After charging overnight
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

You can only transfer purchases from iTunes on the iPad into iTunes on your computer. If you bought the music from another source, you need to use the source app to transfer the music, or you need a third party app to transfer the music.

Is it possible to upgrade my macbook air 13" from 1.86 GHz 128 gb flash and 2GB memory to the 2.13 GHz 256 and 4GB memory, how much would it cost?
About the only thing that "might" be able to do is upgrade the SSD. OWC sells SSD upgrades for that unit. You would have to contact Apple though to verify that no warranty issues would apply when making the upgrade.

Did you enter the compitition from some place you know? If not don't trust it
Do you know who is at that email address? If no then don't trust it
Is the email asking for personal information? If yes don't trust it
Is there a link in the email linking to some other third party? If yes, don't trust it -
When I'm streaming videos from my Macbook Air to my AppleTV, my Macbook Air gets rather hot and the fan works hard and is loud trying to keep the laptop cool. Is this harmful to the laptop? Is this normal?
My MBA fans start running when I play video too - the CPU's video processor is working pretty hard to decode the video. The fans job is to provide better airflow. The time to worry is when you play video and the fans don't run.

I live in the US and want to buy a MacBook Air with norwegian keyboard in the Apple Store. Is that possible?
In earlier years you can go th an Apple Store, buy a Macbook Pro and ask for a replacement to a other type of keyboard. I do this 2-3 times in the last years for german keyboards. If you done this on the same day you bought the macbook, the replacement happened without charge anything. It was a great service.
Yesterday i go back to the same store like before and both - the sales representative and the guys an the GeniusBar told me - that this is not offered by Apple anymore. Because the US Apple Online Store do not offer other Keyboards the US-based keyboards and the German Apple Online Store do not deliver to other countries the final conglusion from the Apple Stuff was:

I see here in the Support community a lot of questions about norwegian, german and other kind of keyboards they want to buy in the US. Their is obviously a need for this. And from the logistic standpoint, it should be easy for Apple to offer that in the Online Stores itself.
For me the conglusaion is: I stay with my old Macbook Pro and hope i need no replacement within the next years. To order it in germany, ship it to a friend, pay taxes twice (in germany and vur customers) plus shipment, make it to expensive (bottonline: 600-800$ more than buy it in the US) make no sense to me. -
My macbook air will no longer connect to my wifi automatically, I have changed the preferences to automatically selecr known networks but everytime i open the macbook air or after i restart the macbook, i will need to manually l select the wifi. 3. Reset the PRAM.
4. Make a note of all your settings for Wi-Fi in the Network preference pane, then delete the connection from the connection list and recreate it with the same settings. You do this by clicking the plus-sign icon below the connection list, and selecting Wi-Fi as the interface in the sheet that opens. Select Join other network from the Network Name menu, then select your network. Enter the password when prompted and save it in the keychain.
5. From the Location menu at the top of the Network preference pane, select Edit Locations. A sheet will drop down. Click the plus-sign button to create a new location. Give it any name you want. In the new location, set up the Wi-Fi service with the same settings you used before. Click Apply and test.
6. Launch the Keychain Access application. Search for and delete all AirPort network password items that refer to the network. Make a note of the password first.
7. Repair permissions on the startup volume.
8. Turn off Bluetooth and test.
9. Reset the System Management Controller.
10. This step shouldn't be necessary, but has been advised by Apple Support in some cases, apparently as a workaround for a bug. Open the Energy Saver pane in System Preferences. If applicable, click the padlock icon in the lower left corner to unlock the settings. Enter your administrator login password when prompted.

Facetime between iPad2 and MacBook Air worked fine here in the USA. The iPad2 is now in Rome, Italy and we can't connect internationally. We both can hear the caller ringing in and can see who is trying to call, but after accepting the call we cannot connect. No voice, no video. iPad is successfully sending and receiving eMails, but no Factime connection What's up?
I am curious if possibly the hotel has some sort of VOIP block on. Have you tried Skype? Did you talk to the hotel staff? My husband is traveling to Milan in a couple of days and I wonder if he will run into the same issue. He has had no problems from Istanbul but he is staying in a corporate apartment there. Just redownlod it from the Mac App Store on any other Macs - you won't have to pay for them again. On your iOS devices you will need to purchase the iOS version which is a different program - again, you will only need to buy it the once for all your iOS devices.
