My macbook wi-fi has stopped working altogether. What can I do to remedy this?
My Macbook wi-fi has stopped working completly. It was not a matter of the wi-fi being off and on but rather when it failed, it failed and never worked again.
Has anyone experienced this happening and what are the remeddies to the problem?
You should check if this is a hardware problem. In OS 10.9.2 you can do this:
Apple menu / About This Mac / More Info / Overview / System Report.
(note the details of this path are different in other versions of Mac OS X.)
Under Network in the left column, select Wi-fi. If your hardware has failed, the right side will say something to the effect of no device detected.
If the hardware has failed you will have to open the Macbook and replace the card - assuming your MB model allows that. If the hardware is detected, there are steps you can try, but they depend on details about your computer that you have not provided.
If you follow up with another post, please tell us what version of Mac OS X you are running, and the Model Identifier of the Macbook.

I use windows vista and I have upgraded my itunes. Now when I open it, it gives me a message saying "itunes has stopped working" and then gives me a message saying it will notify me for a solution. What can I do to fix this so it can open and not give me any more problems???
First you can try;
Try restarting PC and run itunes again!
If error again than perform clean instal of itunes (uninstal first and than instal again)! -
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the most current edition of Adobe Reader (11.9), including the patch. When I open a PDF file, the screen is first grey, then viewable, but then the message "Adobe Reader has stopped working" comes up. How do I remedy this?

One thing often tried first is to create a new document and File>Place the corrupted one to see how much may be rescued that way (remember to tick Paste remembers Layers in the Layer palette flyout/dropdown first, and to untick it afterwards).

Failing a full recovery, hopefully you have one or more earlier versions and/or bits of artwork saved before it happened. -
My charger has stopped working. What can I do besides buy a new one?
I have had my MacBook Pro since June of 2011. A week ago, my charger stopped working. I don't want to have to buy a new one if I can do something to fix it.
They are not repairable so you need to buy a new one. Between 4 and 5 years is a pretty good usage from a charger. Try to buy an Apple certified one as many here have had issues with cheap third party chargers.

iTunes crashes when I click the iTunes Store block. What can I do to get the iTunes Store to open on my computer running Window 7 (all updates installed)? It used to work last fall but some update must have reset something or the newer version of iTunes omitted something that would allow access to the Store from a PC.

Hello tmsipos11! That certainly sounds like an aggravating thing to occur! At this point, I recommend making sure that your iPhone 4s has the most recent software. The next upgrade is available now! If you've done so and yet still have this problem, please let me know!

Satellite 1130-Z24,system has stopped working altogether

My system has stopped working altogether, since it was dropped, only from a small distance though. When connected to AC power, the light work, so I suspect power is getting to it, and I suspect I have damaged either the motherboard or power supply, but I am hoping something simple. Has anybody any manuals showing how to dismantle the satellite 1130, or any other suggestions.

Unfortunately there is no official document how to disassemble/assemble your Satellite. In my opinion the best solution is to contact service partner in your country.
I am pretty sure that they can help you. Who knows which hardware part is damaged.

Firefox has stopped working altogether (Windows 7). It will NOT start. The spinning start up graphic will spin for a moment, and quit. FIX:
1. You need Time Machine
2. Go to folder /Library/CoreMediaIO/Plug-Ins/DAL/
3. Copy AppleCamera.plugin to good place (usb memory stick is the best place).
4. Go to Time machine in date that skype work fine.
5. Change AppleCamera.plugin with file from Time Machine
6. Restart system, Now skype need to work with camera.

Worked fine prior to mavricks update.
I have read where others have had this issue, the general response has been that they have had no support from adobe in resolving the problem. One guy said he managed to get issued a new download of the softwear that works fine with mavricks.
so there is a fix avalible but for some reason its not been a general update for all customers with premier elements 11?
