My mac space was full, and i noticed that i had 10,000 images, so i deleted all of my images and emptied the trash, now i they don't appear on iphoto or anywhere, is there anyway i could get all of those images back so i can then store them in a device?

yes, its the macbook air and mac OS X 10.7.4, not sure how that goes, about the time machine and time capsule, i only started using it today, when they were already deleted, also read at the support and help of iphoto, that if you delete your images from the picture folder that the images will be corrupted permanently, does this mean there there is no actual way of getting them back?

I assume these photos, or at least not all of them weren't in photo stream.
You should be able to recover your photos from a back up.

No. If there was a way of getting hold of the password, it wouldn't be much of a security system, would it? The backup is lost if you can't remember.

The cable carries the same warranty as the device with which it came. Bring it to Apple. If a hardware defect is noted (and not misuse) then the cable will be replaced.

Freeing Up Space on The Hard Drive

2. You can remove data from your Home folder except for the /Home/Library/ folder.
3. Visit The XLab FAQs and read the FAQ on freeing up space on your hard drive.
4. Also see Freeing space on your Mac OS X startup disk.

6. See The Storage Display.
You must Empty the Trash in order to recover the space they occupied on the hard drive.
You should consider replacing the drive with a larger one. Check out OWC for drives, tutorials, and toolkits.
Try using OmniDiskSweeper 1.8 or GrandPerspective to search your drive for large files and where they are located.

I have an iPhone 4S with broken speaker right now, I took it to the Genius Bar and was told to pay $199 if wanting it replaced. Is there anyway I could, get an iPhone 5 instead of 4S, even for a more expensive cost?

So here's the thing: a few days ago I found the volume of the speaker on my phone going very low when I pick up the phone, I could barely hear anything. We took it to the store and was told that we'd pay $199 if wanting it replaced, or getting an iPhone 5 for $130 for a maxplan. Ok, so it's next to impossible for me to give up my plan cause you can't find a plan nearly as good as mines at this price. So last night I lost my phone and I hadn't backed it up for about a month. I don't normally purchase music on my computer I just purchase it through my phone. I had about $55-$60 worth of music that had not been backed up. I was just wondering if there was any hope that I would be able to get it back onto my iTunes. If I can't, this will truly be the day the music died.

CS6 Prod Prem upgrade; Is there anyway I could get shipped disks?

I qualify for the free upgrade to CS6 Production Premium. Once this becomes available, in roughly 10 days, would it be at all possible to get disks, rather than having to download it?
CS6 PP is 12GB plus, and I have lowest end DSL. Downloading could easily take 2 weeks and would cause a fair amount of hardship.

After the restore did the phone work properly for a while? Say, a day or so?
If so it is possible you have an app that doesn't let go of memory properly. I reboot my iPhone ( hold sleep/wake and hole till you see the apple logo) every few days. This resets the memory. The iPhone OS has doesn't seem to mange memory very well yet. So a reboot will help with that. I have had my phone almost slow to a stop before I started rebooting. Always reboot after installing a new app. Also do you close all pages in Safari when you are done? This is a good practice. Safari will run in the background and use processor time and drain your battery quicker. Create a new blank page then close all others when you are done browsing for a while. I have also found that certain web site that have animated images like weather maps will turn the phone into molasses. As soon as i close that page it gets faster.
If all of the above have no effect then as Tamara said it is time for a trip to the Genius bar.

heidie22, dj_paige has a very good point there. I would not through away the NEF files; I would archive them to a external drive.
By the way, I am assuming that converting RAW files to DNG is a decision you have made and not an accident.

I am not aware of a heart, square, circle or lasso shape i=for editing in iphoto for the Mac - Maybe you are thinking of iPhoto for IOS which has been discontinued and is not available under IOS 8

I received my week 16 MBP yesterday morning. It has been perfect thus far. Quite the improvment over my old iBook. I do hear some noises rarely but not enough to make me think there is a problem, I believe they are just the standard purrs and ticks of a high-powered computer. It doesn't run hot. I'd say cool to rather warm if used heavily. I hope I have a problem free experiance. I would hate for this product to tarnish Apple's reputation, that would be unacceptable considering this product is amazing. I will say this; I called Applecare, more out of curiousity than anything else and told them that I had just purchased an MBP and, while mine was fine, I had heard allot of disturbing reports about noise and heat. I asked point blank if Apple was aware of any issues and if they where working to resolve it. The answer I got was surprisingly forward. I was informed that they were "VERY" aware and working to correct the issues. He then told me I was lucky to recieve one of the quiet MBPs. I hope they work it out soon.
