Adobe only sell the latest version of Creative Suite which is CS6 so you can't buy CS5 anymore. Upgrades are also only available from CS5 to CS6 so CS3 wouldn't qualify anyway.

If you have an Intel Mac, purchase Mac OS X 10.6 from the online Apple Store. If you have a G4 or G5 Mac, purchase Mac OS X 10.5 from a site such as Amazon. If you have a G3 Mac, you don't.
Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6 need to be purchased on a retail DVD. No downloads are available to the general public.

Your computer profile information is confusing. You say you are running Tiger yet your profile says your computer is running Lion which is three versions beyond Tiger. Which version are you running?
Get more information about your computer. Go to the Apple in the upper left corner of any window then "About This Mac", and tell us what it says for "version". Now continues to "More Info..." Copy and paste the information here, but omit the serial number and Hardware UUID (if present).
You can do any system upgrade yourself. The ease with which is can be done is more a matter of which version your really need. If you are indeed running Lion then upgrading to Mountain Lion can be done online for $20. If you are indeed running Tiger and are running an older computer that can only go to Leopard then you will have to do a lot of hunting for a copy of Leopard and be prepared to spend a lot of money buying it (maybe $100+?) -

A Cloud subscription SHOULD always show you the most recent updates, so you may then choose to do the install

Hi, i am so glad i found others that have older model laptops, i have a powerbood G4 DVI it has installed MAC OS9.1 and I would like to upgrade it, it came with nothing no manual, nothing so i am totally going it to this blind, i am not computer dumb, but on this i feel dumb!! I've had good luck running the Wamcom/Mozilla 1.3.1 browser on my ole' iMac that runs OS 9.1. It's dated and not in the league with Camino, Safari, or Firefox on OS X, but it does a decent job with older Macs on OS 9.
