My mac says , that the ichat av 2,1 can't be used on 10.4.4
having troubles to get the av connection started ,
i decided to go to a apple site and have a look at ichat development .
i found that there is ichat av 2,1 immediately downloaded it , but then i discovered that it's working just with OS 10.3 and not with the tiger, while sayng that is for sistems supperior to 10.3.

Not really sure what you're asking either but iChatAV 3.x is the only version of iChat that will work with Tiger. I've tried to get iChat AV 2.x working with Tiger due to some requests and can verify it's not possible.

I tried to Google a topic but when I clicked on the topic I wanted it posted a popup that said it had to update Firefox, followed immediately with a box that says it can't update firefox as it is running. These two boxes keep popping up as soon as you close the other one in one giant loop. I can only turn it off by shutting down the computer. I didn't have Firefox running when I tried to google the topic.
If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the disk image (dmg) file to the desktop

Safari keeps saying that the certificate for My Yahoo can't be trusted
Suddenly today when I try to sign in to "My Yahoo" I get the message that Safari doesn't trust the certificate. Is this a real problem or some glitch?
Quit Safari.
Open Keychain Access (Applications/Utilities)
Select: Certificates on the left. (not My Certificates)
Double click the Yahoo certificate.
Where you see Trust; click the gray disclosure triangle so it faces down.
Click the pop up menu to the right of: When using this certificate
Select: Always Trust
Quit Keychain Access. Relaunch Safari. Try logging in to Yahoo.
Also, go to System Preferences - Date & Time then select Date & Time.
Make sure: Set date and time automatically is selected. -

Just that. The iPad allocates a certain amount of power to that port. If the device you're trying to plug in wants more than the iPad is willing to give, it'll trigger that warning.
If it's something that you just must hook up you can try using a powered USB hub, but results are mixed at best.

My ipod displays an icon of a cable and the itunes logo but when plugged in, my mac says that it can not verify my device. I have a backup saved on my mac but it won't let me open it up or sync my ipod with my mac.

I am trying to attach an Ipod touch to an older Power Book G4.
Itunes says that the Ipod cannot be used because it needs Itunes version 9.2 (running 8.0.1).
When I try to install the latest Itunes version 10.3.1 Mac says ("Open failed" requires Mac OX S 10.5.Click here and install the software.

I'm trying to download the trial version of Adobe Illustrator. An error message says that the OS does not meet the minimum system requirements for the installer. 10.6.0 is the minimum required for installation. How do I get my mac to be a 10.6.0 ? Right now I have a 10.5.8 is there a way to upgrade or something?

That will take you to 10.6.3.
If required you can then use the combo updater to get to the latest version, 10.6.8 (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399)

Why does it say that the updated version of Firefox (which I am trying to download) is not compatible with my operating system when I have Mac OS X 10.5.8? I had an older version of Firefox and it said I needed to update it but that was the message that appeared.
Sorry, it's because Firefox 4+ are only compiled for the Intel processors.
There is a separate project for PPC Macs called Ten Four Fox. You might give it a spin when you're tired of 3.6.

Letter-Spacing is different if I open my file at another Mac of us (Value is at both mac 0, but the text is longor), and if I cklick into the text-box, Illustrator says that the file was made in an other Version of Illustrator. We have on all macs the same system, os 10.8.3, cs6 and UTC4. And of course we`re using exactly the same font....

I am attempting to open MPEG4 files on my Mac Book Pro and it is saying that the file cannot be opened because a codec is missing. I downloaded both QuickTime Player 7.6.6 and also QuickTime Player MPEG2 and neither one of them are helping with my problem.
