My messages are not consistently getting through

I've been using Mail as my email browser for over 5 or 6 years, with no problems... until recently. About 3 weeks ago, my ISP (Comcast) did some kind of upgrade or reset (who knows) to the neighborhood, and our modem didn't work right for a couple of days. Then it did, and I thought everything was back to normal... until I discovered, about a week later, that none of the emails I sent that week had gone through (I thought a LOT of people were ignoring me!). I called Comcast, and called my website host (gate.com - my email is through them, under my domain name), and basically went in circles until I figured out that my outgoing email had been using the smtp.comcast.net server, and Comcast didn't like that, and so wasn't sending it.
So, I changed the outgoing Mail server to smtp.gate.com, and resent all of those emails, and everything seemed to work (no one had gotten the previous ones, and they did get the new ones). Everything back to normal... except that there have been some persistent problems with sending to certain emails. It seems that I cannot get a message through to people with Earthlink, Yahoo, or Hotmail addresses. But they're not bouncing back to me (except for Hotmail) - they're just disappearing.
The Hotmail bounce back message, and another one that came back but is through a private domain (so I'm not sure of the host) seemed to have my IP listed as Spam for some reason! I am obviously not a Spammer, and I followed the directions on that Post Office error message to register myself (with spamblock.outblaze.com)... I also changed my email's password. That was all in the past half hour, so perhaps the update hasn't gone through with Outblaze yet, but I am really freaking out, because I know I have lost at least 2 clients by responding to their inquiry, but having the message never reach them... and that's a good percentage of my income.
I plan to call Apple, Comcast and Gate.com tomorrow (oh joy) but any information on what might be going on, and where else I can register my IP (however I find that) as NOT spam would be great. I don't know why it was marked as Spam, but it is making me very sad

Hi Chris. Thanks, for the suggestions re: my email issues. They were helpful and yes I did check all items you referenced. I even contacted Apple support and spent about 40 minutes on phone checking all settings. However, after all these efforts, my mail and calendar issues were not resolved. Apple Support finally recommended deleting the mail account and then reloading it - and it worked! I am now receiving my emails and calendar appts. in real time again.
Just wanted to share this in case anyone elest has a similar problem with mail/calendar after downloaing i.O.S. 8.1 onto iPhone 5.

Kindly suggest me what changes can be done so that PI messages will get archived from PI production server.

There's an article that Apple has acknowledged this issue. They recommend turning off imessages, reset all settings and then reactivate imessages.
If that doesn't work, you may just have to wait until they release an update, which should be pretty soon.

JSF: Error Message are not getting cleared

I am facing some problem with error messages in JSF.
Here is what I am doing
1. User submits a form, server validates and sends back the error to the client error message added to Faces Context.
2. User checks the messages, changes the input and submits. assuming everything is correct now.
3. On server, it validates and writes data to response for download using the following code.
FacesContext faces = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
    HttpServletResponse response = (HttpServletResponse)faces.getExternalContext().getResponse();
    DownloadResponse.sendDownload( response, is, fileName );
    faces.responseComplete();
}4. It shows the download popup to download the file. The problem here is that error message are not getting cleared off. User can still see the error message on the screen.
It seems I am missing something in JSF req-response life cycle. Anyone please point out the mistake.

The problem is that the view is not rerendered, which makes sense because you are not sending view content to the browser but your file.
Your real question probably is: how do I cause a file download and still rerender the view afterwards to show the results? Genius bar told me to erase the harddisk and install OSX Maverick again. This has not changed the problems with the system settings

You need to Repartition the drive as One partition which will erase all data from it and then reinstall OS X. then with the initial setup system you chose the language on the first screen that comes up. That sets the language for the whole system.
There is no other way of completely removing certain information created by a previous owner. this hold strue whether you are selling or give a Mac to someone.
To do the repartitioning you need to use the Online Internet Recovery system, if the Mac came with Lion 10.7 or above, or from the original system reinstall discs that came with it when it was new.

Welcome to the Verizon family, ivpacks! I regret to learn that your alarms didn't work. I also regret that there is a problem with the messages. Have you tried the alarm again? Does it still not work? For instance, just set the alarm for a couple of minutes away to ensure that the alarm goes off.
When you send a text, do you get an error? If you power the phone off/on, do the messages send? This particular issue is expecting a software update to resolve the issue with texts and picture messages.
I believe that you have chosen a great device, but keep in mind that there is a 14 day exchange period. If you exchange for the same make/model, you will not pay the restocking fee.

Any iPhone that lists the same email will receive the same texts. This has to be changed in order to stop receiving on all devices.

Alan, how you're doing?
You already know issue is not with the email account, since it's working on another devices.
Now you have to define whether it is a user specific or system wide issue.
Create another user account through system prefereces > users and groups. Try to set up account on the new test user.
If it works, get back to your main account, open mail application, go to menu > Window > open activity and connection doctor (Make sure you organize these tools in a way that allows you to see both mail windows and activity/ connection doctor... Now, try to send a test email and you will see where the issue is.
Then...
Go to mail preferences > select your email account > click the - button to remove it and + to readd account.
Fill your full name, email address and password. Now, hold down option key and press continue... Insert incoming and outgoing information.
Any doubts, feel free to ask.

PL/SQL log messages are not printing from Java concurrent program

Hi,
I have a strange issue while submitting the Java concurrent program through PL/SQL.
I have a PL/SQL concurrent program which will invoke the Java concurrent program inside the package by use of "FND_GLOBAL.SUBMIT_REQUEST". It worked and submitted successfully. From that Java concurrent program we are calling some other PL/SQL packages and printing some log messages over there. But problem here is the request is only printing the Java log messages in view log but not the PL/SQL log messages. But if I submit the Java concurrent program directly from SRS form at that it is printing both Java and PL/SQL log messages.
I am just wondering how the log messages has not printed. Please provide your inputs to solve this problem.

Problem in ABAP Proxy(sometimes XML Messages are not being created)

Hi,
I am trying to send the data from ECC to CRM when post goods issue is done for a delivery from ECC side. I called my proxy method in BADI : DELIVERY_PUBLISH.
And after calling the method, I used commit work also.
But the problem is, some times it is working fine. and some times the XML messages are not getting created. When I go in debug, looks everything is fine.
I am unable to understand why this inconsistency.
Could you please help me out, do I need to take any more precautions.

You mean you can't find any message in SXMB_MONI of your ECC or is it XI where you can't see message?
If you have not checked in SXMB_MONI of ECC then may be messages are created but they are going into error and that's why you are not able to see any message in XI.

Messages are not moving to Error Queue in OSB if Error is Raised

Hi All,
My OSB process is as below.
Queue1-->OSB-->Queue2.
OSB Proxy is listening to the Queue1.When messages comes to Queue1 Proxy will pick the message and after applying the business logic it will put the message to Queue2.
If OSB is not able to deliver the message succesfully to Queue2 then it should retry for 2 times.If retry exhausted then the message should move to the error Queue.
I have configured Queue 1 with delivery failure paramaters redelivery limit and redelivery delay.Also the Connection factory is XA enabled.Even if any error happens (i am not using reply activity in the error handler) its retrying infinitely and messages are not coming to the error Queue.If i use reply activity its not retrying its failing at first time and the message is moved out of the main Queue1.
Can any one please help me on this?

Since the messages are getting retried, it means that messages are getting rolled back to Queue1 when any errors happen. So transactional behavior is configured correctly.
Now the problem yu face is that the messages are not moving to error queue.
Make sure that you have configured following in the delivery failure tab of the queue>
Redelivery Delay Override - delay in miliseconds between retries
Redelivery Limit - number of retries
Expiration Policy - Redirect
Error Destination - Choose the error queue here
After that make sure that the Server is restarted, even though a server restart sign is not mentioned on the config page, some of these settings might not take effect without a restart.
