My macbook pro can't download anything from the internet

Hi, I tried to download some software from the internet (like MAMP, tomtom, or samsung kies). When I clicked the download button, instead of downloading, my page reloaded and nothing happend. At first I tought something was wrong with Safari, so I tried using Chrome, but nothing changes. Also tried with Firefox and opera, also still can't download. Does anyone know what to do? I need to download some of the software for my classes.

Two of several possibilities:
Do you have a Download accelerator installed in your system? The most popular is Speed Download? Enter Speed Download in your Finder's Spotlight panel. If installed, you'll either need to become a registered user or uninstall the Plug-in.
If no, You may have a corrupted Safari Downloads file. Go to your Finder: Your User Account>Library>Safari. There, move the Downloads.plist file to the trash, then restart Safari and try a Download.

Just straigt to the issue, I'm not really sure with my internet connection in my country. I mean its so slow and sometimes it disconnects and reconnect. So I'm not trusting the internet connection here to download such a big software like Logic Pro x or Final Cut Pro x. So is there any way for me to buy the pro apps without downloading straight from the internet? I mean like the oldschool method, come with a box. I bought Logic pro 7 and 8 like that and has no problem with it. But now apple selling all the pro apps from the app store, its cool and easy but im afraid if i bought it online and im pretty sure i will encounter problems during the download period. It might took me like a week or more maybe to download 40GB file, i dont know. And more over, what if my internet connection cut off while i download the software?
So please do help me with this. I would love to have Logic Pro X on my apple computer.

The events are not "sealed". Your clips – if you copied rather than leaving in place – are in the Original Media folder. If you used 10.1.x, you right click on the library bundle and choose Show Package Contents. In early versions, just open the event folder.
There are multiple ways to get media on ones' computer. One way is to use a card reader and copy the entire card structure to whatever destination is used for a media drive. Then import into the NLE.
I don't have any experience with Hitfilm but I assume their user forums would be a good place to get an understanding of what workflows work best for that application.

I just get a message--- after a long wait where the app icon says "waiting" that I can't connect to iTunes.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 6...can I download it from the internet?

I bought this program some yearsai ago and had it installed on my old computer. I live in another country now and have a new computer....I do not have the original disk with me...is it possible for me to download the program again from the internet? I do have the registration code.

Well you can ask for upgrade price which is usually < than the full product price. On Adobe.com you will be able to find only latest version. You might look on web and check if any other vendor is having PSE6 but i fear since it is 4-5 yrs old so hard to find the same. If you have cd/dvd for PSE 6 you can reinstall. Make sure you have serial key with you for the same if it used to need it.

You can only install apps from the iTunes app store on your computer and/or the App Store app directly on the iPad - PC and Mac software are not compatible with the iPad, they are different operating systems.
I'm also not aware of any viruses on iOS devices, and there are therefore no anti-virus apps available for it.

You are aware that you can purchase and install a copy of Windows directly on your Mac, right?
Boot Camp is included with OS X, and requires that you create a separate partition for Windows and install it onto your Mac hard drive. You re-boot your Mac computer into Windows when you want to run the Windows app.
There are also virtual machine environments that will allow you to run full Windows at the same time as Mac OS X: Parallels Desktop, and VMWare Fusion.
Windows performance running in a virtual environment will be limited by the amount of RAM available, the microprocessor, and the amount of hard disk space available.
Parallels offers a free 15-day trial, but you still need a full licensed copy of Windows in order to test it.

I can't download files from the internet

When I select a file to download from the internet, my Application folder opens, but all of the programs are gray. I've checked Firefox Preferences to make sure that files are downloading to the correct location. I'm using the latest version of Firefox and Mac OSx4.11 on a MacBookPro. Safari works so its not a hardware problem.

Have you recently tried a download manager like *Speed Download* by any chance? If you have, simply trashing it wont remove the files it installs, and if you don't remove them, the browser wont download anymore. You need to use the uninstaller.

That cryptic error message might mean that the payment information in your account is invalid. Check with your credit-card issuer to see whether a charge was denied. If not, see below.
Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this behavior; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Please take this step regardless of the results of Step 1.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2.

I suspect you have a 4G iPod. As Apple said in June, iOS 7 is not compatible with the 4G iPod.
All the iOS devices compatible (iPhone 4 and later, iPad 2 and later, and 5G iPod touch) with iOS 7 have at least 512 MB of memory (RAM). The 4G iPod only has 256 MB
