Hello Terrychelle,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!
If the issue is to do with Safari, then you may need to reset it.

Hi I have only 2 days in USA to buy Mac Book Pro 13" with Retina display. The issue here is that I'd like to get the westerns spanish keyboard and at the apple store the guy said it will take 6 days. I was wondering if I do the purchase within the express checkout, Will I be able to get the laptop before leaving NY on the 7th of May 2014?
I do not have any experience with the express checkout, actually I do know how it works, any advice please?
Thanks!!!!Call the store on the telephne and ask. However, I doubt it since a store would not normally have an item with non-USA features
Also, this is the Mac Pro desktop forum. I requested your post be moved to the MacBook Pro laptop forum -
Mac Book Pro Retina 2012 Battery Issue
guys i wanted to ask about the mac book pro retina 2012 battery issue
is it best to leave the laptop plug in charging all the time or let the laptop battery to have a full cycle all the time?
my usage is mainly autocad and photoshop.
i also have window 7 install on boot camp to play battlefield 3
my mac book aged 12 weeks adn the battery loadcycles is 78
Battery Capacity : 8259mAh
Design Capacity : 8460mAh
i also read on apple support saying it's advicable not to leave the laptop charge in. i ask on some forum some plug in all the time some perform full cycle.
so which is the best procedure ( plug in all the time / perform full cycle ) so that the battery can last for 5 years.Edmund CWH wrote:
so what you're saying is for heavy usage plug in the charger
for light usage like web browsing, listneing songs, check mail, etc use battery right?
You're right
what's the best ideal to drain the battery ( use the battery until how many percentage ) 5% or 20% then charge it.
in malaysia the reseller says 5%. but some says 20%
I recommend to charge it at 20% and use all the battery until your Mac shuts down at least once a month. With this, you'll have a healthy battery -
Hi guys. Just a quick question. My wife has a Mac Book Pro and when she is browsing the web she can use a two fingered gesture to go back to her previous page (by swiping from right to left). Is there any way to set that up on my iPad Mini. Many thanks.
Not in the Safari browser she can't. That is not supported on the iPad. There are other mobile browsers that do have that functionality - one is iCab Mobile.

My Mac book pro won't charge. But the connector is plugged in and shows that its charging but it says it has 0% but if I unplug it it will shut off. It's been like this all day but I didn't notice till I turned it on.
It's either a power adapter issue (not likely) or (more likely) a power supply problem on your MBP. Take the machine into your local Apple Store or an AASP and have them diagnose the problem.
Good luck,

Hello,
Please help to find my stolen mac book pro - 15 inch,
I have only the serial number of it but Unfortunately I did not have iCloud on it, all my data and researches are there,
The Operating System is mac but I don't remember which version (I think it is the latest because it is updated), also windows & VMWare are installed
WHo can help, please contact me...
HudaAs Chris indicated, there is no way to track your MacBook without having set up the Find My Mac feature beforehand (and even if you did, it's quite easily defeated) or having some third-party tracking software installed. All you can do is file a report with the police and hope they get lucky. I can only hope that you made backups of your data and "researches", since I agree with Chris that your chances of ever getting the MacBook back are not good.
You posted in the iTunes for Windows forum, by the way; just so you're aware for future questions.

Upgrading to Snow Leopard, Lion, or Mountain Lion
Upgrading to Snow Leopard
You can purchase Snow Leopard by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service - this includes international calling numbers. The price is $19.99 plus tax. You will receive physical media - DVD - by mail.
Third-party sources for Snow Leopard are:

After you install Snow Leopard you will have to download and install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 to update Snow Leopard to 10.6.8 and give you access to the App Store.
Before upgrading check that you computer meets the minimum requirements:
Snow Leopard General requirements
1. Mac computer with an Intel processor
2. 1GB of memory
3. 5GB of available disk space
4. DVD drive for installation
5. Some features require a compatible Internet service provider; fees may

Upgrading to Lion
First, you need to upgrade to Snow Leopard 10.6.8 as stated above.
You can purchase Lion by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service - this includes international calling numbers. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax. It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.

I am trying to install a program on my Mac Book Pro Retina from a Apple SuperDrive. Every time I run the installer, it says I do not have enough memory to install. However, I definitely have enough memory (186.74 GB). The program takes only 550 MB. Any ideas why?
Thanks for the clarification on the terms. I consider myself proficent at my computer, but not exactly in its inner-workings! I have 8 GB of memory installed.
I am still confused as to why I do not have any space for the program. This is the exact error message I get: "There is not enough free space on Macintosh HD disk. The Print Shop 2 application requires about 550 MB to be installed. Free some disk space and try again."
Thank you again for your help. -

I need help to delete my icloud account from my iPad. It has "Find my iPad" on it and won't let me delete without the old password. I don't want to reset password as it will require reset of Mac Book Pro and 2 iphones. Help appreciated.
Your description of the problem is a bit confusing. Do you have ONLY ONE Apple ID or do you have MORE THAN ONE? -
I have mid 2009 Mac Book Pro running 10.9.1. The hdmi mini port no longer supports sound on the Sony TV. This is apparently a change. It no longer shows as an option in system preferences/sound.Any ideas?
The 2009's didn't support sound on HDMI. That came in 2010. Are you sure it ever worked?

Can I interrupt a migration from Mac Book Pro to Imac and what are the consequences
can I interrupt a migration from Mac Book Pro to iMac and what are the consequences
Les:
Here are some options:
• You could copy the data file to your laptop, work on it, and update the file on the iMac when you are back.
• You can use an application like Log Me In to access your home computer from your laptop.
• You can use DropBox. Install it on both computers, place your data file in a folder on the iMac, access it and work on it on your laptop and it will be automatically updated on your computer at home, even if it is not turned on, as soon as it is connected to the internet.
Please do post back with further questions or comments.
