My Macbook Pro trash won't empty the last 200 files

I consistantly cannot fully empty the trash file on my Macbook Pro. Running 10.6.8. No message is given, it just stops emptying at around 200 files. Files are not locked.

Yes, I can finally find my files. Usually, when I plug in the recorder, the IC_RECORDER icon will come up on the desktop and then when I click on it, it'll show some folders and one of those folders will contain the audio files, so I don't have to find them manually in the Finder Window. Is there anything I could do to fix this and make it like how it used to be?
What OS would you recommend me to use?

Your best bet for a power adapter is to get one from Apple. Third-party adapters just don't seem to be reliable (or safe). You can also buy a replacement battery directly from Apple, of course, but they're a bit more expensive.

My MacBook Pro A1278 won't charge the battery.

The battery is in good condition and it will charge in another laptop and run the pro with no problems. The charger shows a very faint green light. I replaced the DC-in board and no luck. Same problem. The pro will not power up with the charger alone and no battery. I've also tried different chargers and SMC reset. Any suggestions, or does it sound like it may be the logic board? Thanks.

Trash won't delete the Unix Executable Files

i got this problem on my external hd but i ignored it but it showed on mac i should find somthing to delete those files
i got mountain lion .
most of the files where deleted or changed the file location and names
the methodes i tried
1- unlock .
2- restarted the computer and didn't work .
3- tried the option key whith empty trash button (secure empty trash) .
4- tried the terminal command sudo rm -ri ~/.Trash didn't work.
5- also another try in terminal and drop the files in the terminal and wright the password didn't work .
6- tried cocktail , trash it ,and onyx nothing worked .
please find me something ,apple created this osx they should find some way to fix it i don't know how ???
i read every discussion about trash and didn't find the answer there even for others.
FORCE empty the trash.

maybe they are scratch files the .mp4 i changed the video name and moved it to different location then the torrent i delete it and the container folder and emptied the trash .the new folder i made wrong and delete it after that and emptied the trash and thats it nothing happened when i restarted the computer i found the trash not empty i tried to empty it it refused and when i opened it the files "newfolder + .mp4" where made as unix files
i tried every way and nothing helped me .
i had this problem before but ignored it because it was on my external hard disk so ithougt the external is ntfs and may have some problem its ok ,most of the files there were copied more than once then i deleted one of them and this problem is shown up it didn't matter because it doesn't show when the hard pluged out.
by the way i tired to delete the files using the secure trash delete it showed me error code- 36.

My guess is that you are storing your files on the root level of your HD. If so, move the files in to your user folder and you shouldn't get password prompts.
Once you close a finder window you cannot continue that session. You can set the default location that a finder window opens however. Click on the finder, from the menubar select FInder/Preferences then click on the "General" tab. Where it says "New Finder windows open", you can select any folder on your drive as the default. My sggestion would be to set it to your User folder where you should be storing your files.

the battery won’t melt because of long connection to the AC charger, although that has the potential of reducing the battery’s life.
Do you have access to a second 60 W AC charger to test with your MacBook Pro, or access to a second 13-inch MacBook Pro against which your AC charger could be tested?

You put the internal drive in an enclosure. If you choose to keep the drive, you don't need to erase it.

I've had my MacBook Pro for 2 years now. Last night it suddenly kept glitching to a dark grey screen every now and then, then it would flash yellow / blue spots, and now it won't go past the grey screen even when I reboot it.
I don't think I can access my disk anymore as I've moved across countries since I've first gotten my laptop. it was working perfectly fine before it kept going to the dark grey screen with a little blue on the bottom.
If it helps, my camera light is still on, and it seems that my computer is working properly itself, but won't go past this grey screen.
I'm a college student and am really panicking about this - can anyone please tell me what to do?

In the link you posted it states that the Nikon 810 requires ACR 8.6 or newer.
Version of ACR are specific to versions of Photoshop. You cannot use 8.6 nor even 7.0.in CS5.
I believe that ACR 6.7 is the latest that will work with CS5, so make sure you have this installed and get rid of ACR 7.
Having 2 versions of ACR will cause problems.
You have already downloaded DNG Converter 8.7.1.
Have you double clicked the DMG file to allow you to install DNG Converter on your computer?
Be aware that DNG converter is a stand-along application and not a plug-in.
You need to open DNG converter at select the FOLDER that contain your .NEF files.
Don't open the folder and try to select individual files, it doesn't work that way.
After converting your D810 files to DNGs you can then open the DNGs in CS5
The problem is your camera didn't exist when CS5 & its version of ACR was developed.
i don't use Lightroom, but the list mentions Lightroom 5.6 as needed to open D819 so your 3.6 version of LR won't cut it.
