My Mac has only got 5.6.1 Airport loaded on it. Just bought AirPort Extreme and says need to have at least 6.1 or newer. Computer wont let me download 6.1 says its not compatible. Dose this mean i need to buy a new computer to use it?

AirPort Utility on the App Store on iTunes
On the iPhone home screen, tap Settings (gear icon)
Tap WiFi
Look for the heading of Setup a New AirPort Base Station
Tap on AirPort Extreme

You need to login to the account for which you purchased the music with. First log out of that account (iTunes store, top right hand corner email, click the tiny arrow on that, sign out). Then sign in with the one you purchased the music with (iTunes store, top right, click on sign in). Then go up to the store menu in iTunes and click it. Click authorize account. That should fix it. Using your husbands account will not work unless that account purchased the music. It is apple's way of dealing with piracy

I've tried two fixes:
1. Went to Firefox Profiles at AppData >Roaming > Mozilla> Firefox > Profiles > Default Profile > Extensions and look for the directory where the Google Toolbar is installed. Mine is located at {3112ca9c-de6d-4884-a869-9855de68056c} directory.
Changed the maxversion to 10. Find this line <em:maxVersion>4.0.*</em:maxVersion> to <em:maxVersion>10.*</em:maxVersion>\
2. Went to Lib dircotry and opened up the file toolbar.js with a text editior and replaced all www.google.com/accounts WITH: accounts.google.comYou can turn off compatibility checking, but more and more of the Google Toolbar will not work. Google is no longer supporting the Google Toolbar so you should use the alternatives.

I had a similar issue with Photoshop when I upgraded to both Snow Leopard and Lion. it turned out to be Rosetta is no longer present in the newer OS. Once I upgraded to Lion, Appleworks stopped working after all these years. -

I have downloaded Skype from its main website for MAC, but still it says " can't open Skype. not supported on this Architecture" when i click on it. I don't know why it wont. This isn't an old Desktop Mac computer, and Skype downloaded with no problems on my Mac Lap top. So what's wrong this time?

How did you install Acrobat, did you install it as a part of Suite installation.
If it is a part of suite then deactivate suite uninstall Acrobat, Reinstall Acrobat using Suite media. Launch Photoshop first and Activate.
Then try launch Acrobat.

I've just installed Mavericks on my Macbook Pro, which took forever to install, and everything appears to be fine except for iPhoto. When I try and open iPhoto I get a popup saying its not supported by this OS. Anyone have any ideas??? Help please.

I installed a new printer and now Photoshop Elements tells me I can't print. The error message is "The saved printer information is not compatible with this version of Photoshop Elements, or the saved printer is no longer available. If your password is incorrect, perform a "soft reset": momentarily depress its reset button, and launch AirPort Utility. A "soft reset" will lower the Extreme's shields for about five minutes, so that you can configure it with a new password.

I just bought a MBA and I need to move my photos and itunes to an external hard drive (from my old MacBook Pro) because they won't fit on the Air. I got the photos moved fine and I followed an online tutorial to move the necessary files for itunes, but it didn't work. The files copied fine, but when I tell iTunes on the Air to look at the external drive for the library, it doesn't find anything. What I copied was the entire iTunes Media folder. So, how do I move the necessary iTunes files from my old Pro to a external drive so I can access them from my new Air? Whew!
