My macbook air bluetooth does not pair with a bluetooth speakers!
Recently I bought this http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00MPT631O?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_de tailpage_o01_s00 speakers it pairs with my Iphone 5 perfectly, but when I try to connected to my macbook air, it does not work for me it shows the following window, which cannot get connected to the speakers, thanks in advance for any help
While it appears that the Mac is discoverable, since it is not seeing the speakers, you may need to check the documentation that came with the speakers to see if they are in discovery/pairing mode, and how to get them into that mode. Then try and pair them.

sajalrmThere is nothing to solve. Pairin with another phone is not a supported BlueTooth protocol. The exception being pairing for some multi-player games.

Can anyone help/ After installing ios7 on the iphone 4, I cannot connect bluetooth on the phone with my bluetooth car speaker. It worked before ios7. I have restored my phone but it is still not working.
Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings. This will not affect data. Remove the car speakers from the phone under Bluetooth, and remove the phone from the car stereo. After that place both devices back into pairing mode and reconnect.

Went to 4.5 and now Bluetooth does not pair with anything.
I have already checked every setting I can think of, my phone is discoverable; I've tried with and without encryption; I've tried to connect to other phones; I have had the other phones try to pair with me...
When my husband's phone tries to pair with mine I get this message: Service not supported by other device. Same with my mom's phone and my dad's phone. All different brands, Nokia, Motorola, etc.
I have an LG HBM-770 Hands free device and it connects perfectly.

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
There is a few things to check to see if the Bluetooth is working properly.
1. Go to Options on the BlackBerry, and open Bluetooth.
2. Press the menu key and select Options.
3. Scroll down and are ALL of the Bluetooth services check-marked?
4. Next go back into the main Options of the BlackBerry.
5. Go into Security Options and then General Settings.
6. Is there anything that states an IT Policy Name?
You can always perform a reset to factory to make sure nothing security related is affecting the Bluetooth connectivity.

E71 bluetooth does not pair with my car bluetooth
my old Nokia phone paired with my car , however having just upgraded my phone to an E71 it will not pair, does anyone know how to resolve this - thanks
To set automatic bluetooth connections go to MENU - CONNECTIVITY - BLUETOOTH, at the top of the scree you will see the word Bluetooth then abluetooth icon and spanner; curser to the right to the next twin bluetooth icon where it will show all the paired devices. If there are none listed go to the options soft-key and select "New paired device". If you have previously paired a device select it, if not search for devices then connect. Choose "authorise device" to connect automatically in future. Having said all that, and done all those things, my E71 still wont connect to authorised devices!! It must be a software problem with the E71 because my N96 and X6 have all worked perfectly automatically with the same devices the E71 won't!! Come on Nokia give us a software update to fix this problem; PLEASE.

I am having the same problem, my brothers samsung picks up every bluetooth device thats remotely close but the 4s just sits there searching while sitting on the same desk as my iPad2, iMac 24" and headset that worked fine on my old 3 g.
I am not hugely tek savvy, can anyone explain in easy speak (the kid at the local apple reseeler told me the new bluetooth used on the 4s is not compatible with the older bluetooth devices.... hmmmmmm)

after hibernation, when trying to login to MacBook Air, it does not accept my password. I have to shut off and then get prompted with the following: Mac OS X wants to use the "login" keychain. I put in the password there and it works. any suggestions?
Back up all data.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password, unless you've changed it.
Right-click or control-click the login entry in the list. From the menu that pops up, select Change Settings for Keychain "login". In the sheet that opens, uncheck both boxes, if not already unchecked.
From the menu bar, select
Keychain Access ▹ Preferences ▹ First Aid
If the box marked Keep login keychain unlocked is not checked, check it.
Select
Keychain Access ▹ Keychain First Aid
from the menu bar and repair the keychain. Quit Keychain Access. -
IPhone 4 Bluetooth will not pair with Jawbone Icon, Jawbone 2
Just got my iPhone today and am more or less thrilled to have it. The only problem (other than the antenna issue, which the bumper fixes beautifully) is that Bluetooth will not pair with any of my Bluetooth devices. When I turn on Bluetooth on the phone and turn on the headset, iPhone says it's "searching.." and "now discoverable" but it never discovers anything, let alone pair up. The Bluetooth on my MacBook recognized the iPhone and I was able to pair them, but no luck on the Jawbones. Sounds like a JB problem, but I'm wondering if anyone has had this problem and if there's a fix via the iPhone.
On the icon, turn it off and hold button down while sliding the power switch on. This should put it in pairing mode. Then go into your i4's bluetooth menu and give it another go. Also, Jawbone has recently updated the firmware for the Icon so you need to load it as well. I have the icon and a Jabra cruiser and both work/paired fine. You may want to try rebooting phone and retrying as well.

In my newly purchased MacBook Air, Dropbox does not function properly (it shows MS Word, Excell and Power Point docs but not pictures). It asks for Mac OS Password for my computer which I do not have. How should I get this password ?
If the user account is associated with an Apple ID, and you know that account password, the Apple ID can be used to reset your user account password.
Otherwise, boot into Recovery by holding down the key combination command-R at startup. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.
When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select Utilities ▹ Terminal from the menu bar.
In the Terminal window, type this:
resetpassword
That's one word with no spaces. Then press return. A Reset Password window opens.
Select your boot volume if not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected.
Follow the prompts to reset the password. It's safest to choose a password that includes only the characters a-z, A-Z, and 0-9.
Select ▹ Restart from the menu bar.
You should now be able to log in with the new password, but you won't be able to unlock the Keychain. If you've forgotten the Keychain password (which is ordinarily the same as your login password), there's no way to recover it. You’ll need to reset your keychain in the preferences of the Keychain Access application. -
IPhone 4s will not pair with car bluetooth
My new iphone 4s will not pair with the bluetooth in my 07 Volvo XC70. The blue tooth is after market, looks similar to internet photos of Motorolla T605. Blue tooth says to put in scan mode and then enter code when prompted. Pairing fails and then the screen for the code shows up on the phone.
I had a iPhone 3s paired with this Bluetooth, and once when I did a reset of that phone had this issue, put through many attempts it eventually paired. Despite many attempts, I cannot get the 4S running IOS 5 to pair.
The phone does pair with a motorolla bluetooth ear piece.I've been having this issue since I got an iPhone 4S last week. (Upgraded from iPhone 4 on iOS 5.0.1)
I would think that this is a software issue but I went ahead and visited an AT&T store to see about a replacement phone. I was directed to go to an Apple store which I then did. I explained this bluetooth issue I was having as well as the other issue with no audio on outbound calls (described in a different thread) and they gave me a new phone.
Well, I've tested it several times now with the nav/handsfree systems in two different cars as well as with my headset. All is good so far! No drop of bluetooth connection, can switch at will between audio sources and no lack of audio on outbound calls any more. (And these problems were happening frequently before, even after a complete restore.) -
I Wish to connect my 6 year old Apple 20" Cinema Display to an orignal MacBook Air which does not have a Fire-Wire port. Is this possible? Any advice would be appreciated. I have the Micro-DVI to DVI adapter. Norm
The FireWire cable is just for the FireWire ports on the display. The display will run without it.

Brightness control does not work with the bluetooth keyboard connected on my iPad2. Please someone could help me ?

I have the Apple MC184LL/A Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard. The brigtness control works with mine, as do most of the other functions.
Try cycling the keyboard off and on. Hold the power button until the green LED goes out. Then press it one more time to turn it back on.
You might try resetting the iPad's network. Go to Settings-General-Reset-Reset Network Settings. Then you may need to reconnect your WiFi and Bluetooth.
If that doesn't help, try resetting/rebooting the iPad. Hold both the Home and Sleep buttons for several seconds until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" arrow. The iPad will restart in a couple of minutes. Resetting this way will not hurt anything, and sometimes clears up mysterious problems.

Cannot print a large PDF on Adobe Reader xi
Working in Adobe XI reader, have a large file saved to my hard drive, when I send to printer, it says cannot print, have re-downloaded the printer drivers, still get the error.
