My mac book pro 15 inch won't stop freezing when I play StarCraft2
Whenever I play SC2 it freezes very often, last summer when I played it wasn't like this. Sometimes I have one window open in Chrome and I bleive this may be this issue but that shouldn't cuase this. I also have always listened to the internet radio through itunes while playing. Here's what it just gave me in the problem report.

Now my macbook always shuts off randomly while doing anything such as watching a movie on qucktime, searching the web, or very often when I click the spotlight to search something, such as a word in the dictionary. That is probably a lot of stuff you do not want on your iPhone. So this can be handled a few different was. For you current situation, you can delete the apps directly on your iPhone by holding on the app until it starts to jiggle and then tap on the X of all the apps that you do not want. The second thing you can do is before you sync with iTunes, look at the app section on your iPhone to know what gets transfer to it and you can deselect items that you do not want. Lastly, if you download content on your iPad and it is a universal app, you can actually download it directly to your iPhone by looking at your past purchases and download it directly from the App Store. Mac book pro (late 2013) has a lag when sculpting and rotating models in Zbrush, but only when using my Wacom-capture tablet (if I use a mouse or trackpad its fine no lag).
Also Premiere Pro CS5 playback is almost like watching footage in slow motion, Premiere Pro is installed on the main drive but the footage is on an external drive connected with USB 2.
I'm wondering if it is just a problem with the Mac USB drivers maybe not supporting USB 2 ? (Because I have also installed Window 7 on this same MacBookPro and tested the same software "Zbrush and Premiere Pro" And they both work perfectly on the Bootcamp Windows 7 install, and so its using the same hardware so it has to be the drivers right ?)

I have accidently shut down my Mac Book Pro during windows 7 installation . When I re started it it began to say " Press any key to boot from CD or DVD " but the keyboard is not working . So I cannot boot It and the CD is also in the drive . Please help me to boot back to Mac book Pro and give me a way to start the key bord .

If Windows doesn’t install properly
Verify that you’re using an original, full version of the 64-bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Ultimate, Windows 8, or Windows 8 Pro.
Restart your Mac and hold down the Option key until one or more disk icons appear on your screen. Insert the Windows installation disc into the optical drive or insert the USB flash drive with Windows into a USB port on your Mac. Select the Windows installation disk icon, then click the arrow beneath it. Quickly press any key on your keyboard to start the installer. Follow the onscreen instructions to repair or reinstall Windows.

That is a really great question! It took some digging to find the answer!
On an older Mac, about 2010 or older, you need access to one of:
• The Mac App Store ( such as on a Mac with a working 10.6.8 or better)
• working Recovery HD
• a bootable 10.7 Installer, on thumb drive, Hard drive, or DVD
So for ONE 2010 or older Mac with a bad drive, you would have to buy the US$70 Apple thumb drive, or have previously made a DVD or Hard Drive when you previously downloaded 10.7. Or you re-install 10.6.8 then overwrite it with the downloaded 10.7.
• another Mac with 10.7 installed so you could transfer Recovery HD to the down Mac with "Lion Recovery Disk Assistant"
OS X Lion: About Lion Recovery Disk Assistant
On some 2010 and most 2011 models, if Recovery HD is messed up or not Installed, but you have a working Broadband connection [with DHCP enabled], the Firmware has been upgraded so it will boot from the Internet and do the whole job using "Lion Internet Recovery" as described in the second section of this glossy article:

Mac Book Pro Charger won't charge
Just yesterday my Mac Book Pro "L" 85W Magsafe Charger would not charge my laptop. Eventually I tried using my sisters Charger, a 60W "T" Magsafe charger. It seemed to charge for a day, but today that charger has died as well. I can't understand why these chargers are dieing suddenly, whats happening and what can I do?
The Apple power adapter includes circuitry that cause the adapter to shut down for various reasons: over-temp, over-voltage, over-current. The adapter can be reset by unplugging it from the computer, unplugging it from the wall, waiting 30 seconds, plugging the AC input adapter cord into the wall and, finally, plugging the DC output adapter cord into your computer.

Mac Book Pro Wifi Data Locked up/freezes.
Hello, i have had this problem now for about 3 months. I have tried to search for the issue but i may be missing some key terms so if this is a known topic or somone can provide a link to a solution i would love it.
So i primarly use my MBP on wifi in the home, i have an ipad on wifi, pc laptop on wifi and a hardwired TV. Sometimes while on the computer all of a sudden i will stop getting data from the internet, usualy i notice because a webpage loads about half way or does not load at all then i get the thinking wheel in the web browser. If i turn off the wifi card, wait about 15 seconds then turn it back on it always comes right back on and away i go.
For some details It is a Mac Book Pro 8,2 16gig ram, OS10.6.8 all security and software is up to date. I recently put a new hard drive in the machine and use the migration assistant to transfer everything across from the old one but with a fresh install of the OS. The problem existed before and after the HDD swap. I use Chrome as the primary browser, but it is not application spesfic, mail and safari both loose the network data as well. I do not have a lot of large downloads, 90% of my network use is e-mail, and web no bit torrents or streaming on this computer. Finaly to see if it was the router while the laptop is locked up the other devices on wifi and hard lined all still work fine. Also according to the laptop i still have 100% wireless strength and connection, i dont have any other wifi networks so i can not try to switch to another one, the only fix i have found is to click "turn airport off" wait a second, then back on. Also time does not seem to be a part of it, i can have the machine running all day for several days no issues, then it goes down, or i just open it up and in an hr it locks.
To me i hate to hear that it is a bad network card in the computer, but if anyone knows if there is maybe a setting or somthing i can reset on the network card that may be setting me up on a "timed lease" of my ip address, thanks for the help.Welcome to Apple Discussions
Boot from your original install DVD and run Repair Disc and Repair Permissions, this might then allow you to Boot as normal and have all your data intact.
If not then you need to re-install the OS from that same DVD but select 'Archive Install' and it will preserve your User data and Applications. -

Why my mac book pro is so slow with internet when my PC is going so fast?
Hi, I recently bought a mac book pro, with OS Maverick, 8gb RAM, I core7. I'm using WIFI and it's running so slow to connect to hotmail, or send an email. It's happening the same with an easy search in google. It's like the mac is thinking.

My Mac Book Pro is stuck on gray screen when booting up
When booting up on my Mac Book Pro side it gets stuck on a gray screen and wont boot even when in safe mode. I have cleared the P/Ram and still have acces to the partioned windows side on the same computer. How should I procede to get my Mac OS running again.

Mac Book Pro - Mouse and Track Pad Freeze
I left my mac book pro asleep for a few hours, everything had been working fine. When I returned it would not wake up so I restarted it.
It makes the chime and comes to the password page as per normal. Then I cannot move the mouse and the keyboard does not work. Also impossible to select Caps lock (light does not come on)
Things I have tried:
PRAM
Safe Start Up Mode
Attaching external keyboard and mouse
Restarting holding down ctrl, apple and power key
No luck with any of the above.
Any ideas.
Thanks in advance!It's not completely clear if you are using an external USB mouse. Some people use the term "mouse" for the clicker bar so I want to make sure I understand how you are set up instead of guessing.
If you are not using an external mouse, remove the battery and inspect it for bulging or other deformation. That can put upward pressure on the underside of the trackpad assembly and take it down, often taking the built-in keyboard with it. -

If you find a process using a large amount of CPU time (>=70,) then select the process and click on the Quit icon in the toolbar. Click on the Force Quit button to kill the process. See if that helps. Be sure to note the name of the runaway process so you can track down the cause of the problem.

Native sql DBCO, CONNECT statement short dump
