My mac wont connect to my wifi.
My macbookpro wont connect to my wifi, or any wifi for that matter, it used to be able to but then one day it just stopped, sometimes when i log into my acounts i find it connected to my wifi but then it will log out after 2 minutes. It might have been something i did to my mac (unintentionally) because my other computers are fine, does anyone have any suggestions?

Go to System Preferences
Click Network
Highlight AirPort and click Configure...
Choose “By default, join: Preferred networks”
Select your access point.
Remove your access point with the minus button.
Launch your keychain access in Utilities and delete your access point keychain entry.
Reboot
Go back to the “By default, join:” page and click the plus this time to add your access point. Enter the correct password, save, reboot.

Power Cycle
Power off the router. Unplug it from the wall. Wait a while.
Plug it back to the wall. Power the router on. Wait until all the lights are lit properly. It will take a while.
Restart the computer.
Start up in Safe Mode.

Without knowing anything about your WiFI system, my opinion is that your wifi signal is either, weaker than your downstairs neighbor, or more likely, your wi fi system is suffering from interference. The first thing you should do is change the channel it is operating on. See if that helps.
I tend to think it is not the router, but can only offer a guess, since you did not describe your system. -
My mac wont connect to the wifi in my apt. it will connect to other networks elsewhere just fine, however. All my other devices still connect anywhere in the apt. Help?
The apt is very small. But i ran istumble and it said the router was giving around 64% and it appears as though no one around is using the same channel as us. Either way, if other comps can pick up on the signal, why isnt mine all of a sudden?

My paper work for my linksys says WEP 64 bits. I've tried changing my IPOD to that and it will say put in password and when I do I get "invalid password" or can not connect. This has been in the last few weeks. I have researched this for the last 2 weeks, called apple and they said it's not my IPOD, called Linksys and they want to charge $30 to fix it. Iphone 4 wont connect to home wifi but connects to neighbors open wifi. Family members with iphones can connect to the wifi automatically and Mac compiuter in home connects to this wifi and this iphone did connect automaticcally until a few weeks ago. Does not request password when try to connect to own wifi..just says "cant access.". Also cant access the Apple apps store to purchase apps but all other function operate normally. Apple store tech says nothing wrong with phone. It connected to their wifi and coud access apps store from their wifi. This iphone belongs to son who is autistic. I am mother trying to resolve this issue and very frustrated. Have reset router but no change.
Based on the symptoms, your phone is fine, and the Router is the problem. Try http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1398. Specifically the "forget this network" step. I would also consider resetting the wifi network password. Sometimes that will allow a connection.

My ipod touch (4th) suddenly wont connect to my wifi. It connected fine before and all of my other electronics (tablets, computers, laptops, gaming systems, etc.) are connected and working completely fine. I tried turning the wifi setting on my ipod on/off as well as the actual ipod itself. I also tried resetting the network settings but neither of these options worked. Any suggestions on what I should do?

EUREKA, I found the solution to my problem in a Discussion initiated by gingertodd on July 27, 2011 entitled "Safari in Lion hijacked by malware." The solution was provided by Badunit who recommended force quitting Safari and then reopening it while holding down the Shift key. It worked instantly, and I subsequently was able to open Safari normally by just clicking on its icon in the Dock. THANK YOU BADUNIT!

When you can't log into public WiFi ...
with an iDevice…
because the Server times out ...
or the login/registration page just won't load ...
********Simply do this***********
Go into settings> WiFi and tap the little info icon for the network you are trying to join
If you see two slider buttons, these are the cause of your woes
One says "Auto Join" (or similar) - you can leave this ON
The second button is "Auto Login" - you must turn this OFF (slide it left so it is grey not green)
Now go back and reselect the network.
If the login page doesn't come up automatically, open a Safari window and enter any address
Bingo!
I have reproduced this issue and solution in 100% of the public WiFi spots which I could previously not access. Please not that I also have "Block Pop-Ups" turned OFF in Settings> Safari, though I do not know if this is a necessary step.
I have filed a bug report with Apple. Feel free to contact them yourselves if this workaround works for you.
