My maps didn't show the right current position

Is anyone can help me how to fix this?
I always get lost because the maps didn't show my current position. In fact the maps shows other location..

This is also happening to me, I have 3 friends at work and their Iphones show the right location anytime. Does anyone know if there's a way to calibrate the GPS? or should I get it replaced?

Ical update question show the right time in dock

Hey I read some where that apple had an update for ical that showed the right day and month in the dock instead of the july 17 date it has always had. I ran all my osx updates and the ical date is still july 17. Is ther something I have to do in order to get it to show the right date. I know when i have it open it has the right date. But I don't want to leave it open all day. Can anybody give me any info thanks

Unfortunately there is no such update.
I have placed iCal in my Login Items (System Preferences...>Accounts>My Account>Login Items>Hide [✓ ]).
iCal is always available for use and the date in the Dock is always correct. I can switch to iCal at any time and when I am done consulting iCal I use the (⌘+H) command to hide iCal without quitting. Leaving it open but hidden is the price you must pay to see the current day in the Dock.
You can submit OS X Feedback with your personal recommendation for your desired method of implementation.

The current Maps app in iOS 6 is from Apple. It is beta software with known issues. The previous Maps app in iOS was from Apple, but used Google as the map resource. There is now a new Maps app from Google available in the iTunes App Store.

Not show the right button in input field which data type is date

My web dynpro has a input field. This input field is mapped with a context attribute which type is datum.
This field is read only. I want that this field doesn't show the right button to choose the date.
How do I solve this?

Crystal didn't show the BEx query Attributes description changes/Values

We experiencing the BEx query attributes/crystal report issue.
I create a crystal report using BW- BEx query. Bex query displays the attributes values. But in crystal report side it didn;t show up the values as well as description changes.
But If I change the display properties of attributes (different from one attribute to another) the crystal report reflect the values. But crystal report didn't show the Attribute description changes , the one i did it in BEx query side.
Example:
Bex has a Masterdata as well as attribute Field1, Field2 etc.. I changed the description like Field_Test1 and Field_Test2. Also I changed the display property for Field_Test1 is Key and text and long , Field_Test2 is Text & LOng text.
I got the attribute values is crystal report Xi R2. But crystal didn't reflect the description changes?
Suggestions Please?

There is no in built GPS chip, so reliant solely upon network triangulation for location which may mean several km out.

You are using Snow Leopard so you have no OPTION+R shortcut. You need to boot the computer from your Snow Leopard DVD or USB flash drive.
Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive
1. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
2. Reinstall Snow Leopard
If the drive is OK then quit DU and return to the installer. Proceed with reinstalling OS X. Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files. After installing a fresh copy of OS X the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, support items, and network preferences into the newly installed system.
Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1.

HT2693 How come my apple map doesn't show the map on apple standard map.. However, it does work on google map. I was trying to close the apple maps, restart, and many other ways but still didn't work. Please help me.

A standard map on my iPhone 4s is suddenly not working. It shows the blue dot but it doesn't show the actual Map where I can see the streets.

Yes I worked previously but it's now not working. I did double click home botton and terminate the maps many time but still not working.
The standard maps just not show any route only the blue dot (my location.) I really don't know what to do. Btw, I used to live in SF but now I'm traveling to Thailand. One of my friend is using iPhone 4S as well but his maps is working. So I guess it is about its application on my phone...

Bug: JList does not always show the right selection

I have a JList (Navigator model!) on my form which contains the data of a certain view. The view consists of several attributes but the navigator model always only shows the value of one field. The field I have choosen hasn't an unique value but that's no problem for what I want to do with the JList.
When I select another row in the view object useing it's key the row is selected in the view object (which I can check looking at the primary key attribute of the currently selected row), but in the JList sometimes the wrong row is selected. I noticed that if there is another row with the same value for the visible attribute (in my case an attribute called "name") as the row which is selected in the view object sometimes this wrong row is selected in the JList. This occurs if the wrong row with the same visible value (name) is at a higher position in the list. So it looks like the BC4J framework checks what the value is of the visible attribute of the currently selected row in the view object and used this value to select the first row in the JList that has this value. This doesn't necessarily mean it's the right row!!!
E.g.
The initial view object:
PK | Name
1 | test
2 | another test <-- currently selected row
3 | test
The initial JList:
| test |
| another test | <-- currently selected row
| test |
Now I tell the view object that I want to select the row with primary key value "3".
Now my view object looks like this:
PK | Name
1 | test
2 | another test
3 | test <-- currently selected row
But my JList now looks like this:
| test | <-- currently selected row
| another test |
| test |

Well, how should the list resolve the difference between two "displayed values" that are same?Well, if I select a certain value in the list the connected record in the ViewObject is selected. In other words the JList seems to know enough about the ViewObject to select the correct record (it doesn't select the first record in the ViewObject with the display value!). So if "it" knows how to do it one way, why not the other way?When you select by index then the object corresponding to that index is selected and that means the right row (if you are able to figure out which row by simply having the knowledge of the row index though even though the displayed values are duplicate - but I won't say that's realistic). The other way, it only has a value - string that it has to match with a set of values in the list and that logic has no clues which of the "duplicate" entries would be the right one.
To resolve such conflicts you could add another "displayed attribute" in the list which is going to make the attribute-set unique in the list.I did do that already, but then my list becomes read-only (not selectable) because the attribute I added is a primary key attribute which is a DBSequence field what may not be changed once it has been inserted. The weird thing is, you can't change the value when you select it from the list, so why does it behave like this? (In other words why is a list with a read only display attribute also read only? because selecting something in a navigator list doesn't mean something get's changed in the selected attribute value!). I'd chase this one. This definitely sounds like a bug. Readonly-ness should not be derived from "displayed" attributes but "updateable" attributes.

A long left click shows the right click menu

When I hold down the left mouse button, the right click menu appears.
I want to turn off this function, but can't remember which extension controls it or whether the function is built in to Firefox.

JMS Bridges not showing the right status

I am using the weblogic 9.2 MP3 on production servers with around 300 managed servers in 7 clusters. There are around 1200 queues and 2500 JMS bridges connecting the queues to internal and external world.
The JMS bridges on my system doesn't reflect the right status. Sometimes, it shows INACTIVE/Failed status but still keep forwarding the messages.
Different bridge status and description that I can see:
Inactive     Stopped by the administrator.
Active     Forwarding messages.
Inactive     WARN: failed to connect to the target.
Active     Connected to the source.
Also,
I see lots of warnings in the logs as follows...

I have installed 10g in Win 2000. Enterprise manager
was working fine after installation. I restarted the
Oracle Service (DB Service, TNS, iSQL, DBControl)
from services in Control Panel. Database is up and
working fine but the Enterprise Manager is not
working. When I am trying to use the EM through
Internet Explorer, it is not asking for any login and
showing as database as down. I am able to connect to
DB from client PC. Please advice.
