My MacKeeper says iPhoto is out of date. When I try to update it, the App Store says I need IOS 10.9 or later. I have 10.7.5 and when I check for updates my Mac says the OS software is up to date. How do I solve this problem??

when you say "safe booting" do you mean restarting/shutdown and restart? because i restarted my macbook air while holding down the shift key while it was starting up but there was not luck either, the problem was still there when i restarted it again. -

Probably caused by the McAfee Site Advisor extension - disable it in the Firefox Addons Manager > Extensions tab.
If you don't have that specific extension installed, there are other "security" add-ons that use the guts of McAfee SA. You'll need to figure out which one it is with a little troubleshooting.

When I enter my photos app(only on my iPad Air), it says my iCloud storage can't update because it's full. In the settings it says I have 1,5 GB storage left. How do I solve this problem?

Does leaving macbook air on all the time (while plugged in) to download torrents degrade battery life?
You have a lot of things going on here...you are keeping the Air plugged in all the time, you should run on the battery periodically to give it some exercise, you are keeping it on all the time which may be keeping it under constant or near constant load, and you are doing all of that to download pirated content, for which you will get no help on here.

We did that, but it just doesn't seem to be able to connect. So basically we tried to connect to our network and insert the password, but afterwards it does nothing. Weird thing is also that the network symbol (top right of the screen) says that it has been connected, but when I go look at the system preferences --> network, it states that it has not been connected

I had the same problem with mine when I connect the ipod when it's full charged and turn on. The problem never happen when the ipod is charging or i'ts full charged and it's turn off. So just turn off your ipod down and connect to your mac again.

If you're using the BlackBerry browser, you can't configure anything to bypass the RIM servers. I believe you may do so by using the Opera browser, but I haven't tried it myself so cannot comment with authority.

I updated to OS X Mavericks and now trying to run Logic Pro X on a MacBook Pro mid-2009, using an M-Audio Axiom 49 and an M-Audio Fast Track Pro... Logic keeps telling me that Mac OS X MIDI Services are not available... How do I solve this problem?
I just checked to see if the update to OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 solved any of the issues outlined in my previous post, and to my dismay, nothing has changed -- all of the previous problems persist.
My iMac (8) -- it's renamed itself eight times since the recent troubleshoot with the Apple tech rep -- shows up as a shared device in Finder on my MacBook Pro, but when I click on it, I cannot establish a connection using "Connect As". So I've attempted to connect using the menu "Go/Connect to Server...", using both (alternately) the iMac's name and IP address, to no avail. I get a message which reads: "There was a problem connecting to the server 'Peter's iMac (8)'. This server may not exist or it is unavailable at this time. Check the server name or IP address, check your network connection, and then try again."
Here's what I know:
The server -- Peter's iMac (8) does exist;
The server -- Peter's iMac (8) is available at this time;
The server name -- Peter's iMac (8) -- is correct, as specified in the system sharing preferences;
The server IP address is correct, as specified in the system sharing preferences;
The network connection is active when I attempt to connect.
I'm convinced the problems stem directly from the OS X Yosemite update. None of this was ever remotely an issue in the previous OS X's -- any of them. This is maddening! What can be done? Apple?? Anyone??? -

Hi all, I've set up a new metadata view, which just shows ISO, Aperture, Shutter Speed and Focal Length. Great! Now when I view a large image in the Viewer mode, it appears to be repeating the metadata on two lines. One in large font and the next lin
