My macbook doesnt open some pages?

Hey there! I have a really big problem with my macbook pro 13 inch 2012.
It is really new, it just came three days before, My wi-fi connection is fine and others PCs work normaly with this wifi network, but my macbook doesnt open some pages, specialy Twitter. It just seems to be loading the page but it doesnt, and it isnt just twitter because when I try to open new websites it doesnt load.
PLEASE HELP, IM REALLY WORRIED.

a few hours ago, suddenly my mac stopped opening some websites and displayed a not connected to internet message. but other sites did open, then i went to my pc and the same was happening. i called my internet service support told that, and made something to the router remotely and it started working for my pc. but my mac is still not showing half the pages i browse. even my mails in my mac that are not @me.com are being connected.

Please answer as many of the following questions as you can. You may already have answered some of them. In that case, there's no need to repeat the answers.
Have you restarted your router and your broadband device (if they're separate) since you first noticed the problem? If not, do that now and see whether there's any change.
If your browser is Safari, then from the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
and confirm. Any change?
If you're running OS X 10.9 or later, select the Advanced tab in the Preferences window and uncheck the box marked
Stop plug-ins to save power
Any change?
Quit and relaunch the browser. Any change?
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this behavior; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.

Are any other web browsers installed, and are they the same? What about other Internet applications, such as iTunes and the App Store?
If other browsers and Internet applications are also affected, follow these instructions and test. Any change?
If Parental Controls is active for any user, please turn it off and test. Any change?
If only Safari is affected, launch the Activity Monitor application and enter "web" (without the quotes) in the search box. If a process named "Safari Web Content" is shown in red or is using more than about 5% of a CPU, select it and force it to quit by clicking the X or Quit Process button in the toolbar of the window. Open the iCloud preference pane and uncheck the box marked Photos, if it's checked. Any change?
Are there any other devices on the same network that can browse the Web, and are they affected?
If you can test Safari on another network, is it the same there?
If you connect to your router with Wi-Fi and you can also connect with Ethernet, do that and turn off Wi-Fi. Any difference?

Safari 4 can't open some pages not beta

please if somebody have the solution the problem is:
i did software update and i downloaded safari 4 and install it .. but safari 4 cant open some pages such as...omm may be i can't post other web here.. when i try to go to some web site (not all) this msg come up

but i can browse the same web site on firefox perfectly .. i tried to browse the same web site on another mbp using also safari 4 it work correctly !!
so i did repair permission and verify permission ... not work
i did reset safari.. it work once ( i can open page put when i click any link inside it the "safari can't open the page..." show again) and when i press back botton it also show safari can't open the page and i did safari reset again and also the same problem!!!
i did re- install safari and did repair permission and my mbp up to date but seems i can't browse this web site from my mbp with safari 4 ...
please if there is any way to install safari 3.1.2 again or solution for this problem just tell me

The LLBean site loads just fine for me. Besides, the "lost network connection" error and the inability to load Apple feedback page make me think the problem is not necessarily with Java or with one site.
Can you load other pages fine? Please post back.

You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5.2.2 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.2 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Older versions of Pages 5 can not open files from later versions of Pages 5.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud and opened in a newer version of Pages is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has removed over 110 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

You can add the icon of the missing Pages on your Dock or open Pages from the Apple menu > Recent Items list.
Or you can archive Pages 5 so that it doesn't automatically open.
If you are unhappy about this mess that Apple has created, review/rate Pages 5 in the App Store.

Within reason, Pages v5.2 documents are forwards compatible with Pages v5.5.3. Apple introduced the single file format document as a default with Pages v5.5.3 which is not backwards compatible with Pages v5 on Mavericks.
However, they also provided a File > Advanced > Change File Type > {Single File, Package} menu that allows you to change the current Pages v5.5.3 document into the backwards compatible Package type document. You would follow this transformation with a File > Save operation to complete it.

Safari cant open some pages

I have OS10.6.2 in several computers and it works fine in all but my main machine the Macbook Pro,
where it tells me Safari can't open certain pages, including it won't let me log in to these discussions. Has similar problem with Firefox. Most troublesome - can some kind person help? Have tried all the usual troubleshoot moves. Thanks, Rudd.

Safari doesnt open some webpages!

Safari doesnt open lots of the webpages I go on a lot. I used to be able to go on bebo with this computer, but now it cannot find the server. I need to go on macromedia.com and it cannot find that site either! And metacafe.com... theres a whole lot of sites it cannot go on. Does anyone know what I can do so I could go on these pages? Please? and thanks!

After upgrade to 22.0 when sidebar is open, some pages no longer fit in window like in version 19.

After seeing suggestions I tried adjusting the about.config CSS setting from -1 to 1, etc. But this just changes the size of all pages. Not a fix because some pages are okay to begin with, so they don't need shrinking. All Pages seem to fit until I open the bookmark sidebar. Then about half of the pages I visit (facebook for example) don't fit on the page & I have to scroll back & forth horizontally to read them. Other pages (http://www.ric.edu/ for example) fit the window perfectly.

If web pages needs to be adjusted after changing this pref then you can look at the Default FullZoom Level or NoSquint extension.

My browsing sessions are being hijacked as Firefox opens some pages. Started when updated to v20.

Open pages spontaneously change to random advertising sites. happens a lot to yahoo home page. does not appear to happen in IE10 or chrome. also there is a pop-up box showing up at the bottom of some pages asking if I want to go to some ad on the page.
