My Macbook pro won't let view any type of video online?

So I don't know much about the techical side of computers, so ill try and explain this as best I can. About 24hours ago my macbook pro stopped letting me into a program I use for University called Pebblepad (which is an online portfolio that I document my work in), I have since tried other sites such as youtube and other sites that have video footage on thier webpage such as facebook ect. and nothing I cannot view anything online.
I'm using Safari, also have firefox neither works, any suggestions?

Go to Adobe.com, download and install the latest Flash for Mac. I would also get Flip4Mac, and VLC Player.

Then reboot your iPad and see if that fixes it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

I had this same exact problem from a couple days ago and it was fixed this morning, I remembered reading this and HAD to come back and help you. I left my macbook on all night and let the battery completly die out, after that I recharged it and it was back to normall. I hope this works for you as well!

My MacBook Pro won't let me mount my external Hard Drive. Just trying to restore my iTunes library.

My MacBook Pro, less than a year old, started acting weird. I backed everything up, took it in to Best Buy, who sent it out to Apple Repair and they put in a new motherboard.
It's running on Mac OS X Version 10.7.4
Now I am trying to put everything back on the computer from my external Maxtor 80GB Hard Drive. MacBook Pro won't recognize the external drive.
I tried Disk Utility. I can see the external drive, and did a repair disk and verify disk. Several times. Each time it says "This partition map seems to be ok."
However, I am not able to mount it, as that option is greyed out and i can't select it.
Also, under the Icon for the external hard drive, it has the Macintosh HD Icon (essentially my computer). I tried to restore this way, didn't work.
I need this to mount, as it has all of my itunes stuff on it; dozens of my sons movies, and my entire iTunes library.
PLEASE HEEEEELP!! HOW CAN I MOUNT THIS EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE? Thank you in advance

Macbook Pro won't let me move files to HD without authentication. Also when I try to move files from the HD to the desk it just copies them.

My 2013 Macbook Pro running Mavericks 10.9.5 won't let me move files to the HD without authentication. So I have to keep putting my password in. Macbook Pro won't boot from any partition, at all

I tried updating an Early 2008 Intel-based Macbook pro to a clean install of Mavericks with a bootable USB drive, once in the startup manager, it would show the USB as an "EFI BOOT". and trying to access the EFI BOOT just gives me a prohibited sign
The boot copy of Mavericks was installed with Disk Utility, so it shouldn't have had any problems.
So I thought, "I'll completely erase the HD and try again". Did that, and still, "EFI BOOT".
Next thing I did was ditch the USB method, and go for brute force, booted the Mac in Target Disk Mode, and through firewire I was able to install Mavericks into the HD of that Mac, using my brother's Early 2008 intel-based Macbook pro. The clean install worked, it made the recovery partition with no problem. Next thing I know, upon booting the laptop, after restarting it from Target Disk Mode, the darn computer decides to give me the "no boot device found" dreaded Question-Mark-on-a-folder sign. So I restarted the thing to the Startup Manager, and both partitions showed up, I tried both partitions, and no luck, same Question Mark Sign-Thing, not even the recovery booted.
So on target disk mode again, I made 2 partitions, one with a bootable mavericks EDM, and the other one, free space, Mac OS Journaled, ready for the OS installation. So that it would install it by itself, to itself. Upon restarting and accessing the Startup Manager, the bootable partition I had created, was seen, but clicking on it would just give me the question mark.
I shrank the partition on the other macbook to make a bootable firewire device on the other mac, and that partition also said "EFI BOOT" when clicked on.
I burned a recovery DVD to boot from it, and it won't boot from it. Every time I try to boot from something, all I get is the question-mark-on-a-folder-sign.
I disassembled the laptop, got the HD out, tried installing straight into it via USB, and was not able to access it using an external HD case, the power light comes on, and right back off.
PRAM and SMC have been Reset.
any ideas?

When I removed it, it was to install mavericks into it, via usb, with the other macbook, through disk utility, but disk utility was unable to read it then.
And yes, I am able to boot from that HD, on the other macbook, either through firewire or USB... I've verified that it is working fine, no sounds, no clicks, no scratching noises.

Just got my Macbook pro yesterday, and its been letting me screenshot, Ive done the command plus shirt key plus the F3 key, it was working, and now whenever I do that it keeps dragging the page up, and I have no idea why? help would be much appreciated as I'm new to this thank you!

My Macbook pro won't connect to any other wifi except my home wifi.

Everywhere I go , my computer wont connect to any other wifi . I'm currently visiting a friend in Florida and I tried connecting to her wifi and it says it's connect but there is no internet connection . I know her router is fine because my iPhone is running off of it perfectly but it won't let me use internet on my Mac .

Macbook pro won't boot from any disk

I have a Macbook Pro 17" with 10.6.8 installed but won't bootup. It stays on the logo and spinning gear screen and won't proceed from there. I have tried to reboot from a Snow Leopard install disk but it won't recognize it and haven't been able to startup from another computer using firewire connection. I am so puzzled?

MacBook Pro won't boot in any mode

My MacBook Pro was working all fine and dandy until I left it for a week whilst on holiday and when I came back it wouldn't boot. It just sits on a blank grey screen after the apple logo and spinny loading circle. After some research I saw posts about starting the mac up in different modes. Safety mode- sits on a black screen, Recovery mode- sits on a grey screen. After no luck I saw about single user mode. Booted to that and used the fsck command and my hard drive was working fine which brings up the question could it be the logic board. I hope not as I only got this replacement around last December and my apple care has now run out.
Anyone have any ideas or have come across this before. Also I need to backup my files as I can't really afford to lose them, I have a external hd.

My Macbook Pro won´t boot from any source/device

Im having trouble by booting my Macbook Pro from any device. I can reach any BIOS screen were i am able to choose the startupdisk, and whatever I choose (Hard drive / Install OS X DVD disc / Other Hard disks / USB Flash with OSx running) the machine stays in the grey screen forever.
I also tried to install again the OS on the internal Hard Drive of my machine, from another working macbook in the firewire transfer mode on, and it resulted to be succesfull and i can run the OS on the injured macbook pro, from the other computer.
Any ideas what this could be?

which model MacBook Pro do you have? Do you have Mac OS X 10.6.0 installed on it? If not, which version of OS X is installed? Do you also have the grey DVD for it that holds its Apple Hardware Test?

My mid 2009 Macbook pro won't let up upgrade OS X software. stuck at 10.5.8

I just purchased a used Macbook Pro mid 2009 and i've been trying to install programs on it but its not allowing me due to it only being OS X 10.5.8
I've tried downloading the latest OS X but for some reason it doesn't let me run it. I've tried to download OS X 10.6 but still failed. can someone help me?

I have a Macbook Pro with Mac OS X 10.6.8 software.
When I attempt to update my computer I get this message:
When I attempt to update my flash a window pops up that tells me the image data is corrupted. A similar message happens when I attempt to download a trial version of photoshop. I am looking for some sort of direction to go in to fix this problem. Sorry if this has already been posted, I didn't find much when searching.
I should also probably note that I attempted to restart my computer and run hardware testing. I did it and it said there were no problems

Try two things just to make certain that there are no problems with your hard drive. Do you have your original install disc that came with your Mac? If so boot from it and run Disk Utility to both verify and repair permissions. Then verify your hard drive - if errors are found, repair them.
Note that this may not fix your problem, but it will eliminate a corrupt disk.

My Macbook Pro won't let me use my external hard drive anymore, Help!

Every time I go to time machine it has my internal hard drive as the back up drive, when it should be my external hard drive. When I tried to select my external hard drive it doesn't do anything, it goes right back to the internal hard drive. Time machine and my external hard drive had worked the night before and I havent had any problems backing it up until I loaded Mountain Lion. I dont know if that could be one of the reasons or not. Also the hard drive is almost full, however I thought that this couldn't be the problem because I have it set to automatically delete stuff when full. Also the ownership is not set and I can't enable it. I have looked around and there is not an "ignore ownership" box to check from get info... I am lost and somewhat new to macs so any help would be appreciated.

if she's not the only person with Mac and this problem - go to school network administrator, something wrong.
If there are other people with macs and without this problem - compare network settings.
Also disabling 'Stealth mode' can help sometimes.
