My Maps in IOS 8.1.2 doesn't work.

I noticed that when I tried to access "Send My Current Location" in Messages" that I could no longer open the messages from the person I was messaging. Then I have an app called FlightRadar24 and it uses Maps and it won't open.... and finally I put 2 and 2 together.......I realized after I touched the icon for "MAPS" it begins to start and then immediately shuts down and returns to the original page of apps...HELP...Maps has a bug!! What can I do to fix this? I have done a reset with the Home button and the side Button, and the problem persists. Is someone from Apple going to fix this?? I also have GOOGLE MAPS.. Is Google Maps killing this app? Solutions anyone?? I can't open my daughters messages.

In what way? Your MyPhotoStream photos will show in in the Photos.app in the "Recently Added" album, but their is no longer a "My Photo Stream" album.
If you enabled "iCloud Photo Library Beta" in the "Video/Photos" Settings, disable it. This will prevent the Photo Stream from syncing from your Macs to the iOS 8 devices.

HT1338 ios 6 updated iphone doesn't work on my mac

I am currently using iphone 4 - recently upgraded to IOS 6,
and it doesn't work on my mac - a version of MAC OS X 10.5.8. - when it connects to itunes - which i have a latest version upgraded on my mac.
I tried to upgrade the Mac software of 10.6 and later versions to the latest versions, but i can't download them.
That's why I can't use itunes to upload the songs in my iphone, which is my biggest concern right at the moment.
Let me know how I can upload the songs in my iphone!

Try this and see if it helps.
Settings>Safari>Clear cookies and data.
Now close Safari completely. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then "swipe up" or "drag up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Either you have a 4S or you have iOS 7.x
But with that said
Can you please check Settings -- General -- Accessibility - scroll down to Interaction -- Call Audio Routing and see if Automatic is checked?

Assuming you have Messages on. You can try two things the first is a simpler than the second. Go to this site https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/, click on Manage your ID, log in and check if your Apple ID for your Messages and FaceTime apps is the the same as your primary email address. When I went there I saw a message that I should make them the same, for some reason they weren't, after I clicked on the submit to make them the same I haven't had any problem with either. Previously I kept getting signed out of both and had to constantly reenter my password to get them working. Quite a few times they wouldn't connect at all.
The second thing you can try is in Settings - General - Reset, and reset all settings. You will then have to reenter a lot of information such as account user names and passwords but this seemed to correct things for a lot of people. The first option is easier and worked for me so I'd give it a try.

Ios 8 icloud backup doesn't work

I've a problem with my iPad 2 and iOS 8.
When I try to make backup to iCloud, it doesn't work.
It takes hours and then stops, meanwhile my network upstream is at full capacity.
I haven't enabled iCloud Drive, because I use a Mac too.
Does iCloud Backup on iOS 8 doesn't work on the "old" iCloud?

just updated my 5s to 8.2 and neither iphone nor ipad are accepting the password.
i reset the password twice but nothing change.
i am not able to:
access App store
Access I-tunes
Access i-cloud
Buy from app store
or install from app store.
when i am triing to install a free aps it told me ottieni, then install when i press install it says ottieni again. bot on iphone and ipad2.

I'm having this same problem too. Worked fine prior to iOS update. I contacted Verizon this morning who advised that this is a known issue. They suggested I backup my device, and perform a factory data reset. When prompted to update to iOS 8 again, re-installation has been known to resolve the issue. With all the problems with iOS 8, camera, and overall device slowing, I might just wait for a follow on SW turn.

The iTunes-App still opens on my iPhone - however, there's no content to be seen - I cannot search or download any items - it just stays blank. When I connect my iPhone to my laptop and open iTunes, there's no problem at all - my iTunes database of the laptop recognises my iPhone, it can be synchronised etc. It is just the iTunes-App on my iPhone that doesn't work. Any ideas?

YIPPIEH: in another forum I found the solution for my problem:
* you need to go to settings -> Safari -> data protection & security/privacy -> block cookies
* here the setting MUST NOT BE PUT to "ALWAYS" - because then iTunes won't work. If you put the setting to "third parties" or "never" you shouldn't have problems with iTunes anymore.
Seems to be a minor bug - but a pretty annoying one...
