My Mail app has disappeared from my ipod
Whilst reorganising my apps in my ipod touch the mail app has disappeared.Anyone know how to retrieve it?
Perhaps you have dropped it into a folder, together with another App. Check the App icons. Look for one that is a dark square with tiny (tiny) icons in the square. Tap it and it should expand to show you all the Apps in the folder.
You can drag it out of the folder if you wish and set it on the Home Page.

You'll need to switch off iTunes Match on the device & sync the iPod with iTunes as hopefully you've kept all your music on your PC.

The YouTube app is not included in iOS 6. You will either need to try one of the YouTube apps from the store (there is an iPhone optimised app from google, and other people have said that they are working on an iPad version and there is Jasmine), or try accessing the mobile version via Safari : http://m.youtube.com (you can create a home screen shortcut for the site)

I got a software update message this morning and clicked install and restart. Now my e-mail icon has disappeared from the dashboard. How do I get it back?
Don't recall the exact wording. But it is the same in appearance as others. Anyway, problem solved using RogerWilmut1 reply to someone else. I opened Applications and got the icon back. Thanks for responding.

If you can't find them on any of your homescreens or app folders, and you can't find them via the spotlight search screen, then are they hidden by Settings > General > Restrictions > Installing Apps and iTunes being set 'off' ?

The Messages app is part of the iOS operating system on your iPhone, so it can't be deleted. That's the good news. So, it may have been moved to a different home screen. You can use the Spotlight feature to search for the app on your iPhone. Here's how:

Suddenly the setings app has disappeared from my iphone. How do I get it back? I tried resetting the phone to factory settings but that did not help.
It's not possible to delete it. Try resetting the home page layout. It has to have been moved to another page or a folder... oh, wait. you can't reset the home page layout without getting to it.
Go to the search page (press the home button once when on the first screen or swipe right from the home screen and type settings. Provided you have not turned off application search results in spotlight settings, you should be able to get to it from there. -

Any ideas how I can solve this?From you home screen, swipe down on the middle of the screen in order to get the Spotlight Search feature to appear at the top. Type in the name of the app. If the app appears in the search - tap on it and it should launch. After it launches, double tap the home button and close it. This explains how to close it.

After you close tha app, see if it shows up on one of your screens. If it still doesn't appear, reboot your iPad and then see if it shows up.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Can you delete videos from itunes? it's just stupid if you can't.
