My MacBook Pro's screen had just gone white while working.Can someone help me out?
I am Using a MacBook Pro 13", While i was working my scree has just gone white. I tried restarting my MacBook. But still the screen is just showing a white color. Can someone help me out?

Apple Stores are not the only place to have Macs repaired. You can take your comp to your local AASP. First you should call AppleCare like the previous poster stated.

Sometimes you have to reset the SMC two or three times for it to work, don't know why. I've seen that error message before and 100% of the time it was fixed with an SMC reset. I suppose it's possible that your keyboard or mouse IS drawing too much power, do you have access to another you could try?

my MacBook desktop wallpaper has dissapeared and now its just a blue screen? and my toolbar at the bottom of the screen has dissapeared as well. Please can someone help !!?
Try restarting your Mac.
If that doesn't help, open a Finder window. Select your Home folder (it has a small house icon) in the Sidebar on the left.
Now open the Library folder then the Prefernces folder.
Move the com.apple.desktop.plist file to the Trash. Restart your Mac one more time. -
I tried to erase and reset my iphone4 but its more than 8 hours just hanging, nothing is happening, can someone help please?
unplug the iphone from you computer.
quit itunes.
re-open itunes.
connect iphone
quickly begin to hold down both home button and sleep/wake for around 7/8 seconds.
as soon as the iphone screen goes black release finger from sleep/wake button but continue to hold home button.
an apple logo should appear on the iphone screen
continue to hold down home button
itunes should now let you know it has detected a phone in recovery mode.
choose to restore iphone.
once completed restore from back up if desired. -
my iphone 4 is frozen on the slide to unlock screen. ive tried the sleep/awake button home button but it doesnt work can someone help me
By the slide to unlock screen, are you talking about the slider at the bottom of the screen after taking out of sleep mode?
And by trying the sleep/wake button and home button, are you talking about a reboot by holding both the power/sleep button and the home button until the apple logo appears and it reboots? And that does not help release the issue with the slider?
Are you sure the iPhone is well charged?
If none if this helps, have you tried syncing/backing up to a compter and then restore by iTunes on a computer?
If you cannot do any of this it would be good to schedule a visit to an Apple store genius bar and have the techs try their hand and diagnostics. -

Note the date and time the problem occurred, then go to Applications/Utilities/Console and copy the log starting at the time of the crash. Paste the log in a reply. Please do not use a screen shot as they can be hard to read. If there are repeated runs of the same messages, please post only one run. Be selective about what you post and don’t post huge amounts. All of my music has suddenly been erased!!!!! I've had this IPod for 7 years with thousands of songs, videos, and movies on it and they are all gone!!!!! Can someone help me!?!?
Not much help here, but just wanted to say i'm in the same exact position ever since I updated to the latest version of iTunes (thanks for pestering me so much that I finally did it and mucked up my iPod!)...I've restored my iPod, lost 7 years worth of music (around 9,000 songs) and have been slowly re-adding them all, and then randomly getting to a point where I eject my iPod (when it had music on it before I put it in) and it tells me that there is no music on it. I put it back in iTunes, it takes a while to load, but it shows the music there, however, again, when I eject, no music. Something's definitely messed up with this new iTunes...

HT1766 My Iphone screen is frozen as "Restore Failed. Can someone help?
I just receive a company issued Iphone 5. I wanted to download music from my wifes MacBook through our iTunes files. So I connected the devise to the MacBook. I can't remember all the steps but it started to Restore my device idicating it was restoring my wife's Iphone. I paniced thinking that my company phone would can restored with my wifes stuff so I unplugged it from the MacBook. Now the phone screed is frozen at "Restore failed" and I don't know what to do. Can someone help me to get the phone to work.

If the iPhone was disconnected while it was going through a process, you may need to put it in recovery mode and restore it. If you have a backup of your phone on the iCloud, or iTunes on the computer for that matter, after the restore you will be presented with the set-up screens and will have the option to restore from an iCloud or iTunes backup to bring all of your data back. The following article has the steps for putting the iPhone into recovery mode and restoring.

Use recovery mode
Recovery mode erases your device and restores it, which should resolve the issue. If you previously synced with iTunes or iCloud, you may be able to restore from your backup after recovery.

just installed the new update 10.5.2 and now my itunes wont access the itunes store. can any1 help me out?
I have had this same problem since uprading to 10.5.1. I just checked 10.5.2 and it's still broken.
Are you behind a proxy server that requires authenication? I am and I was fine with 10.5.1 until I had to change my proxy server password.
Previous versions of iTunes used to prompt for new proxy credentials but the 10.5.x versions don't. -
MacBook Pro Retina screen cracked on it own while I was watching youtube.
I purchased it on April 2014 from Executive Machines Dhaka, Gulshan Branch. Everything was working fine until 23 feb 2015. While me and my family were watching a youtube video on it, the screen started to crack from upper left side of the side. we all watched how the screen cracked from left to middle to the right.
We all were in shock! In my entire life I have never seen such things. A screen cracked by it self!!! Anyway after that not the 24 feb, I went to dealer as I had free service of one year left. The guys at Executive Machines were shocked as well and said they never seen such things before and they will send the Mac to Singapore to get it checked. So did the paper work and left it with them. 3 weeks later, they notified me that Apple said NO!!
So the fact here is, I didn't drop it nor damaged it in other means. 5 people in the house watched the whole thing live!!! If it was done me then there must have been damage marks, when I mac is fully fresh!!!! the saddest thing when I collected the Mac from Executive machines the screen started having black marks on the upper and lower side of the screen.
This is the most shocking thing that ever happened in Tech using history and I keep wondering who's fault was it!!! Executive Machines received a mac with a mark on the screen and returned me with black marks and ''they said'' Apple said NO!!
I tried to upload photos from 23 feb but something was wrong!!

I need to restore my photos from my Apple TV hard drive to my MacBook Pro, which I put a new hard drive into. Also, would like to share them with my iPad Mini.
I assume this is a 1st gen device. It is not meant to be used as a storage device and I don't think there is an easy way to get them off

Reason for Macbook Pro super slow download speeds, when all other Apple devices in the house are downloading correctly. I am not attempting to use multiple devices at the same time. What could be the problem with the Macbook Pro?

This is an error reported by the optical drive's firmware. The tracking servo is the servomechanism which guides the laser pickup along the track on the optical disc. The error means that the servo couldn't do its job within the programmed parameters. What it doesn't say is why.
You have to be very precise as to when this error occurs. If it occurs as you wrote, while it "starts preparing to write the disc", and not when it has actually began to burn, then it's likely that the drive has gone bad and needs to be replaced.
There are other possibilities, so you should check them, but they would be more likely if the error occurred after the drive began to write. OrangeMarlin has suggested two options -- try a different brand of CD or DVD, and try cleaning the lens. -

are the horizontal lines purple and blue and splayed out like a spider web a bit? ........... that means the LCD is cracked and destroyed.
OK screenshot, means regardless of the LCD being cracked or not you have a damaged monitor feed cable or same at connection with the logic board.
MOVE THE MONITOR back and forth while on.......does it change at all?

The Apps are just confusing me a bit, can someone help?
There is 3 types of apps available; ones that work on iPhone, ones that work on iPad and ones that work on both. But the thing that is confusing me here is that when a developer makes an app for both devices I would have thought that they would make them under the same app, (like the ones that have a + next to them on the app store). But now I have found apps that are the same (one for iPad, one for iPhone), but don't come under the same app on the app store. Now this is what confuses me because as far as I understand if I want the same app for my iPhone and my iPad I will have to buy it twice, once on my iPhone and once on my iPad, even though it's the same app. Now maybe the developers do this on purpose to make more money, but it makes it more difficult for me to organise my apps on iTunes because I would have 2 of the same app and I would have to organise it so the right app syncs with the iPad and the right app syncs with the iPhone.

Mostly, though, I think developers just use the abbreviation to distinguish an iPad app from an iPhone/iPod app. In reality everything on an iPad is "HD" if you think about it. Nothing like a little marketing hype, though.
The iPad's display resolution apparently conforms with the HD resolution on a TV when displaying 480p. Of course that's not as high a resolution as what many TVs can display for HD. From what I've read to display 720p or 1080p you require a higher resolution than can be provided by the iPad. I think for 720p you need a screen resolution of 1368 x 768 and for 1080p you need 1920 x 1080. iPads are 1024 x 640.
