You can use Apple Hardware Test to help determine if there is a problem with your computer’s hardware.
To use Apple Hardware Test:
Disconnect all external devices from your computer except the keyboard and mouse. If you have an Ethernet cable connected, disconnect it.
Insert the “Additional Software & Apple Hardware Test” disc that came with your computer.
Restart your computer and hold down the “C” key as it starts up. A list of available startup volumes appears. Click Apple Hardware Test and click the right arrow.
When the Apple Hardware Test main screen appears after about 45 seconds, follow the onscreen instructions.
If Apple Hardware Test detects a problem, it displays an error code. Make a note of the error code before pursuing support options. If Apple Hardware Test does not detect a hardware failure, the problem may be software related.

Mac Pro starts up and then shuts down, how do I fix this?
Recently when I start up my Mac Pro it start its process and then I see the Apple Logo and then the screen goes black and the monitor says I think something like no digital signal. I have to start up my Mac Pro a number of times before it finally stays open. Because I use to see a bright flash when the Mac Pro would start up or shut down, I thought that may be the problem had to do with my monitor but I'm not sure. I tried disk utilities and Tech Tools Pro 6 but nothing so far has helped the problem. I don't think its my harddrive since all test say its OK. Then I remembered some says something that computers have an internal battery and that they need to be replaced from time to time. I don't know if my Mac Pro has a battery but does anyone know if this would cause my problem?
There is a pram battery but I don't think that's the cause of your problem.
Have you blown all the accumulated dust out of your machine?
Try reseating the video card, maybe the ram too.
Run Apple Hardware Test (boot from your second installer DVD, push D down immediatly after the boot chime). -

I have enlarged icons on the log in screen and can not enter my login code. I have tried enough times that I am locked out and my iphone 5 has been disabled.How do I fix this??

The latest iTunes which is 10.7 does indeed require Mac OS X 10.6.8 or newer. What version of Mac OS X are you running and on what model Mac?

I am unable to add events to the calendar. The banner on the top of the calendar reads "no calendar" and the plus icon has dissapeared. How do I fix this?
Its likely there but he pop up page isn't resizing properly.
Try a reset: Simulaneously hold down the On and Home buttons until the iPad shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it should appear. When shut down is complete, turn the iPad back on. -

You make an appointment at the genius bar of your local Apple Store and get it serviced/replaced. You broke it. If you can't even force a reboot, there's nothing much more you can do.

Just updated my iPhone 5s from ios 8.1 to 8.3. After the install it asked for Apple ID and password and to allow it to sync to Mac and iTunes. After following the steps my phone kept restarting - turning on and off and goes blank. How do I fix this??
I have had about 9 iOS devices at work do this.
The fix and it will wipe out anything on your iphone is to connect it to your computer and have the latest version on iTunes open. Hold the Power/Sleep and Home button till it blanks out. Keep holding the home button untill it says recovery mode on the screen of the computer and do a restore. -
I got my iPad from my friend and he done a full restore before I got it, but know that I have put my iCloud account on here I have contacts and his too. How can I fix this problem? !!!!!
As I said in the other thread that you posted in the other forum, your friend clearly has not restored the iPad correctly. I suggest that you undertake another restore and start again.

Start PSE to get to the Welcome screen.
Hold down the Ctrl, Alt, and Shift keys and click Organize. Keep holding down the keys until you see the Catalog window.
Select your catalog and click Repair. Select “repair anyway” even if PSE doesn’t find problems.
Then for good measure, click Optimize.
If repairing resolves your issue then fine else repeat the above steps, but click New to create a new catalog. If you’re able to import photos into the new catalog and the Organizer works fine, then problem can be old catalog.
In that case you can try regenerating the thumbnails. Do Show All, Edit > Select All, and then Edit > Update Thumbnail.

My Macbook pro won't open downloaded programs, it just opens the code it was written in using the text and edit app. How can I fix this? I just bought the computer last month so this is some what frustrating.
If you are downloading .exe files, those are Windows programs, and will not run on your Mac unless you install Windows on it. (That is possible, if you need one of those apps.)
