My mini wont take my bluetooth 2 edr
i purchesed a class 1 bluetooth 2 EDR dongle, (a belkin 1) i know the origional modle by belkin didnt work on macintosh, but the new one actually does, so when i purhesed it i asked the shop keep if i could return it if it didnt work because of prior problems wih belkins.
i tried it on my boss's mac which had an external dongle, so i basicly swapped his for mine, and it worked perfectly. brilliant i thought.
so i take it home and plug it in mine, because i have a mac mini with built in bluetooth 1EDR it runs conflict, unfortunatly i am unable to turn off the bluetooth or know how to tell my mac how to use the belkin rather to the built in version. i dont want to return it as i know it can work with macs, and do actually want it, other than buying a intel mini with bluetooth 2 inside, which is way too expensive, is it possible to tell my mac to choose which bluetooth component to use.

Sorry to hear you had trouble connecting your keyboard/mouse after installing the Belkin driver.
Did you try deleting their pairing, then using Bluetooth Setup Assistant for fresh configuration — or any other ~"standard" troubleshooting steps?
Is it a Belkin model F8T012 dongle? I'm surprised you installed, then uninstalled, the driver they apparently provided for Mac compatibility. Not owning one of their devices, I don't have a serial # required to DL and check it out — did the driver come with a ReadMe file that suggests problems?
(1) I think it's time to call Belkin Technical Support. There are links from their main Support webpage for International phone contacts, or via email.
Please post back to let us know what they say.
(2) I'm curious: what's your reason for needing the 2.0+EDR upgrade? Did you upgrade (or need to?) your internal module with the Apple Bluetooth firmware updater 1.2? From the F8T008 / F8T009 User Manual (I don't see one listed for the F8T012/13), it looks like the Belkin adapter supports the same profiles as the current 1.2 implementation in Mac OS X10.4.x — but some of their terminology differs, so I'm not certain.

Every time I insert any type of cd or dvd into my mini it makes a few noises then after 5 or so seconds it spits the disks out. I've tried audio cds, game cds, and dvds but none will work. This problem occurred after I put disk 1 (install disk) of a game in and it installed, and then went to put disk 2 (play disk) in, it spit it back out. You could call AppleCare Support, have them help you diagnose the problem and if it needs some hardware service you can drop it off at the store with your case number. This would save you a couple of steps at the store (they could help you troubleshoot the issue as well). If it does turn out to be something AppleCare Support can help you with over the phone, it will save you a trip to the Apple store (unless you're looking for a reason to go to the store!).

just updated iphone, it will not let me start up without changing my id-- so I changed it to email address like it asked and it wont take it saying its already in use,,, yes it is, its mine!! help
That error message means that your email address is already associated with another Apple ID. It could be tied to GameCenter, iTunes Store, or another Apple ID.

The iPhone 4 is not compatible because it does not support the low energy bluetooth transfer that the iPhone 4s and later do.

I am in the same boat as you. My Superdrive worked like a champ for quite awhile, but just yesterday it started spitting out everything I tried to feed it like a fussy toddler.
After restarting, I got it to take a disc but it wouldn't mount and the disc would not eject. When I checked the system profiler it told me that I had no burner attached. Ten or fifteen restarts later holding the eject button down, the disc popped out.
This morning the system profiler tells me that I have a drive again after having it shut down over night, but it is back to spitting everything out. I am taking it in again for repair (2 logic boards and a heat sink replaced already). As you can imagine I am getting a tad frustrated.
When the machine works, it works great - I love it. Now its getting to the point where everytime I open the lid I am wondering what will go wrong. I don't know what good it will do but I am going to ask for a replacement. I am thinking I got a lemon.
I will let you know what I find out about the super drive though when they tell me.

Assuming that the battery isn't empty (and it can take up to 15 minutes of charging before it will respond), then have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

This is the first time i have brought an itunes voucher to use on my iphone, i have been able to redeem it and it shows up on my account but it wont take any money off it and it just keeps asking for my apple id all over agin and for my card details....... slowly loosing the will to live and all the help websites just use all these terms i dont understand, Any help will be much appreciated!!! If you don't have a rescue email address set, then you're SoL.
If you do, then reset your info and check in there.
If not, you'll have to contact iTS, and wait for God knows how long for Apple to complete its pending investigation in this SNAFU.

I have not used my ipad in many months, Today I go to use it and iCloud tells me I need to back the ipad up, then asks me for my icloud password. I preseume it is the same as my apple id password, but it wont accept that., then tells me I can reset it but wont take me to the internet and keeps coming back to the logon page.
this is stupidSome people have multiple Apple ID's and iCloud accounts and forget their passwords because of that reason. Nobody here knows that you used the correct password. You never said that you entered the correct password. When you said you had not used the iPad in months, the natural assumption would be that you did indeed forget your password.
Try this and see if it lets you bypass that logon screen. You will not lose any data if you do this.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
i got a debit card and it had money on it and i used it on itunes and to buy apps and everything then all of a sudden it wont take my card anymore so i cant update or download anything on my phone.

You have not provided any information on which to base troubleshooting. Minimal information would include the Model Mac mini you have for example Mid 2010 Mac mini, exactly what happened when iTunes crashed, and what -- if anything -- happens when you try to restart. It is unlikely iTunes has anything to do with the failure to reboot but instead iTunes crashed because of what even caused your Man mini to fail.
Just as a starting point, be sure and check all your connections, power, monitor, keyboard, mouse, everything. You would not be the first to have a plug come adrift unexpectedly.
