This is how I fixed it on my new iPhone 5S. Using the standard yahoo setting on my phone.
You will have to access "managing your app passwords" on your account profile for yahoo. Generate password for your app. For example: "My iPhone 5S'
Go to your Iphone and set up your yahoo mail account on your phone the normal way and you have to use the generated password. instead of the yahoo account password.

iMessage and FaceTime went down yesterday for some people. Mine is still down. My iMessage is saying the same thing about being activated. Sounds like you are still down too. Ignore the status page that says everything is fine - it lies.

If they can't extract the SIM without opening the iPad (which no service center is authorized to do), and you can't manage to get it out yourself, then you'll probably have to pay Apple's out-of-warranty replacement price and get the iPad replaced. Use of a cut-down SIM is not covered under warranty.

I can't open delete or send e-mails from hotmail with firefox 11

my problem starts 3 days before i performe the update to FF11 so i can't open edit send or delete any e-mail from hotmail and still continues after the update to version 11 of FF. That issue happens only with FF on IE they work perfect. Any idea how to fix that problem on FF??

My mac mail is downloading over 100,000 emails from the server every time i click the icon. i can't receive the current emails

Was looking to see if anyone has a solution to stop mac mail from downloading over 100,000 emails each time i click on the mail icon. i can't get newer emails uploaded. Has anyone dealt with this and were you able to fix it?

I tried to download games and now the icons are stuck in waiting. I have an Ipad 2.

On my ipad2 I tried to download games from app store. The apps are stuck in waiting mode and not installing. I have downloaded other apps after this happened and the newer apps are working fine.

check your itunes download queue. I had 18 items stuck and it did not try to download anything before I cleared that. I had the same problem with apps stuck in waiting and had tried reboot and deleting the app and retry but what finally solved the issue was clearing the iTunes download queue.

Hi, tried the Apple fix, installing the OSX combo update followed by the Safari update followed by the security update, nothing.
Tried the thing where you toss the mail program in the trash and then install the security update, nothing.
Is there anyone else who has a problem even after all trhe fixes suggested here and in Apple support?

Seems like I have created a problem a free application was offered: Adobe Revel, installed it, now mail does not want to work properly. Shut down computer. Reset Safari. To no avail issues still prevailing. Any suggestions. Computer now running slower,

Have ICloud, and mobile me and on mobile me a pinwheel continues to spin without stopping. Have turned off computer. Reset Safari. Pulled up system preferences and clicked on mobile me to see if it would clear up and to no avail as I am still typing this the pinwheel is still spinning and has been all morning. I have Lion version 10.7.4 installed over 1.5 months ago and have never had any isssues.
Any suggestions

Hi Bill, this may be simpler to fix than it appears. You may have installed a Yahoo add-on which changed your home page. Could you try these two things:
(1) Disable or remove unwanted add-ons
If you do not recognize an extension on the following tab, or it's not essential (you could live without it for 24 hours), then go ahead and disable it:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions category
You probably will need to restart Firefox for the changes to take effect. If so, there will be a handy link above the disabled item to do that.
(2) Change your home page to the desired page

Can you get back to normal?
Some possible follow-up notes:
If you find that your search providers also were changed during this snafu, you can use the following add-on to quickly set them all back to Google:
