Yesterday I was on the computer on Facebook, then I spilled a juice over the keyboard. I turned it off and let it sit there, then I turned it on and it took about 3 minutes to show the Log in screen, then I logged in and it was taking long to load the stuff in my desktop and it was being really slow for everything.
Please Help!
I got it on December, and I don't have much time with it!! I really need to fix it.

Hi I have a recent macbook pro 12" (bought in april 2012) model number A1278. I'm trying to connect to a 23" apple cinema display (A1082) this currently is not working - i've bought an additional Apple MB570ZA Mini DisplayPort to DVI Adapter - no luck!

I have had the exact same issue but with a projector.
The issue lies with Mountian Lion 10.8.2.
I tried many a combination with no luck to get HDMI working.
Took my mac into the apple store and came to the conclusion it was the software, so I asked them to install 10.8 onto it (this is destructive so a backup is a must)
Bought my macbook home and voila, now displaying through my projector.
There is a small graphics update after 10.8.1 which seems to be the cause.

All,
I thought it may be related to spaces in the path in which the script was called from. I tried having the ODBC command script in another directory but the same thing happens. It will give me the "CONFIGSYSDSN: Unable to create a data source for the 'Oracle in OraClient10g_home1' driver: Could not load the setup or translator library with error code -2147467259". As soon as the script is done running I can manually double click the script and it adds the DSN fine.

It doesn't affect the battery. You can use your MacBook Pro plugged in all the time without damaging the battery. You only have to be sure that you unplug it and run a battery cycle (drain the battery without letting the Mac turn off and charge it fully) at least once a month to keep the battery life.

My isight built in camera is only turning on for few second on my MacBook Pro (13-inch, Late 2011 with osx Yosemite) when I use any camera needed app. Please help me. Its getting a little annoying.
If restarting Mac or reinstalling OS X does not correct this symptom, you likely have a hardware problem. Contact Apple Support or an Apple Authorized Service Provider for service.

Please help. I have tried lot may settings but problem is not solve
the fan should be on whenever your mac is turned on. Mine is at about 2000 rpm at idle. And the display light, or slep light indicator will only flash when your mac is in sleep mode.

Mac OS X 10.7.5 Everytime I click on an icon the computer takes about 1-2 minutes to run the command. Checked the activity monitor and nothing seems to be taking up a bunch of memory. This is my first Mac and I am lost at this point. I got rid of my PC beause of problems like this.
Can you tell us how much RAM (Memory) you have? It's listed by clicking on the in your title bar....go to About This Mac and it's in the 1st window.
We would also like to know what size hard drive you have and how much free space is on it.
If you click on your Hard drive icon (should be upper right hand corner of your screen), or the Finder in your Dock...when the window opens it says at the bottom how much Free Space you have on your drive.
If you go to the , click on About This Mac, click on More Info... in that window. The next window says how big your hard drive is under Hardware....click on Serial-ATA.....look under Capacity:
We need to know this cause if a hard drive is too full it slows things down and creates operational difficulties.

How do I upgrade (via Apple) SSD (to 500 GB or 1 TB) on Macbook Pro Retina 13-inch, Late 2012.
I want to know how much Apple will charge for this (if they even do this since I don't see it on their website).Apple does not upgrade parts of a machine - they'll have it repaired under warranty, but no upgrades. You can, however, take it to an authorized service provider; no idea how much they would charge.

I bought one of their SSDs and installed it in my 2012 MBP (not retina) - very easy to do. If you want to go this way, post back for instructions on how to clone your current drive which will make things super easy. -
I want to update the OS of the Macbook Pro I bought today to Lion, but at "purchase date" I can only choose 2011. Now what?
Sorry but I don't completely understand your question or what you are trying to do.
If you purchase a new MBP Today, Jan 3 2012, it should already have OS X Lion 10.7.x installed on it.
Only some left over early 2011 model that stores may have had sitting around would of come with Snow Leopard 10.6.8. Or even if you bought a Reburbished model from Apple it would of still came from them with Lion.
So my questions are.
1) Did you buy this new from a authorized Apple store or reseller?
2) If not new was it purchased from an authorized Apple store or reseller?
3) To my knowledge when trying to do updates to the OS there is no check of purchase date. So what exactly are you doing that asks for a purchase date?
If new then just use the Software Updates in the Apple Logo menu item.
If not new and it originally came with Snow Leopard or Leopard you will have to buy OS X Lion at the Online Apple Store. If that is the case then nyou need to put in the original date the unit was purchased NEW and or manufactured. That way the Online Apple Store can tell if Lion will function on that model properly. -
