My MBP's got hiccups, but drank no w(h)ine

A strange hiccups sound comes out of my new MacBook Pro irregularly but it is not output by the speakers (I can hear it even when the sound settings are set to 'off'). The MBP has the hiccups running Mac OS as well as running Windows. The hiccups sound is like 'poc' and seems to be caused by a component located in the upper left corner of the MBP. The sound is not very loud, but loud enough to be irritating and annoying. Does anybody know?

Uhh uhh, that doesn't sound healthy. That's where the hard drive is. But before alarming you, perhaps you should call Applecare and discuss it with a technician.
