my MBP (OS X Lion 10.7.5) can't input chinese hand writing letter; it didn't response when I selected a letter from the trackpad!

Help! I want to upgrade to the new Mountain Lion OS but first need to upgrade rto 10.6.8. I'm currenty running 10.5.8. When i try the Software update from my desktop apple menu, it says i already have the most redent software. I tried downloading 10.6.8 but when i tried to run it said i first need 10.6, which i can't seem to find anywhere on the Apple site or internet. Any suggestions? Can i somehow not upgrade form 10.5.8 to 10.6 or higher?

How can I stop Firefox clicking when I select an option from a drop-down menu? It's bloody annoying.
When I select an option from the pull-down menus, or a link from right-clicking on the forward or back buttons, it makes a click sound. I'm using this on a machine that I use for recording and I don't want clicks on my soundtrack. How can I turn it off - I've looked through about:config and preferences but haven't seen any way to select or disable such a feature.

It could be a Ubuntu Studio sound preference. You may have to turn off mouse click sound effects in the system.

I think the only way to do that is to download an app, that lets you input pinyin for instance, then copy and paste from there. The last time I checked, there are 3 apps in the app world, all by the same person. I've no idea what the difference between them is.

My OS is Mac OS X 10.6.8.
At the JDK version 1.6.0_29, I can input Chinese friendly in Java Swing applications. But after 1.6.0_31, I can't do it anymore. The input methods can input Chinese in other non Java Swing applications so the problem must create by JDK or JRE's Swing part. What's the different between 1.6.0_29's Swing and 1.6.0_31's ? Why ? I have tried to change the keyboard layout from "en" to "cn", but it is still not work.
The input method coin on the righttop is right when I change the method.But it still output english even I use ibus-pinyin.There is not a box for my choosing chinese words.

How can I reset my security questions even when it doesn't give me the option to send the answers to my email??? I honestly dont even remember doing any security questions. This has just now become an issue since it has stop letting me purchases music on my Mac or IPhone.
To Reset Your Security Questions, You will need to call Apple (0800 048 0408) and Reset them, you'll need for verification access to the apple id web page (myappleid.apple.com) and it will ask for a temporary pin and also a iDevice on hand to recieve a code from Apple in order to reset your security questions

I have created a PDF form with multiple drop downs, all with the same drop down values. When I select a value from 1 of the drop down fields, it replicates in all of the others - which I do not want. Can I fix this?
I'm fairly new to this, but I think it has to do with the way you have the drop downs named. Did you copy one then keep pasting it in each field? If so, that is the problem. You should rename each one with a different number: Dropdown1, Dropdown2, etc. I think that might solve the issue.

I have two IPhones and one IPad all with the same Apple ID. I can call facetime between the two IPhones, but I cannot call the IPAD from either of the IPhones and when I call my IPhone from the IPad it rings my wife's IPhone after briefly calling mine.
Each device needs a separate address. Use an email address (gmail.com) on the iPad.

On my iPad Mini, when I delete an email from the inbox (and it goes into Trash), it immediately deletes that email from the server (ATT/Yahoo). I've called support for both ATT and Apple and can't find a way to have the emails remain on the server.
My husband and I share an email address and if he misses a day checking email on his notebook, he doesn't receive the items that I have sent to Trash on my iPad Mini.
Appreciate suggestions.
[The curious thing is, if I "move" the deleted emails from Trash on my iPad Mini into the Inbox, I can go to my notebook, open my online email and they are back in my ATT/Yahoo Inbox.]Is your Yahoo account set up as POP3 or IMAP?

When I download audio books from the library I can't find them in my itunes files. All of the chapters do not transfer to my itouch even though they all were downloaded.
I finally figured it out! On the book page of itunes I went to preferences and then import settings and changed the settings from aac to mp3 and when I went back to the page there was my itouch and clicked on it and then books and there were all my books and files! deleted 3 chapters that were greyed out and transfered them again and it worked. Thank you for your help.

Is the iPod still singed into the account isn Settings>iTunes and App Stores and SettingsZ>iCloudl? If it is then I would not be concerned.
