My mac book says that i do not have a battery
My mac book says i do not have a battery, and i haven't touch the bottom of my computer!!! I dont know what to do, but i cant unplug my imac because if i do it will shut off!!!

if it has a black cross on the batt then its goosed. call apple if its less than 1year old and they will replace it. if it has a red cross then its just confused, reset the power chip by shuting down, take the batt out of the macbook and hold the power button for 5-10 seconds, put the batt back in and boot up it should then charge up

How do I find installer? When I try to install downloads, the box says that I do not have the Installer I need.
If it's updates through the Office auto-updater that are having problems, that's probably an issue you'll need to take up on Microsoft's support site. If you're having problems installing Office from scratch and it's saying it can't find Installer, you may need to repair your hard drive. Since installing 10.7.3 my downloads say that I do not have enough space on my computer for the download. These downloads are never more that 200 megs or so and I have 270 gigs left on my hard drive. Somehow the remaining space on my hard drive is not being correctly read. What can I do to fix this? I have run permissions repair several times, but to no avail.
Th downloads do not finish. I am dowloading to a file on my desktop called MUSIC, but it first starts to download to my desktop and then I move it to the MUSIC file also on my desktop and I have been doing this without incident using 10.7.2 as well as 10.7.1 and 10.7.

It sounds like there are permissions issues with iTunes. When you sync it may be trying to copy purchased items from your iPhone to your iTunes. Check out the article below to try and resolve it.

I just purchased an iTunes TV show and it successfully downloaded. It is now saying that I do not have the proper version of QuickTime on this version of iTunes (10.6.3).
How can a show I purchased be incompatible with the latest version of iTunes?
I want a refund, but I can't even figure out how to request one through support. You can try to repair the permissions for the Firefox application files and folders.
You can also do this:
Download a new copy of the Firefox program: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html
Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean reinstall.
Install the new version that you have downloaded.

I have a mac book pro that both USB ports have stopped working one about a year ago and one recently. Is it possible to connect to another one of the other MBP's ports with a cord that ends with a USB port?

I went by the Apple Store and they told me that there was a "Flat Rate" repair service for this particular part where they would replace the logic board along with the USB ports for $350. Seems like best avenue. All of this would have been moot but my wifi in the computer also doesn't work so I was using my phone as a hot spot and tethering it to the computer for Internet access when the last port quit. This left me with no internet and no printing capabilities on the computer I use for my business. Basically became a nice paperweight. lol
They will ship it off Monday and I should have it back Thursday!
