My mail contacts list keeps disappearing and have to reboot to get it back.

My email contact lists keeps disappearing when I go to another page like Face Book. When I come back to my mail my contact list is gone. Then I have to sign and out and sign back in again to get the list. What's wrong here?

From an earlier post:
Start playing a song, any song.
Tap on the album artwork area for the song playing to bring up the scrubber for the song.
The shuffle icon/selection is located at the right of the scrubber, and the repeat icon/selection is located at the left of the scrubber. If repeat is on, the color of the icon will be blue. Select the icon until the color of the icon is white, which means repeat is off.

I have a Macbook Pro 17" I never once had this happen to me before the 2nd time I had to download Lion. So I had Snow Leopard never a issue, then upgraded to Lion no issuses for MONTHS. I had a Motherboard replaced and they replaced my OS to snow leopard and i upgraded it to Lion. Then it started, once then twice then 3x with in 20 min. my wireless shut off. Then it stayed on all night no problem. I week goes by it starts up again and stops again. Then i went to the genuis bar again and they checked it out left it over night didnt happen to them at all they said so I took it home. Happened to me the first 10 minutes i had it up!!! Happened a few more times that night but then it stopped that was a month ago. Then yesterday it happened again only extremely agressive every few minutes all day and night i was re booting my laptop to get my wireless to work. So I downgraded my software to snow leopard. Well hours into it BAM nothing im all smiles and happy................................until is dropped AGAIN just a couple of minutes ago. As I look this issue up there seems to be a TON of users out there with this EXACT problem and yet not a single fix. Some get it fixed by changing something and yet it doesnt work for others its insane. We spend all this money on our Mac's and when we call or go in we are told we are nuts that there is nothing wrong with them. So please PLEASEif you have a fix share it here

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

I open a file - playback - the audio is there - doesn't appear in timeline, but I hear it, after 1 edit, the audio disappears. I have to reboot to get it back then it happens again. All suggeswtions welcome. Thank you, Randy

Is your Premiere Elements 12/12.1 running on a Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit computer or a Mac computer?
What is the brand/model/settings of the camera recording your video?

Are you sure about the Frame Width and Frame Height that you gave 720 x 484? Did you mean 720 x 480?

For the Frame Rate, was it really 29.97 frames per second and you rounded it off to 29 frames per second? Or,
is the frame rate really 29 frames per second?
If the properties that you just posted are representative of your source file, what project preset did you or the
project set for the project preset? If you are not sure, please tell us the readings for Editing Mode, Timebase, Frame Size,
and Pixel Aspect Ratio under Edit Menu/Project Settings/General.
Still having problems - haven't been able to edit project.

Itunes keeps freezing and have to reboot

HI All,
I hope someone can help me.
I recently moved all my music from my iMac over to an external HD as my computer was full. Everything in iTunes was working fine and the music and videos and everything is back on iTunes and playing from my external HD.
Problem is, now every time I open iTunes after about 25 minutes I get the spinning wheel and I have to go and "Force Quit" then I cant open it again and i have to reboot my iMac so I can get my iTunes open again...
I have tried downloading iTunes again to see if maybe installing it over the top of the current version might overwrite or fix the problem as read that it worked for someone else in another thread.
Any feedback, advice or support here people??

Can someone tell me if iCloud keeps a backup copy of contacts and how I can retrieve ?

I don't think a backup includes the contacts, since they should already be stored in the contacts database on icloud's servers. For example, if you wipe a device clean, then connect it to icloud and turn on contacts, the ones on icloud will come back. No restore is needed. In your case, I fear the contacts are gone.
Be sure to get your daughter a new icloud ID, as you don't want her to share all the data you have on your device(s).

After reformatting my hard drive, I lost some of my apps and have to pay to get them back. What do I do?

My OS got corrupted, so I had to reformat my hard drive and in the process lose all the data on my hard drive. This includes apps that were included in my MacBook when I first got it such as Facetime, while others are at their pre-Yosemite versions. I can't reinstall them since I have to pay for them, while the other apps like iMovie and Garage Band can't be updated and also require payment. How do I get these apps back? When you first got your MacBook Pro, you should have agreed to accept the purchase to your Apple ID. Most of your apps that came from the Mac App Store can be downloaded again. To do that, open the Mac App Store and go to the Purchases tab and make sure that you are signed in. From there, you will see a list of apps that you can download again. If you still are not seeing, check to make sure that nothing is hidden.

I think I lost my whole system and have tried everything to get it back-NO LUCK HELP!

I turned the laptop on last night and it would let me log in but wouldn't bring up the desktop at all. I was able to restore it to an earlier date. Was using it just fine and everything crashed and stopped now I can start it but it won't boot into Windows and says the installlation for windows couldn't complete in order to install windows you must start installation over and when you say ok it restarts and does the same thing. I was able to figure out that esc takes me to the startup menu but no luck restoring anything or booting windows 8. Now what?

If you generate a new sync key then all data stored on the Sync server is reset, so you can't retrieve it anymore.

I lose bluetooth connectivity with lion on iMac 21.5. Have to reboot to get it to work again.

Since upgrading to Lion on my iMac 21.5", once a week I lose bluetooth connectivity and have to reboot to get my keyboard and mouse to work.

Backup up your data from both, and as long as you used Bootcamp to install the Windows partition you should be fine.
If you used another method, or have more partitons on the drive than Bootcamp, DON'T upgrade to Lion, unless your prepared to rebuild the entire drive, install Lion from boot DVD's you make from the installer and so forth.

Snow Leopard is stable, Lion has issues with older Mac hardware ranging from video to wifi to slow downs to radical UI changes.
With all the effort placed in setting up Windows and OS X, to do that all over again to take a chance that Lion won't work on your machine is a a lot of risk for little in return.
When Lion is stable then consider it, but right now it's not.

Why do my recent phone contacts keep disappearing and re-appearing?

Now, the contacts I add get saved, but they keep disappearing and re-appearing automatically. This has been happening for almost a month now.

So after the subscriptions disappeared yesterday, I resubscribed to Democracy Now! and Bill Moyers Journal.
This morning, I went to check iTunes... and two of the subscriptions were gone -- AGAIN! And the episode of Democracy Now! that remained behind was now listed under real Tim with Bill Maher.

There is a checkbox on the 'info' tab in iTunes that will allow you to overwrite the address book on the phone with the one from the computer on the next sync.
