My Mac won't share the printer to my wifes windows 7 computer. Worked fine with Snow Leopard but with Lion it won't print from my wifes computer. It also won't connect with file sharing anymore. Any solution that may help please? Thank You

Emma, as per what I have read above, this seems to be very weird scenario. To be frank, I dont have a direct answer as to why the DVD is not running properly on the machine and why does it ejects automatically.
But, I can suggest a workaround.
Can you insert the DVD on some other machine(Win/Mac), and copy the complete "Adobe Photoshop Elements 8" folder on some external drive.
Then attach the external drive to your Mac and copy the folder onto your machine say on the desktop.
If this much part can be done, then you just need to go inside the folder, and double click on Setup.app to launch the installer.

Go to the website of the manufacturer of your printer and check to see if they have released an updated driver for your particular model.

I would suspect this is a hardware issue. The rollers are probably having issues picking up the relatively smooth thick media. You might have better results be cleaning the paper pickup rollers with a damp paper towel. Also make sure the paper is snugly loaded and the paper guides have been correctly positioned.

Get a free copy of MPEG Streamclip and convert them to QuickTime .mov using the H.264 codec if you are presumably editing in iMovie.
Note that your list of video codecs won't look like mine as I have Final Cut Pro, but H.264 is definitely an option for you. -
How can I get Airport Utility to find my Airport? It is nearby, no interference, and worked for about 9 months. The Airport still provides wireless internet for the household, though it won't recognize the printer -- plugged in or wireless.
Are you using the latest version (5.5.2) of the AirPort Utility to access the new 802.11n AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBSn)? Your tagline has it that you are running OS X 10.4.6. You would need at least 10.5.7 to run the utility. I assume that you are running the latest utility on another device ... correct?
When having difficulties accessing the AirPort thru the AirPort Utility, try the following, in order checking accessibility with the utility after each step:
o Check the local connection. If you are trying to access the AirPort wirelessly, make sure that you are connected to its wireless network before running the AirPort Utility to administer it. If you are still unable to access it with the utility, temporarily connect your computer directly using an Ethernet cable to one of the base station's LAN ports.
o Power cycle the base station. Remove the power adapter's plug from the power outlet, and then, wait 15 seconds before plugging it back in.
o Perform a "factory default" reset on the base station. -

How do I share my printer between my two Windows 7 systems?
Some users find that they have a non-networked printer that worked fine in a mixed Windows environment, but found their two Windows 7 printers (one host and one client) are not able to share the printer.
Windows 7 handles networking differently than previous versions of Windows.
The easiest way to get started with sharing printers between multiple Windows 7 computers is to setup a HomeGroup. A HomeGroup is a way to authorize different Windows 7 computers to talk to each other and share resources. Microsoft has a good article about HomeGroups that has links to various guides.
Once the HomeGroup is setup, the next step is to setup a host for the USB printer.
This article from Microsoft details how to enable file and printer sharing, sharing the printer, and the basic steps of adding the printer.
The first two sections are fine as they are, but I would like to expand on adding a shared printer to the other Windows 7 computers.
This process tends to have the greatest success with sharing printers in Windows 7. Most USB only printers do have a driver available in Windows.
1. Go to Start>Devices and Printers.
2. Click on Add a printer at the top.
3. While it is a networked printer, it is not the current network standard printer. Select Add a local printer.
4. Select Create a new port with a local port for type.
5. Enter \\<host computer name>\<printer name> without the < > symbols. The host computer name is the name of the computer that has the printer attached to it. If you do not know that name, go to the host computer and go to Start>Right-click Computer>Properties. The computer name will be listed here. The printer's share name was selected in a previous step in the Microsoft article.
6. Click Ok and the printer driver screen will appear. Click on Windows Update to ensure it is the most current list.
7. Select the printer model from that list.
8. Follow the rest of the prompts.
At the end of these steps, the printer should be shared from the host computer to the other Windows 7 computers.
Some important notes about this setup:
1. Only printing will be functional.
2. The host computer must be on for printing to work.
3. The host computer could enter standby or suspended mode. This will interrupt the shared printer on the other systems.
With these steps completed, the printer should be functional on the Windows 7 computers once again.

It assumes that you the account owner will be using it to manage one account via multiple devices. So once you have read a message it has been read, regardless of which device you were using at the time.
You appear to be describing a situation where you want more than one user to read each message, without anyone knowing if anyone else has read it or even dealt with it. Frankly, I can't imagine a set of circumstances where this workflow would make sense or be useful.
You can do various things such as manually setting messages as unread, or moving them from one folder to another to indicate that they have been processed, but much of this relies on users being thorough and conscientious.
You may need to be running your own server to do this sort of email message managing, if you really need to fork a message so it gets to multiple recipients. Managing which users see a particular message is a job for a server, not the end-user's email client. -
Just started up my Mac Mini out of the box, using a USB windows keyboard, it will not recognize letters so I am unable to enter serial number. Anything I can do to get the mini mac right out of the box to recognize the windows keyboard? Do I have to buy an Apple Keyboard to get it to work right out of the box?
Is this a normal USB keyboard or is there anything specialized about it? Does this keyboard require you to install any special software to use it on a Windows box? Or is it usually a plug & play keyboard?
Normally if a Mac does not recognize a keyboard it asks you to press certain keys to identify the keyboard. What is happening on screen with this keyboard? What serial number are you referring to? -

Parallels should be able to handle that without any problems.
There is a version of both of those that will run on the Mac. So you might consider upgrading to that version instead of going with Windows on your Mac.

All the music you purchased from iTunes can be re-downloaded, all the music you acquired without purchasing from iTunes can be accessed using Senuti (not free). The combination of these 2 will get your music back.

Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc. -
I don't know what I downloaded that caused the problem, but now when I try to make a new folder on the desktop of my new Windows 7 computer, I have only the following choices: Shortcut, Bitmap Image, Contact, Microsoft Word Document, Journal Document, Microsoft Powerpoint Presentation, Text Document, Microsoft Excel Worksheet, and Briefcase. SULLOQUYIf you were able to access the AX using the AirPort Utility but your PC is still not able to connect. I would try performing a "factory default" reset on the AX to see if that helps before going to the store. This type of reset will put the AX back to its "out-of-the-box" configuration which would broadcast an unsecured wireless network with a network name of something like: Apple Network NNNNNN. If your PC still cannot "see" or connect to this network, then a visit to the store would be in order.
