My messages cannot send at iPad sometimes

Hi Everybody,I have a problem with my iPad again.Sometimes,iMessage can send my messages to my friend,and he can send message to me correctly.But,my iPad sometimes doesn't send my message to him.I can solve the problem by re-starting iPad or changing DNS.But those are didn't effect now,can you help me guys?(We have the latest IOS both,but he have an iPad 2 with 3G,32 GB.I am tried to re-start the iMessage but doesn't work,so I wanted to ask you guys.

The issue definitely sounds like your Outgoing/SMTP settings need to be changed. Simply set them to the proper settings for your provider as was suggested above.

The SMTP settings can be edited on the iPad/iPhone by going to Settings--> Mail, Contacts, Calendars, edit the account having trouble, click the Account, then at the bottom is the SMTP server info, click on it to edit it further.
It should allow you to edit the primary smtp server and let you enter all the good stuff as you see in the Knology link above.
Some providers require you to register your account on their service like AT&T.

Error message: "Cannot send alert message to browser" on Rule Policy

Hi Experts.
Have anybody experience with the error message "Cannot send alert message to browser" on Rule Policies? The condition-check of the rule is working fine. But the error message shown appears in the web UI Similar exception on Complaints Error Message but no answer. Is it possible that the SSL settings are responsible for that error message? Any ideas? on that line of code: line 91: sam_sender->send_to_client( message = sam_message ).
I looked inside:
- In the method "_SEND (CL_SAM_SESSION_QUEUE_SENDER)"
line 101: http_client->receive( EXCEPTIONS http_communication_failure = 1 ... )
The sy-subrc will be set to 1.
I looked inside:
- In the method "IF_HTTP_CLIENT~RECEIVE (CL_HTTP_CLIENT)"
line 885: reason = response->get_header_field( 'sap-icmclnterror' ).
Here the "reason" will be set to "Native SSL Error".
Any ideas how to solve this problem?

ITouch error Message Cannot send Mail.

My first generation iTouch has quite sending mail. I can receive email, but can not send. When I try to send mail I get the error message
Cannot Send Mail
The connection to the outgoing server "smtp.mac.com:jbleeg" failed.
I am using apples Mail program and have it set up as imap. When I right click on the inbox and choose Edit Imap Accout, I can see the incoming and out going settings match my ipod setting screen.
This used to work, but when apple went to this "cloud" and .me, it quit working.
I rarely send email from my iTouch so this is not a big problem, but annoying.
Any suggestions.

Interesting db mail issue. If i click send test mail from sql mgmt studio, it works fine, but when i execute a SP to send a mail, it fails. One thing I noticed is that the "LastModified" column in the mail log shows the domain account when a test
mail was sent from mgmt studio, but show "sa" when the SP was used to send mail.
This is from SQL 2012, did not see this in sql 2008, looks like 2008 always used the service account. any ideas ?

Hi Ranga,
I also use SQL Server 2012. I send a test email through SQL Server Management and the last modified By “sa”.
If you used stored procedure to send a test email. Please use the command below:
EXEC msdb.dbo.sp_send_dbmail
@profile_name = 'Adventure Works Administrator',
@recipients = '[email protected]',
@body = 'The stored procedure finished successfully.',
@subject = 'Automated Success Message' ;
I can both send test email through SQL Server Management Studio and SP. Make sure you have the right profile. Since you could send test mail via SQL Server Management Studio, please try again to send it via SP.

Getting message cannot send mail check server setting

Trying to get email to send out, but getting a message saying cannot send...check outgoing server setting...

Do you have any other mail accounts on your iPad? If so you can select another server from the options.
Go to settings again and select Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Then select your mail account from the window on the right side. Then tap on the email address of the account to open the next window that shows the account information. Then there should be heading titled Outgoing Mail Server. You can tap the arrow to the right of the server name in that field to get to the next window that shows other servers. Try to select one from there and see if that works.
I keep forgetting about this as well. It has provided help to others.

Message cannot send if P.C was started by function module, ok for event

Hi Expert,
I face a very strange situation
As you know, we could create message for each process chain steps
I have one process chain which contains message if it is start and when it is finished
The start condtion for this process chain was after event
But the strange situation is
1. If this process chain was start by function module: RSPC_API_CHAIN_START
The message in process chain cannot be sent
2. If we trigger event for this process chain, the p.c could be execuced correctly
Could you kindly let me know the possible reason for this issue?

Root cause is the function module we use will run the process chain in dialog module (no batch job). So system cannot send the mail.
If run it in background, we could get the mail

MAIL reply all to large message- "Cannot send message" how to get this to go away

I replied all to a large message and got the notification "cannot send message..." I usually press cancel or try again, but since the message was so large, I don't have access to either buttons. It won't allow me to scroll down and maximizing the message does not help. I have tried force quit and shutting down my computer, but everytime I reopen mail, the message pops up. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Hi,
I'm working offline from time to time, but Mail.app keeps generating these annoying messages saying that he "cannot send message" and that "the server cannot be contacted", after trying to send alert messages (generated by Calendar.app)
Well I know that the server cannot be contacted.. that's because I'm not connected, because I don't have an internet connection.
How can I disable these messages when I'm working offline? Quitting the Calendar and Mail.app does not work. Processes are working in the background I suppose. And choosing the "Try Later" option just suppresses the message for a while.
What can I do?

Open Activity Monitor, located in /Applications/Utilities. Make sure you have All Processes showing in the drop down in the upper right. Locate CalendarAgent (this is likely the one doing it) and Calendar (this one is the actual calendar app, so leave this one if you still want to view your calendars). Select them and click Quit Process in the upper left. That may do the trick. Opening your Calendar will reopen both processes.
If that doesn't help, you may want to repost this. Some users may not look at the thread since it was marked as solved.

Nokia Messaging - cannot send emails...

Hi,
I have recently got an E71 on the 3 network.
a week or so ago i installed nokia messaging (email.nokia.com) to use with my @ntlworld.com email address.
I believe i was receiving and sending messages ok at this point.
the other day i tried to send an email and almost immediately received a message to say it had failed to send
from : Mail Delivery Subsystem, subjectelivery Status Notification (Failure)
etc etc.
And I get this each time (and obviously the email doesn't send)
I have tried uninstalling from phone, deleting the email address from my account on email.nokia.com, then re-seting up agin, but still have the same problem.
Any ideas?
Is it a problem with my phone/the network/ntlworld/nokia messaging?

Hello I had the same problem a few months ago the way I solved this issue was.
1. Go to Http://email.nokia.com 2. login and click "edit setting" 3. next to the affected account(s) click "change server settings" 4. remove/delete the "outgoing email server" AND "outgoing server port"
5. click "Save" ( X ) out and try to send a email.
This should fix the problem it sure did for me

Why does my mail say this message cannot send

Every time i try to send a email from my mail on my laptop it says
"Error This message could not be sent. It will remain in your Outbox until it can be sent.
This message could not be sent because your account does not have a preferred outgoing mail server. Select an outgoing mail server from the list below." could someone tell me how to fix it?

From the Mail menu bar, select
          Mail ▹ Preferences
The Mail preference dialog opens. Select the Accounts tab, then select the affected account in the list on the left.
In the Account Information pane, select a server in the menu labeled
          Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)
If there's no server in the menu, select
          Edit SMTP Server List...
and add one with the correct settings. If you're not sure how to do that, try the Mail Settings Lookup.

Can receive text messages, cannot send

New S4, activated earlier this evening. I can receive text messages, but whenever I send one I get an instant "failed" displayed. Called persons that I attempted to text and they never received the text

Why do I get the message "Cannot send mail, the user name and or password for my email outgoing server is incorrect"? I use the same account, etc. on my iPhone and haven't any trouble sending mail.

If your email requires a password for the SMTP server you can set it up in the settings in the General mail setup. Some i.e Gmail require a password for SMTP.
Otherwise you will probably get better answers in the iPad forum.
