  • How can I permanently delete books from my purchased list

How can I delete books from my purchased list?

You can't permanently delete any item from your account's purchase history, hiding them is all that you can do.
You can control which apps are backed up to the cloud via Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Manage Storage on the device - do those apps show there, and you are able to delete their content from the backup there ?

  • There is absolutely NO way to drag and drop newly purchased music from the Purchased list on the phone into my iTunes library?  I'm finding it hard to believe that something so simple cannot be done!

I like to make MP3 CD's when I have people over, or when my friends have people over so I can just pop them into the CD player and let them play all night without having to worry about changing the CD or anything.  Well, Apple's music is in AAC format, so I have to convert the songs to MP3 files using the converter in iTunes.  So I'll convert them to MP3's and just delete the AAC file so I don't have doubles.  The problem is, the next time I plug the phone into my laptop to transfer new purchases, iTunes thinks that the songs I converted aren't there anymore because the phone has them as AAC files, and iTunes has them as MP3 files, so it doubles the music again...EVERY time!!  It's very frustrating!  So this is why instead of clicking Transfer Purchases, I would like to be able to just drag and drop the songs I want from the Purchased list on the phone into my iTunes library.  I hope I explained this right...lol.  Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like I'm able to do that.  I'm hoping maybe somebody here can help me out and give me some pointers on what to do about this.  Thanks!!

That stinks!  I can actually do that at my house...I just plug my iPhone right into the wire that's plugged into my receiver in my living room...but some of my friends aren't "technology savvy"...lol...so they just have DVD players and I'll put the CD in there because it will read an MP3 disc.  What's funny, is I have the phone set to "Manually Manage Music", and when I plugged it into the laptop just now, the one song I downloaded last night on the phone, transferred over to the iTunesl library.  That NEVER happens.  And it only transferred the one song...it didn't double the other songs like it ususally does.  I swear, iTunes does what it wants, when it wants sometimes...lol.  Thank you for your quick response.

  • How can I drag and drop a song from my "Purchased" list on to my i-Pod?

I've recently updated the apple software on my PC and the new version of i-Tunes won't let me drag and drop songs from my "Purchased" list directly to my i-Pod.  I don't want to sync my i-Pod.  It will erase all the songs on my i-Pod and sync with the playlist from my PC.  I want to select just one song from my "Purchased" list and put that on my i-Pod.

I got my own answer !!   I saw it on another post.  Select "View" and then toggle down to "View Sidebar".
Now I can drag and drop like before.

  • How do I delete an app from my purchased list?

My son purchased an unsuitable app for his age accidentally. Is there anyway I can remove it from my purchase list.

  • I deleted my iMovie from computer and from my purchases list in AppStroe. When I'm trying to download it again from App Store a pop up window comes up and says: "These apps were already assigned to your Apple ID and are available in your Purchases list"

I deleted my iMovie from computer and from my purchases list in AppStroe. When I'm trying to download it again from App Store a pop up window comes up and says: "These apps were already assigned to your Apple ID and are available in your Purchases list". Please help me to reinstall it.

If new versions of iPhoto and the other iLife applications (iMovie and GarageBand) were purchased by the previous owner from the Mac App Store, then they will be locked to the previous owner's Apple ID and cannot be transferred to you. You will have to re-purchase them under your own Apple ID.
If this is an older MBA that came with Snow Leopard or an earlier version of Mac OS X, though, the system would have come with an installation disk that included the iLife applications, a disk which the seller should have provided to you. Those iLife applications would be older versions, of course, and may or may not work in Lion depending on how old they are.
    Regards.

  • HT201304 Can I remove apps from my purchase list

Can I remove apps from my purchase list..?

No. You can hide them from the Purchases section of the iTunes Store through iTunes on a computer (or your iPad if it's still running iOS 5):
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919
but there's no way to remove apps permanently, nor can they be removed nor hidden in the Purchase History.
    Regards.

  • How can I "DELETE, NOT HIDE" my app from my purchased list?

I have a child.  And like children they are very clever sometimes with downloading apps.  Mine has downloaded hundreds of apps on my account in the last couple years and I want to delete them from my purchased list.  I am kinda OCD when it comes to Data organization and like to be able to sort quickly through my list instead of constantly questioning certain apps that I may or may not have downloaded. I think we should have the right to delete these apps at our discretion. Simply hiding the app does nothing for me.  Will we see this soon?

I agree. It should be possible to completely remove any app from the 'Purchaced' list. Especially the 'free' apps that we trie and uninstall after we discover it is not what we wanted. Now these apps remain in the list forever?

  • How do I transfer videos / music from the Purchased List

I have recently got a new iPOD Touch 64GB and by all accounts it seems pretty good.
However, I have purchased a couple of things from iTunes (a movie and a TV show) and I cannot seem to get them transferred (if that is the correct word of course) from the "Puchased" list in iTunes to the "Video" selection.
Without transferring them, this will mean that although I've purchased these items, in order to watch them, I'll need to be connected to a WiFi location - which defeats the purpose of purchasing!
    What am I doing wrong?
    Thanks.

Vorksholk is right. Plug in your iPod to your computer, open iTunes, and select it on the left-hand side. You will see several different tabs on the top (music, tv shows, apps, etc...). Select "tv shows" or "movies" and you'll see your purchases there with checkboxes to their left. Check them and then click apply at the very bottom. Oh, you should also open the TV shows or Movies playlists on iTunes, and check if your purchases are there. If not, drag them in.

  • Delete songs from the purchased list

Is there any way to delete songs from the purchased library list?

I no longer like the song, so I would like to get rid of it. If I was tired of a CD, I would get rid of it. It seems like I should be able to do the same thing with the purchased list.

  • I bought an app and now it's gone from my purchased list. What do I do to get it back?

I bought CHAOS RINGS Ω for iPad awhile back and I was able to download it to my iTunes but now it is not even my Purchased List.

Cook, this is the community forum. For problems with iTunes orders, you need to contact their Customer Support, either from iTunes, or from the receipt email.

  • Can't access YouTube from my update lists. It shows updated but won't let me open app

HHi,I can't access YouTube or Google+ from my updated apps.
it shows that they are updated, but I am unable to open the app. Also, they have disappeared from my home screen

Usually I could just swipe my finger across the screen and the "delete" option would pop up...instead it starts the show/movie and then gives me the error message.  I have tried restarting, I have even tried syncing to my computer.  Even though I don't have the computer set to sync any tv shows or movies, those items are still there.  I'm noticing the same thing with Podcasts in the separate podcast app and in my itunes app under podcasts.  There are several there that I have deleted from my itunes and they still show up on the iphone.

  • HT204266 How do I remove an app from my purchased list?

The purchased list of my apps shows all the apps I have ever purchased and I would like to remove some if not all of them excluding the ones I still use... How might I go about doing so?

    Hello Olykamoly,
You can only hide your purchases.
Follow the instructions on this page : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4928
    Hope this will help.

  • Ipad mini cannot delete unwanted app from the purchase list

Ipad mini cannot delete unwanted app from the puchase list . too many app there

You can't permanently delete any items from your purchase history, but you should be able to hide them via your computer's iTunes : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919 - if your iPad is on iOS 7, then after hiding them on your computer you may need to log out of your account on your iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in for them to be hidden in the Purchased tab in the App Store app on it (the last time I hid an app I needed to do that).
