My Measurement & Automation can detect the keithley 2400, but the LabTracer doesn't work, why?
Just as I said in the subject. The Measurement & Automation can detect Keithley 2400. But when I use the LabTracer, it always shows "there was an error reported in the script engine. test aborted." What's wrong with it?

Havve you tried communicating with the instrument through MAX? If MAX is successful, then your GPIB drivers and hardware are fine. It is on Keilthley's software from there.

I have no sound in my computer, only with headphones, i tried the software update but it still doesn't work, and i have a red light on in my computer. How to resolve that ?
Plug and unlpug the headphone jack with some intention to get the mechanical switch to flip.
You can google for more intrusive methods.

Can't uninstall Adobe Air but Adobe Air doesn't work correctly
An external agency created a flash-application which should be installed to my computer with Adobe Air. By clicking the .Air-file the installation process of Adobe Air started but the installation of the flash-application failed. At least I uninstalled the flash-application by using the windows control panel but uninstalling Adobe Air by the control panel is impossible.
How to get Adobe Air fixed to install the urgently needed flash-application?

With Windows Fix It at least I was able to uninstall Adobe Air. After Reisnatllation of Air and my application the system is running quite wonderful.

If it's an Apple Certified Refurb from the online Apple Store, it has the same one-year warranty as a "new" nano.

The problem also seems to be connected to the errors of "keep me signed in" and "Log me on automatically each visit" not functioning. As my computer is a home computer and i am the only user, i was wondering if anyone out there has any solutions ?
Such details are stored in a cookie. If you want to prevent Google from redirecting you then you need to make an allow exception to keep that Google cookie.
Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions
Also make sure that you do not use [[Clear Recent History]] to clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences" -
Hi, I am pretty new to LabVIEW and right now I am just trying to set up a simple test (source current, measure voltage) using the Keithley 2400 and Labview 8.2
I got the driver for this instrument off of NI's website at

In the Measurement and Automator it sees the Keithley (GPIB0::14::INSTR) and I also gave it an alias so it is easier to find amungst the other hardware current set up.
I wrote a simple program using some of the VIs in the driver to source a current and read a voltage. When the program runs, it errors out, and then after it errors the keithley still runs the test. I can see the measurement on the front panel of the instrument however it does not send anything back to the computer.
I then tried to just run an example found in the driver and I get the exact same error.

Can you communicate with the Keithley 2400 in Measurement and Automation? Do you know if there is a query command for the instrument, if so can you test to see if you can query the instrument to make sure it is working.

Thanks restoring and restarting didn't fix my problem - i have started it fresh and still it doesn't work. Basically I press ONCE on the remote, after the machine has not had any commands for 10 minutes, and the cursor skips from one end of the menu to the other - so I can't choose network or update software etc - I sometimes manage to stop it randomly in the middle of the menu if I press on a command in the middle of the cursor skipping all the menu steps...not sure what the problem is but I have basically not used my brand new apple tv since I bought it for that reason! I should call Apple support I suppose! grrrr hate wasting time with stuff like this!

I have an iTunes gift card from a parent of my student. When I tried to scratch off the back for the redemption code, the code became unreadable. I tried to submit this problem on Apple's support website and the site asked for pictures of the card (front & back). I took pictures with my iPhone and when I tried to submit it, the website said it wasn't in the right format (my pictures were saved as JPEG files). I tried all of the file extensions acceptable by the website and none worked. I called customer support (real human) and she said that she could not nothing for me since the card was not purchased from iTunes store directly and it may have been from a retailer. So there was nothing Apple could do. I find that surprising since this card has Apple's brand on it and it was a legitimate iTunes card. I can even provide the serial number but the Apple customer support didn't want to hear it. She told me to submit the question as a product feedback via their website so I did and again, I got nothing in return.
I'd like to know if anyone can help me with this issue or if I will need to throw away this $25 gift card that would otherwise be very helpful for the students in my classroom?

PCWhen you tried to contact Support with the card's images how were you trying to do it, on your phone or a browser on your computer ? And have you tried a different browser to see if you get the same error message ?
As well as images of the card they might also want an image of its receipt.

When the message arrives, the message tone sound that many times. How this problem can be solved? I installed the new version, but the problem is not resolved, the future is to be taken into account in the new version of this?
I'm not sure I understand the question, is the message tone going more then once?
Turn off repeat message alert here:
settings > notifications > messages > repeat alert > never
Some people have found this does not stop the repeat miessage tone,

I just downloaded the updates and now my mail doesn't work. It says I now need a newer version of OS to allow I've to open my mail which I can't right now
What version of the OS X are you running? Go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac and report the Version back here.
