I see 6 devices. I just brought my MM in to the Apple store for work . It is under apple care yet it doesnt appear in my devices so I cant schedulae a genius bar appt.

What does apear on the screen? You could start up in safe mode by holding down the shift key while starting up. You should then go to a login screen. Or you could hold down the R key, which should get you to the restore option. Then you could use the utilities to repair permissions and repair you boot volume.If you use the restore option, do not restore. go to the top and use the utilities option.

As above, how do I go about hidding the MAC Mini from appearing on the shared network which is able to seem by other? I had already disable the file sharing under the sharing? What I want to achieve is to totally prevent the MAC Mini from appearing on the shared network as the network I am connecting to is public network. Between I am runnning OS X.

As far as I'm aware of you can't without disabling a couple of things that'll also prevent any internet usage, since it's all tied together now.

Sorry, you can't extract those photos from the old device unless you restore the new phone from that backup.
You could of course use a third party software to extract those pics but it will cost you.
If you still have the old phone import those pics to your computer and then sync those photos to your new phone via itunes.

I can't get rid of somoto toolbar search and default homepage. Somoto doesnt appear in the list of searching and also not as installed software in my computer.

OK on my Mac Mini - nothing appears on iPad

Hello, I just started using Pages and uploaded to iWork. Easily accessed from my Mac Mini, but no documents appear in iPad or iPhone 4s. I get a dialog saying No Documents.....Any ideas please?

I already asked Apple to bring at least this kind of changes :
so that clicking one of the submenu items brought to the correct area.
But, this said, fruhulda was right : here we are in a forum dedicated to Pages for OSX.
Most of us don't use Pages for iOS so we are unaware of the behavior of Pages for iOS.
More, when we use only Pages for OSX, we have no reason to be aware of iCloud behavior because we don't use it.
As long as iWork for OSX will be unaware of iCloud, asking here would be wasting your and our time.

Why is my Internet connection hanging on both MacBook and Mac mini, but not PCs, Xbox, or iOS devices?

I have a MacBook pro and Mac mini both running the latest version of lion. I've had this issue with my MacBook for sometime now, but just dealt with it and figured it was isolated, but now I am finding its not.
Essentially, I will open up safari, or Chrome, and the first few pages will load fine. Sometimes I will get lucky and be able to browse normally, but after awhile, safari just hangs there and stops loading. I can close the window, and open a few more pages before it does it again. Both my mini and MacBook do this, but only on my home network. My MacBook runs perfectly fine on my work wi if, and other wi fis, so I definitely know its my home modem. If I wait it out I can surf the Internet again, but this dead time is absolutely killing me. It just randomly stalls, on both computers.
I current have time Warner cable roadrunner, with a cable modem gateway. The issue was happening on a straight connection. I had hoped getting a time capsule and connecting to that network would solve things, but it didn't. Interestingly enough, my Pcs, Xbox,and all 4 of my iPads and iPhones work just fine on the wifi, so there has to be a communication issues with the MacBook and mini with the cable router.
I've tried messing with lions network DNS servers and tried opendns ones, but those didn't work. Sometimes I can fix the problem for a few hours by power cycling the modem and router, but I shouldn't have to do that over and over every time it's an issue. I've also tried removing and adding the wi if connections, but that.works for a minute or two and then the problem resumes.
Now, I have my time capsule connected to the gateway, and tuned the time Warner modem wireless off, which didn't help of course, but at least I'm properly backed up.
I'm not sure what the issue is. I've even tried typing an ip address of apple during a dead time to see if that worked and didn't.
Does anyone have any other ideas? I'm pretty much at my wits end in this, any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Have you tried a simple reset of your iPod to see if that helps? To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
Otherwise, have you tried any of the troubleshooting mentioned in this Apple support document?

HT4061 iTunes will not open when my iPhone 4S is attached to my Mac Book Pro. iTunes will start up but as soon as my iPhone appears in the list of devices the program then quits and displays the message 'iTune Quit Unexpectedly'? Can anybody help?

The Problem/s
1. I am unable to sync my iPhone 4S with my Mac Book Pro, either by cable, wifi or bluetooth
2. iTunes will initiall open and briefly identifies the iPhone in the Device section in iTunes.
3. When iTunes starts to read the iPhone (displaying the spinning wheel), it immediately then quits and
4. Opens a 'dialogue box' which displays the message "iTunes Quit Unexpectedly"
5 The dialoge box offers the following button options to:-
'Show Details'
The 'Show Details' button will open and display a list of the 'Problem Details and System Configeration'. To the average user the information is useless, as one doesn't know what to look for to solve the problem. This is a long and detailed report (too long to include in this message), which includes information such as:-
Crashed Thread: 20
Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)
Exception Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x00000000000006f0
'OK'
The 'Ok' button simply quits and closes the dialogue box
'Reopen'
The 'Reopen' button will again reopen iTunes, briefly showing that it is trying to read the iPhone in the Devices section, but then returns again to display the same dialogue box.
Other Information
1. iTunes will still start normally once the USB cable is removed from the Mac book Pro, but crashes again once the USB cable is reattached to the computer
Any advice or help offered would be greatly appreciated.

How do I uninstall Premiere CS4 if it doesnt appear in my list of programs?

Premiere CS4 suddenley isnt showing up in the list of programs when I go to "Uninstall a Program" in vista 64bit. I cannot figure out any other way to uninstall the program. I have tried-reinstalling it but still no luck, I am asking because Media Encoder won't start right and so I am trying to uninstall everything THEN re-install.

My phone update didn't work. After trying to install the latest update, it downloaded the update and installed then said the computer needed to restart to finish; the computer restarted but now my iphone is not appearing in the list of devices in itunes.

You need to press the power button and the home button at the same time for a few seconds until your phone does a recovery. At least you will have a phone that works with all your contacts. But then you will have the same problem alot of other people are having since this update. You will lose all your music and apps. When you plug into ITunes it will have 2 options after that. Restore from back-up or set up like new. Back-up does nothing and restore to new you will lose everthing (music, Apps)). The only fix so far after your recovery is to plug your phone into another puter that has your ITunes account on it. It doesn't have to have any music or apps, just an account so you can sync your phone. After that plug your phone back into the puter with all your stuff on it and it will re-sync and add all your stuff...Hope this helps

I see my iPhone under Mobile Device as "Apple iPhone" as a camera, as said in the tip section. Which means that the Driver in installed. I tried to stop it and restart the driver but nothing changed. I unplugged my phone, took a screenshot and plugged it back as described but nothing...
