaring in Restore mode and trying to repair the disk (Disk Utility showed errors in the verification), the system tells me to backup as much data as possible (how?), re-format the disk and restore backed-up files. Error comes up when "updating boot support partitions for the volume as required".
Original restart action was done due to software update requesting it, if I remember correctly, iTunes was updated.
I don't want to start a painful back-up procedure (although I do regular back-ups): how should I know, where iPhoto stores it's data or where my mails are (yes, still using local mail)? How can I access the data if I can't boot?
My iMac's disk crashed also a couple of months ago and I'm still recovering. I have four Apple devices, two of them have failed. Can Apple afford such a ratio?
