My mms/sms message doesn't send

I have iPhone 4 and today when I tried to text via MMS messaging it didn't send.  Can anyone help?

Hi KiltedTIm,
Sorry! I just found out the provider cut off our phone.  We just got the bill 2 days ago.
BTW, another question.  Our provider is Verizon.  Can I text to other provider iPhone for free?

  • SMS messages won't send from my Macbook Air

I installed yosemite and am enjoying all the great perks except for one. I am unable to send SMS messages from my computer. Everything is one the same Apple ID but it doesn't work. I can make calls but can't send SMS messages. Please help!

ALso another gotcha mentioned by Jason Snell at Six Colours
"I couldn’t get this feature to work until I discovered that there’s a setting on the iPhone—“iPhone Cellular Calls” in the FaceTime settings menu—that had to be switched on before I could use it. That’s a weird place for that feature to live, in my opinion—why not in the Phone settings?—and a weird name for it, too. (On the Mac side, you can toggle this feature off in the FaceTime app.)"

  • Updated to iOS 6.1 now my SMS messages won't send

I updated to iOS 6.1 over the air yesterday afternoon. I got some good news so I sent out a couple messages to people but kept getting failure to send notifications. Before 6.1, I did not have any problem sending SMS messages. iMessages still works properly though. I am in the process of restoring the phone to see if this fixes the problem. If anyone else out there has solved this problem, please let me know.
I have a iPhone 5 running on Sprint.

Why do SMS messgaes appear on my husbands iPhone, that I send to friends that I have previously sent messages from my iPad?
We have no pc, just iPad 2 and iPhones and the magical cloud!,
    Cheers

Are you sharing an Apple ID?
Go to Settings>Messages>Send and receive and unselect his phone number from your iPhone and yours from his.
Also make sure that each of the phones are sending from their own numbers

  • Cannot Send or recieve any sms messages

Hi i just got a blackberry 8830 world edition on verizon wireless and as the title says i cannot send or recieve sms messages.
when i send messages i get the error:
    SMS error 97 Service denied
how can i fix this!!! i can recieve email though
    Mnkras

It's in the manage internet email opion, the firewall is in the option/security. My advice to you is do some playing around with your new phone. You can learn new trick and sometime "UNLOCK" your phone...in the process... I can't tell you how you can basicly unlock all 8800 and 9000 series blackberry... it's something you have to find on your own... The world is yours!!
Something off the issue... I thought I would never get use nor like how a Blackberry operate, nor how the GUI is so lame when it compare to a HTC G1 or even a iPhone. Now I have 4 - 8820 and 1 - Curve in my collection of phone..

  • Bluetooth connection supresses SMS message alert (...

Sorry if this has been raised before but when Bluetooth connection is active the alert for incoming SMS messages doesn't seem happen.
It's causing my wife so much grief with missed messages that she's not using the integrated Bluetooth kit in her Mini. Can't find any details of compatibility for Minis, but hers has full compatibility with BMWs according to their list.
Also have the same problem when it's connected to my laptop so don't think it's a car problem.
Is this a known problem with a cure, or is it a "feature".
    Thanks.

I do not have a car kit, but isn't the phone is some car kit profile while you connect it to the ´car kit ?
If yes, check the car kit profile from settings/profiles in phone and see if there is a setting that incoming SMS alert is set to silent ? If yes, change it.

  • How do I copy SMS messages from phone to memory ca...

After I change the option of saving the messages from phone memory to memory card on my E90, I don't see any of the messages stored on the previous choice in INBOX. This is ok, I understood this.. But.. How do I copy the messages from phone memory to memory card for example ? Reply pls..

I think I kind of solved this issue.. Try doing this. Copy all files from memory card to a back-up folder in your PC, after connecting the phone to the PC via 'Data Transfer Mode', by clicking CTRL+A while in Memory Card in Windows Explorer. (Doing this, you will also copy the hidden files, if you haven't clicked the option to view hidden files and folders in Windows Explorer). Afterwards, format the memory card via phone, or simply CTRL+A + Delete from explorer to fully erase the microSD card. In phone, messages, in other settings, choose phone memory to store SMS messages, and then.. tell a friend to send you an SMS message, or simply send one to yourself. After receiving the message, go back to settings->Other, save sms messages to:, choose Memory Card, and the phone should ask you, whether to move or not the original messages. If you choose to move them, and NOT to save the original messages, entire messages from phone should move to the memory card. (If you would have chosen to save the original messages, the mesages that you move, would STILL BE in the phone memory.) If you want to do this again, to move them from memory card back to phone memory, change the memory to save sms messages (and if at first you have chosen NOT to save original messages, the phone should 'ask' you again for the same question.)
And, btw, if you're probably curious.. (as I was ) where the messages were saved, in memory card, after the first time you copy the messages to memory card, check the memory card via 'Data Transfer' mode on your PC's Windows Explorer. I found them in the 'private' folder somewhere.. There should be a mail and mail2 folder there.. Also, the phone browsers, FExplorer, and Y-Browser won't be able to access the private folder. (For security reasons, bleah )
Afterwards you can copy all software folders, images, music files, documents, etc. from the backed-up memory card folder you created at the first steps, since we all know E90 is a smart cutie, and will automatically detect all files, software, etc., after you copy-paste them.
    Cheers, hope this helps

  • 7610 SMS MESSAGING - TROUBLESHOOTING

Ive got a prob with my phone sending sms msg's, it wont send them and puts the message in my outbox, saying resend at 3.34pm eg. Eventualy it will fail. the reason it failed is because 'memory is full, end some applications and try again' but i have nothing other than the text message bit open. I checked by pressing and holdiong the application button and there is nothing there. It is not the message centre number as i have checked that also. Could i have a bit of advice please.

Both of those are carrier features, contact your cell phone provider and ask them why.
