My menu bar is missing all of a sudden. How do I reinstall it? The one that has "File, Edit, View, Favorites, etc". Thank you.

The top bar is the one w/ refresh, X, home then the bar to type in websites. The menu bar used to be below that, now it's gone and I have a bar that says, "Most visited, Free Hotmail & Windows."
I had several sights saved in my favorites for my home based business and I can't get to them now. Thank you.

You see the orange (on Linux gray) Firefox button if the Menu Bar is hidden, so you need to hide the Menu bar via View > Toolbars, also accessible via Firefox > Options. 
If you need to access the hidden Menu bar then press F10 or hold down the Alt key to make the Menu Bar appear temporarily. 
You can place the Tab Bar on top.

Lately in Acrobat Pro Ver 9 for Win 7 the menu bar (File, Edit, View, Document etc) disappears when I move the window . . only happens when I have a pdf file open . . everything worked fine until a few days ago . . F9 fixes the problem until I move the window again . . I realize my version is old so I tried tried downloading XI reader and having the same issue . . any help would be appreciated

Check if you have multiple Java versions installed on your computer.

Also i would suggest uninstall security software and install it back.
Currently you may use F9 key to restore Menu bar.

The bar that says "File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, help" has disappeared and I would like it to appear all the time.

Near the top of the screen on the left side, the words "File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, help" does not appear consistently. Sometimes if I hit "alt" they will appear. I would like to keep those words to appear constantly. Let me know what I can do. Thanks

The file, edit, view, history, bookmarks, tools, help options on the menu bar will not open. This started to happen, intermittently, in the last few hours . . . and, now, seems permanent. I suspect an update. There are, also, other options which will not open. I cannot use my address book on webmail because of this and am in dire need of a solution.

Be careful with using the Firefox 4 beta version on your current Firefox 3.6 profile folder as it can modify (upgrade) files and make them incompatible with Firefox 3.6 or can otherwise cause problems at a later time.

My menu bar disappeared (maybe I pressed a wrong button before). In other words: I cannot select File, Bookmarks, options, Help etc. How can I reactivate the menu bar?

Why does the menu look grayed out? ("File, Edit, View, History" etc) It makes them look like they are not going to work. They don't turn black if I click on them either.

Normally, at least in most Windows programs, and I think other OSes too, items that can be used are black, and items in gray are inactive so that they are not available. It's disconcerting to see the menu in gray, even though they work.

Just got a nano. Wanted to take all my music from my computer that I had even before I had Itunes not all were bought from itunes. I loaded them into itunes and all of them won't transfer to nano only the ones that I brought from itunes. why not all?

I just purchased a Nano. I have a ton of music that I on my computer from before I had a nano and had a mp3 player. I never had a problem transferring that music before. So I didn't purchase them from Itunes. Now that I have a Nano I want to put all those songs on my nano. I also have a iphone that I did buy some songs so those will transfer on my nano. All of my music shows up in itunes but won't transfer to my nano. grrrr. Any thoughts?
