My iphone will not allow me to use Mail. It keeps saying to enter my password. I do so and then it goes to verify account. Then it tells me that "Yahoo! Serve Unavailable. Please try again later." What else can be done?

99.9% of the time, the cause of this issue is the fact the phone was jailbroken/hacked to unlock it for use on networks other than the network the phone was originally locked to. Apple maintains a database of officially unlocked iPhones, and when Apple's servers detect phones such as yours, activation stops & you get the message you got.
So, you need to get a sim card from the carrier the phone was originally locked to, or get it officially unlocked, if you want to activate it. Because it appears that it was not officially unlocked.
Apple has started to get "tough" with hacked iPhones, & simply won't permit their activation. -

My Iphone 4 isn't working, It got wet and now I have it in a bag of rice. I heard that I should not try to turn it on or mess with the power button, so I haven't. It makes sounds when I get a text message but the screen is blank., I have tried to contact apple support online and it tries to send my iphone a message, but because it doesnt work, I can't receive it, so if I decline the "health check" then it says that it's "unable to complete my request at this time. -ShannbudA wet phone is out of warranty. This is considered user damage. Even if you were able to get it to start now, the chances of it working for long are slim. I suggest going to Apple and see about an OOW replacement. One for the iPhone 4 is only $149USD and it would come with a short warranty. It is a refurbished device and you would not be worried about encountering additional problems.

If you try to have it repaired and it still doesn't work, you'll be out that money and still need to buy a replacement phone. Water damaged phones rarely work well again. I know you're looking for a lower cost option, but spending the money and getting a phone that works 100% seems to be the best option. It's your money and your choice, but I wouldn't try to fix a water damaged phone. Maybe that's just me.........

My new HK iPhone will not download apps purchased in U.S. and says I need an HK Apple ID. This creates a second Apple ID and I am concerned that I will have to pay twice for the same app.
Apps previously purchased will continue to operate wherever you are. However; you'll not be able to update them other than by using the original purchase details. What this means is that you can only 'purchase' from a country's store if you have a valid credit card and residence of and in that country.

Please can someone help. I keep on getting this when I try and buy a song or upgrade my iPhone aps. I have got the latest iTunes on my 15" MacBook Pro with OS X 10.8.5 (12F37). Last week I changed my password on //appleid.apple.com I could the access my account in iTunes. Unsure if this will help anyone but I had the same problem with the message always coming up when I tried to login: "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."
What I couldn't understand was that I could log into iTunes online, but not through the iTunes app, becoming very frustrated I went to drastic measures to get everything working again - although I found this post after I had success.
To add to the issue, my iPhone (4S - iOS7) was visible on iTunes (latest version), but some of my apps had failed to sync (showing grey on my iPhone and being unable to delete them), causing further issues and adding to my frustrations....which attributed to the drastic measures posted below.
(You may want to try following the above posts before following my method)

But if the above doesn't work for you then you can follow my method...in the end, I perfomed the following actions which did work:
1). Uninstalled iTunes from my computer (via Control Panel > Programs & Features)
2). Located the iTunes folder containing media, Previous Libraries etc (normally located under your Music folder) and simply moved it to my desktop. (can't afford to delete)
3). Downloaded iTunes.
4). Plugged my iPhone into my laptop and moved all contents across to my desktop (photo's).
5). Restored my iPhone erasing ALL data (extreme but desperate measures were required) - you may want to back it up, but I personally didn't have anything that I couldn't afford to loose on it.
6). Set-up my iPhone (set language etc...) including iCloud, but did not plug it into my laptop.
7). Chose the following iPhone settings>
> iCloud - Contacts turned off
> Mail, Contacts, Calendars - iCloud Contacts turned off (same end result)
> iTunes & App Store - made sure I was logged in via Apple ID.
7). Closed Outlook.
8). Re-installed iTunes, saving it on the C:> default location.
9). Followed the normal iTunes install prompts, setting it up as new. (making sure I had NO apps or music - clean slate)
10). Plugged my iPhone into my laptop, waiting for it to appear as it normally does.
11). Checked for iOS updates and iTunes updates (all good)
12). Checked Sync Contacts with Outlook (opening Outlook at the same time) - Calendars I left to the iCloud
13). APPLY....once sync finally completed (this time SUCCESSFUL) I was able to click iTunes Store and LOG IN.....finally!
I probably didn't have to perform all 13 steps, but that's exactly what I did to get everything working again!
There is probably someone out there who will be able to explain why I couldn't login to iTunes, why many of my apps didn't load onto my iPhone correctly, why everything failed to sync and probably able to shorten the above 13 steps to a quick fix.... but for now, everything is finally working and my 48hrs of frustration has come to an stress free end! -
FaceTime and iMessages have stopped working since i updated to 7.0.3, saying there is a network error and to try again later. Have tried reinstalling Find my iPhone to see if it works. It doesn't for me. The message says "FaceTime (iMessage) Activation: Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again". My network is perfectly alright as I keep buying on the App Store. can u please help out???

We have two Edge servers deployed at our Central location where it accepts mails from all other site and send it to Internet and vice versa. There is no problem for outgoing mails but while receiving the mails from the internet there is always an average
queue of 600 to 700 mails (some time goes up to 2000). After analysing the issue we found the below errors..
LED=451 4.7.0 Temporary server error. Please try again later. PRX6
451 4.4.0 SMTPSEND.SuspiciousRemoteServerError; remote server disconnected abruptly; retry will be delayed
421 4.4.2 Connection dropped due to TimedOut
We have then picked random 10/12 recipients from the error queue and found all of ‘em were
from a specific site.

Since it was more likely to be a DNS issue, tried manually adding DNS server IPs in the ‘Default front end receive connector’ properties.
Tried adding DNS server IPs manually into both Transport servers in ‘DNS Lookup’ setting in the server properties.
Tried adding local server's IP to the hosts file.
Checked if SMTP fixup is enabled on Firewall.
Verified the receive connector security settings.
Verified the CPU and Memory utilization is normal.
Disabled the Performance Counter on both Transport Server to ensure memory usage.
but nothing seems helping
now the problem is because of this there is a mail delay of at least 20 minutes for incoming mails.
Need help resolving the same.

after researching a lot on events on Transport servers we got to know that 'Default Frontend Receive Connector' was rejecting some messages...
we have then increased the value for the parameter "MaxInboundConnectionPerSource" from 20 to unlimited and
MaxInboundConnectionPercentagePerSource
from 2 to 10.. we have the waited for 2 to three hours .. the queue then came down from 1500 to 5 and petty stable thereafter.
we will be monitoring the same for few days from now.

Hi there I have been trying to help a friend work out why she hasn't been able to access itunes on her home computer for 3 months as it comes up with the following error "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later"

The account is active on my iphone so i know i am not locked out. I can connect the PC to my iphone so i know itunes is working ok. It is just logging into itunes on this pc which doesn't work. Only thing I can think of is that the email address I use for my apple id has been offline for a while and is working again now, I'm wondering whether this has been the case for others who are having this issue?

Hello I just purchased an iPhone 6 Plus today. I am unable to sync to my iTunes because it requires iTunes 11.4 or later. I am running 11.1.3. When I try to update this through the App Store I receive an error "The App Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."
This has been going on for several hours. I can see "Featured", "Top Charts", "Categories", "Purchases" but am unable to connect to the "Updates" section within App Store.
I am frustrated. It is just the update function of the store that does not connect.
And yes,my ID and Password are correct.

Can anyone help? I'm at the end of my Googling!The answer has been found. In our case, we had to disable the Mailguard feature of the Cisco ASA between the CAS subnet and the MBX subnet. Essentially it was stripping AUTH commands from the SMTP handshake which meant the servers could not authenticate
to each other and establish a secured connection.
I guess for future reference, if you're getting a PRX4 error code you should look at any device that could be inspecting SMTP between your CAS and MBX servers.

The store isn't unavailable, I can login via my iPhone and iPad but not via iTunes on my Windows PC. I've had this problem all weekend and still getting it today. I'm running the latest version of iTunes, I've uninstalled and reinstalled Safari as someone on another site suggested, no difference. I have all the latest Windows updates.
Lots of people seem to have had this problem in the past but I'm struggling to find a solution which worked for them.
Anyone have any ideas please?
