I have had it for 2 weeks now, got it brand new at the apple store, it freezes all the time, and reboots itself, sometimes when i start it, purple dots cover the screen and i have to hold the power button. a 2 week old computer is not supposed to do this! it wastes all its time being so flashy that it just craps out all the time. sometimes i feel like i should have stayed with my virus covered PC. at least when it shut down randomly you could turn it back on, but with the macbook pro, it just keeps restarting itself over and over. need help with this, any answers?

Here's a novel thought. Take it back to the vendor. Should have done that one week ago.

All I had to do was complain. I synced my iPhone to the Windows machine, checked the other account at iTunes prompting (where no apps had shown up previously), reconnected the iPad, and 140 apps downloaded including the App Store. I have no idea why.

You need OS X 10.8 mountain lion, mirror is a feature of that OS and you need to buy it from the app store, OS X 10.7.5 does not do it.
If you don't want to change visit www.airparrot.com a third party app that can do it.

Using the same Apple id and Password you should be able to download purchased apps without being charged again.
I download to an iPad/iPad2/iPhone3 & iPhone4 with no problem.

The music sync is one way - computer to ipod. The exception is itunes purchases. You can transfer itunes purchases from ipod to itunes: File>Transfer Purchases

I have a Macbook Pro Early 2011 from the USA. It is now running Mavericks. I connect it to a 27" Cinema Display that I bought in China after we moved to China. Before I installed Mavericks, I could run all of the Adobe CS6 and Adobe CS5.5 applications on my Macbook Pro while connected to the cinema display. Now that I have Mavericks installed, whenever I am connected to my 27" CInema display my Adobe applications crash upon opening. I know this is a rare scenario, but does anyone have any ideas how to fix this problem? Is there a new driver that needs installed? I'd appreciate any help.

I am also having a similar issue. I used Adobe Lightroom and my whole display goes black. Even my laptop screen and the lights on the keyboard go black. I can still hear the fan running, so I assume it is just the display. This is my first Mac and I have had nothing but issues. I think I am going back to Windows after this.

I would try Linc's suggestion and in addition, try zapping your PRAM. I had all sorts of erratic power management issues with my MBP when I first got it, including the keyboard backlight and screen dimming in the middle of a session for no reason. The only thing that corrected it was resetting the PRAM. Details here

Im sure this is a complette mystery and has never ever edver happened to anyone else. But when i start firefox it appears on my screen and then disappears. Why am i the first person these bugs always occur to?

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Not used my G5 Powermac (late 2004) for ages. Only boots in with Installation disk, but colour dots on white screen and message comes up to reboot machine. Nothing happens.

For a start, the PRAM battery is likely dead. PRAM tells the computer which drive to start with, other basic information. Still, you can usually get the computer to start, though bad PRAM is unpredictable and could be stopping that.
Some computer models use software to control cooling fans. If there's no software commands they automatically go into high speed to prevent overheating. Your software obviously isn't loading, so runaway fans.

Hi! I bought a 13-inch MacBook pro late 2011 model just a week ago, on 05 June 2012, from an apple premium reseller. I have hardly used it. Now apple announced their new MacBook pro line yesterday. I went to the reseller today to know whether they would give me a 2012- model MacBook in exchange for the one I bought yesterday. They said no. They said they can only give me a new MacBook if the one I bought has manufacturing defects and if I bring it to them within 10 days of my purchase. Is the reseller following the rules of apple? Can I force them to change my machine for the new one? Pls answer me. I badly need it. Pls support your statements with relevant official links.
