Not using any mouse pad, I have a very smooth desktop. But I just tried to use a sheet of A4 printing paper, but no result, the problem persisted.
Someone on this forum suggested, that USB3 may interfere with the magic mouse.
I have 2 LaCie HDD's about 70 cm away from the mouse, I use them on Thunderbolt. But in operation or not - the result is the same, the mouse plays up! Just now I was clicking the desktop and the mouse created a new folder!!

I downloaded AirPlayIt yesterday from the app store. It was on my iPad yesterday. Today, however, the app icon does not appear on my home screen. When I go into apps it is there but it doesn't have an "Open" choice. There is only a cloud with an arrow pointing down. When I click on the app it pops up but there is no open button. How can I remove it? Tapping it won't work as it isn't on my home screen.

My MacBook Pro will not start. When I started it goes to a gray screen with the Apple logo and has the spinning dial. When I started in safe mode it will not start. In safe mode it as an error message that says MacBook Launch_msg(): Socket is not connected
If running 10.7 or later hold down Command-R at Startup.
This should invoke recovery Mode.
Choose Disk Utility.
Select your Hard drive. Inspect the SMART Status in the lower right of the window for "Verified".
Select the Mac OS X Volume (originally Macintosh HD) click (Repair Disk)
If errors, run again until it comes clean or gets stuck.
Report any error messages. -

On SOUND preferences, I don't have the option for chosing HDMI on the OUTPUT sound.Do you have another HDMI port that you can switch to on the TV? Is the tv source on the matching HDMI port with the volume up? After checking those try the following:

App icon does not appear for Keynote
Tried to download "Keynote App". Icon does not appear. Under the "App Store App" under "Purchased Tab" the app appears in the "Not on this Ipad" (I don't have another ipad) section with a cloud with a downward facing arrow. when I click on that it says " You've already purchased this, so it will be downloaded at no attional charge". When I click "OK" nothing changes.
I have also checked "General"/Usage" under settings and the App does not appear there.

Why does calendar app icon show current date, but weather app icon does not?
i.e. At time of writing this post, the calendar app icon shows "Sunday 16" but the weather one always always always shows "23 degrees"
Is there a way of fixing this inconsistency in the UI?I now realise that this has been asked previously, only the 'previously asked?' search didnt' pick it up for me.
Yes I understand the issues about how 'live' it needs to be, but surely you should have the option of picking this? Most people are connected 'all the time' anyway, so so what if there is a tiny bit of weather data flying about? -
I hooked up my iPod to my computer to sync it and download purchases. When I returned to the iPod the screen was dark with the apple logo on it and it won't respond to my pressing the button on the borrom and it won't shut off. Have no idea what to do except let the battery run down. Any suggestions for solving this problem.

Satellite A300-129 - Sound is muted and icon does not respond
Dear all,
I am trying to switch on the sound of my Satellite A300-129 after I had muted it a couple of days ago, but the icon does not respond.
When I click on the right mouse button, I can go to sounds etc., but "Open volume mixer" does not respond either. I have also tried to restart the laptop a couple of times, but that did not help.
What can I do? Your help will be much appreciated.

LOL You will not lose anything for ever. :D in worst case you will have to reinstall the OS using the Toshiba recovery disk.
Access the device manager -> mark the sound card -> use delete button -> reboot the notebook
After new reboot the sound driver should reinstall again and should detect the sound card. -
The Airplay icon does not show on my Mac Pro, regardless that it is clicked on display. How can I do to see the Airplay Icon in order to connect my apple TV with my Mac Pro?
To check your model go to About This Mac (by clicking on the Apple icon, top left) and then select more info. If you wish to use mirroring you will need one from 2011 or later running OSX 10.8 or later. The alternative would be to use 3rd party software like Airparrot.

RESPONSES:
1) When I set up my iMac, I did not transfer any data directly from my windows PC. I simply used the same iTunes login and account. I have access to all of the files via the "Purchased" section of the iTunes store. If I click "Download Previous Purchases" text, I can download ALL of the purchases I have ever made.
2) I have the Apple TV 2, so good news, question answered. I thought maybe it was the Apple TV 1, but it is the Black model, so bam. Good response for you. Well the whole damned reply is an awesome response, just pointing out that one piece of awesome. I stated that it was an Apple TV 2, and yet you were still good enough to figure I could be mistaken, and provide me with knowleedge just incase.
QUESTIONS:
3) So can my iMac not stream the data directly from itunes, without download? Apple TV can, but perhaps that is something among many things that maker it unique, and awesome.

I work in the computer support section for the Military. The only problem is we use Windows , lol. Well that and i've been gone for nearly 6 months on recover. I go back next month though I hope. I look for integrated in the legend bloc of diaporama, a widget such as "Accordion" for, with a click, or passing with mouse, open a new legend for each photo. I tried with "Accordion" of Muse, it does not work. I tried copy/paste, mais no result. The widget disappear in bloc legend. disparaître. Have you one solution?

I just verified that i have an early 2011 Macbook Pro and the airplay icon does not appear. i also have a 2013 Macbook Pro which shows the airplay icon. do i need to enable airplay on my early 2011 or is there an update that is needed? Confused.
