My messages doesn't work

It never validates the account, it's like stucked in that process and I installed it twice, does anyone knows why is this happening?

Hi,
To launch Messages the first time your must use and Apple ID that Messages likes.
In the Messages menu > Preferences > Accounts this "Account" then becomes the top one.
It seems after this point you can deactivate the "Account" - and then not do iMessages to iPhones or iPads.
If in iChat you had multiple Buddy Lists with say AIM, Google, FaceBook as well as the @mac.com name you are talking about, then Messages will gather those Buddy List in to one list (even if you had it set different in iChat 6).
What happens then is that the global Buddy List can take on some of the attributes of one of the actual lists - as in Off line or Invisible.
Go to the Message Menu > Preferences > General section and unlink the Buddy lists
Then Check the Status of Each (Click and hold the current Status message)
Also check the bottom of that list to make sure that one Buddy List is not setting the Status for All.
There does appear to be an issue about the Mac going to Sleep and Waking with Messages.
Unfortunately there does not seem to be an Answer to this just yet.

Assuming you have Messages on. You can try two things the first is a simpler than the second. Go to this site https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/, click on Manage your ID, log in and check if your Apple ID for your Messages and FaceTime apps is the the same as your primary email address. When I went there I saw a message that I should make them the same, for some reason they weren't, after I clicked on the submit to make them the same I haven't had any problem with either. Previously I kept getting signed out of both and had to constantly reenter my password to get them working. Quite a few times they wouldn't connect at all.
The second thing you can try is in Settings - General - Reset, and reset all settings. You will then have to reenter a lot of information such as account user names and passwords but this seemed to correct things for a lot of people. The first option is easier and worked for me so I'd give it a try.

Why custom logon error messages doesn't work in WAS 7.0, EP 7.0?

I managed to get custom error messages in WAS 6.40 / EP 6.0.
I'm using JAAS custom Login module for user authentication and from there different Login Exceptions are thrown.
I have modified logon.par file to display different error messages like "Logon ID is empty", "Password is empty", "Your user ID or password could not be validated. Please check and try again."
When i copy the same code into my working environment i.e WAS 7.0 / EP 7.0, it doesn't work, message always was "User Authentication Failed". Do anyone knows the reason why i was like that?
Can you please explain exactly when the custom login module gets executed after the user clicks on "Logon" Button.
In logon.par file i have not seen any code to execute JAAS - custom logon module. PLease explain exact execution flow ..

Your card reader might be finicky like mine. Figure out which device your card reader is at (from what I'm reading probably sdb), then attempt to mount /dev/sdb to any location. If your card reader is like mine, this mount will fail but you'll find you now magically have /dev/sdb1, /dev/sdb2, etc devices, which will successfully mount... oddness, but it "just works" so I'm happy
Note that if you plug a card into a slot that is to the kernel, for example, /dev/sda2, then try to mount /dev/sda1, this will (obviously) fail, so be sure to try mounting all the devices that magically appear (if any do).

Group messaging doesn't work after switching to Galaxy S4

1. Turned off imessage before switching
2. Disconnected my phone number from iTunes, iMessage, FaceTime, Apple, iCloud
3. Deactivated my phone from Apple, however I've gone back on to check 3 times and my phone keeps reappearing on there...not sure how this happens
4. Turned back on my old iphone and whiped it completely to brand new
I have two separate group messages: one with 2 iphone users, one with 3 iphone users. The group message with the 2 iphone users works fine. The group message with 3 iphone users works for ONE of the iphone users, but not for the other two.
They can text me individually and it sends as sms after attempting to send as imessage, but when in the group message it automatically sends as imessage and doesnt allow for the switch to sms.
I've called Apple Care 5 times already, and each time they've suggested something new, asking me to wait 24-hours and then try again. We've all deleted eachother messages and contacts as if we didnt exist any longer and then started a new thread which didnt work either.
Help!

It's difficult to determine by touch if the PB is hot enough to turn the fans on. Do you know the fan/s used to work while performing a certain function? There are two fans, both in the rear, one centered and the other by the power connection. Neither one turns on, even with the power adapter connected?
One fan "test" I've found to be relatively consistent between 800/867/1GHz TiBooks is to run Visualizer in iTunes for about 15 minutes with the power adapter connected. That has always created enough CPU activity to turn the fans on for every TiBook I've ever tested.
If no fans, I would try resetting the PMU and NVRAM first. If that doesn't work, then I'll take a guess and say there may be some difference in the 800/1GHz firmware (assuming all the hardware connections are correct, as you've stated, and the fans themselves function).

I installed the new iOS 5 and now my text messaging doesn't work, how do i fix this?

i was wondering if this is a hardware problem with my phone since it is a refurbished one, or if it has happened to other people as well.

How are you trying to accomplish these two tasks?
The correct way is as follows:
Camera zoom: pinch with your fingers like you do when viewing pictures.
Camera button in lock screen: Double-tap on the home button while in lock screen
If you are already doing it that way and it doesn't work, then maybe someone else here has another idea.

Messages doesn't work with AIM

I've been trying out the beta. Messages isn't working with AIM (will not connect and stubbornly remains Offline). It seems to work fine with text chat with other Messages users and no problems with FaceTime either. But I have some friends on AIM I like to chat with and also a couple of people I sometimes help via screen sharing and it is annoying not to be able to get the AIM part to connect.

Yes, enabling and disabling the AIM account (sometimes it takes doing it a few times) seems to work. And I found elsewhere that opening activity monitor and killing off the imagent process (which then automatically relaunches) seems to work as well. Those workarounds are not permanent solutions for me though. As soon as the iMac is either restarted or shut down and then turned back on... Messages seems to be right back at square one with not being able to connect to AIM unless I use the workaround again. I just hope Apple can figure out what is going on and fix the app before it goes final.

Got an iPhone 5, suddenly Messages doesn't work on ML

I just got an iPhone 5 today and set it up, iMessage works perfectly fine. I had an iPhone 4 before that and had messages working seemlessly with mountain lion. All the sudden, my message app stops working on my macbook and this is really bothering me. What happens is, it keeps asking me to input my password (which it has never done before and I haven't changed it). Finally, it will stop and it says that the account is active under preferences, but then all of my imessage contacts will come up as not being registered (their names are in red). If i toggle it on/off, then it says that my account is inactive... I tried two things i saw in the discussions here: i went to keychain access and deleted the stuff for imessge and i looked in my hosts file but I did not have the extra lines to comment out that others seemed to have had. Suggestions please???

Did you change your phone number (doubtful)?
Try setting the account up again on the Mac.
Have you tried Keychain Access First Aid (under the Keychain Access Menu)?

Hi! I have a File-to-IDOC scenario with ack working good. I see ack in sxmb_moni as submessage.
I need to have acknowledment as separate message, and save some data from ack message to file.

Then I create data type, message type, interface and mappings from ALEAUD01 to my message and interface.
Then I create Communication channel for file receiver, receiver determination from CRM-system component with interface ALEAUD.ALEAUD01 to my FILESYSTEM-component.
Then I create Interface determination from CRM-system component with interface ALEAUD.ALEAUD01 to my interface using interface mapping.
Then I create Receiver Agreement using created above communication channel.
And so, it doesn't works

As a temporary solution, have an outbound ABAP proxy to send the aleaud idocs using RBDSTATE program.
Steps, create a proxy for aleaud.aleaud01 interface in backend using sproxy transaction.
IN the execute_asynchronous method, SUBMIT the RBDSUBMIT program which triggers the ALEAUD idocs to XI system.
Write a ZProgram which calles this proxy class=>method and schedule this Zprogram as background recurring job(Say every hour or so).
IN XI system, have the configuration and repository ready with ALEAUD as the source interface and some other interface to receive your ALEAUD idoc messages.

Nokia Messaging doesn't work with vanity domains

Nokia Messaging's "simplified" setup means I can't get it to work with my vanity domain. I can't get it to ask me what server it should use, it just complains that it can't connect - which isn't very surprising when it doesn't give me any opportunity to tell it which server to use.
I have emails from my domian forwarded to my Gmail account. The Gmail account itself works fine with Nokia Messaging, because the automatic setup works. The problem is that I want the reply address to be [email protected], not [email protected] Entering [email protected] as the address means Nokia Messaging insists on trying for some non-existent mail server for mydomain.com and doesn't give me the opportunity to enter the details for Gmail.
Does anybody know of a way to enter the details manually?
Assuming it's not possible to enter the details directly, not only is this a major problem for people who forward mail from their vanity domians, but it's potentially a serious security problem too. In its attempts to find the right server, Nokia Messaging must be connecting to some mail server somewhere and trying to log in with my username and password. Who knows what server it decided to try? Who knows who now has my login information? It's bad enough that Nokia store your login credentials, but it's just plain dangerous that they think it's OK to send them to random servers on the internet as they try to find the right one.
Why isn't there an "advanced" option so I can just set it up myself? Why, even after it has failed to connect, can't I just enter the required details myself?
Seriously Nokia, it doesn't take a genius to work out that if you never ask for the right server to connect to, your service is not going to work for anything but the most straightforward cases. You can't guess it right every time and when you try and guess you leak people's login credentialsto who-knows-who.

"Reply-to" address should be a feature of Nokia Messaging. I too have my work email forwarded to gmail to be able to use it with Nokia Messaging.
I have requested this feature since the app was on beta. and i'm doing it now again.
Maybe if we all request it they will take it seriously, but here is the wrong place to do it.

I have trolled many forum posts and mailing list threads. I'm sure this question has been asked thousands of times (in fact I've read answers and tried to implement but come up short every time).
Q: How do you make fmt: message work with multiple bundle files?
I have simple test page test.jsp that includes a taglibs fragment. The page attempts to localize a key from a Messages bundle. I get the following as output:

This JSP has been deployed on Tomcat 5.5.23 and Tomcat 6.0.13 with the same result.
I have configured the web.xml many different ways, but currently it's per the 2.4 servlet spec. I have jstl-1.2.jar located in WEB-INF/lib. This is the only webapp library included my deployment. The rest is "vanilla" Tomcat.

The trick was to set basename in fmt:setBundle to i18n.Messages.Messages. It's not clear from the tag's javadoc, but it appears that the convention is

So, for me
since I have the following deployment structure

I had to specify
<fmt:setBundle basename="i18n.Messages.Messages" var="msgBundle" />

to finally see

If I add
<fmt:setLocale value="de" /> before all that
I get
der shoop-a-loop
Ha ha!
I would mention that it is not necessary to add the localizationContext in web.xml. It's a convenience if you don't want to specify the default bundle in your JSPs. You cannot define more than one bundle in your web.xml.
I am working with a webapp that has many different bundles, so I'll incurthe overhead of specifying bundle basenames and vars.

TS2755 After upgrading to IOS 7.0.2 sending messages doesn't work right. It gets stuck on "sending", until I click the message and select the option "send as text". What's wrong?

When using Message after upgrading to IOS 7, it get stuck on "sending" and stays there forever until I click the message and hit "send as text" and then the message changes from blue to green and goes through.

I turned the phone off and then back on and now it works.

Mail + Exchange 2007 + Move message doesn't work

I have my Apple mail program setup to use my work Exchange account and for the most part it works great. However, when I try to move mail from my Inbox to a subfolder, it fails. I've tried dragging the mail to the folder and I've tried going through the right click menu. I've also tried different folders and different pieces of mail with the same result. I can move messages with my iPhone and with my work PCs Outlook client. Lastly, I've checked the main network ports on the Exchange server to verify that my communications with the server are not being blocked. Any ideas on how to fix this?
