Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.

Right-click or control-click the login entry in the list. From the menu that pops up, select Change Settings for Keychain "login". In the sheet that opens, uncheck both boxes, if not already unchecked.

If the box marked Keep login keychain unlocked is not checked, check it.

Keychain Access ▹ Keychain First Aid
from the menu bar and repair the keychain. Quit Keychain Access. -
When my contacts use to send me picture messages they use to automatically download or if not when I hit download they downloaded,but lately they won't download. How can I fix this? I have a samsung galaxy legend.

I have a ipad mini and i have had it for less then a year, it says that i have perfect wifi up in the left corner where the wifi is always at but when ever i go into the built in safari it says that it is unable to connect with the server. How can i fix this because with out it connecting to the server or internet it is kind of useless to me. I do have ios7 if that helps
The wifi symbol only indicates the presence/signal strength of wifi. Not that you are connected.
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app
• Tap on Wi-Fi
• Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

why are some of the songs on the play list I am trying to burn to a CD "grayed out" when I start burning the CD and there for not included in the finished CD? How can I fix this problem. Btw, I have been using iTunes for years and this problem just came up quite recently. Thanks

When I start Photoshop Elements within Aperture 3, my image is flattened. How can I correct this?
Just installed Aperture 3 last week.
1) I imported all my images from iPhoto.
2) I downloaded a plug-in for Aperture, "Burn to Disc" and it seems to work well.
When I start Photoshop Elements 9 within Aperture 3, my very large file is flattened and of course all layers are gone.
How can I open my PSD files in Aperture 3 complete with layers?

I used to be able to open new tabs in a window, I am no longer able to do so. How can I fix this?

When I open certain emails, nothing appears except the headers. Yet when I reply to the message, all the text appears. I have made sure that the setting are correct for these accounts. If I open my email in IE 9, everything appears. Is there a way to fix this? IE is my last choice for browsers.

I was with the computer in a place without internett and then I went on the internett (mistake, i do it because its like a impuls to press the internett butten), and then when I came home fast dial was like '' this is embarrassing. We cant open up the tabs you have been using before you lost the internett'' or something like that, and that have happened before, but then i clicked the go back to fast dial, but this time I did not do that. How can I get back fast dial?

Using Thunderbird 31.4.0 on Win7 Professional with full Admin rights. It seems that all jpeg files larger than 50 KB (or maybe even smaller) are automatically altered from their original resolution of 300 dpi (or higher) to 72 dpi, both outgoing as well as incoming. I have tried unchecking and checking the "Display Attachments Inline" checkbox in the View menu but this does not change the behavior.
In the Config Editor, the setting 'browser.enable_automatic_image_resizing' is set to False. In addition, the setting 'image.high_quality_downscaling.enabled' is also set to False. Please help!
Thank you!Yes, fortunately, I am a Windows user, but I don't want to start a religious war here And it is also possible to run multiple versions of Adobe products simultaneously under Windows - why shouldn't that be possible? Currently I have CS3 and CS4 and somtimes use CS3 when CS4 is just too buggy to get the job done. Before that I had CS and CS2 on the same machine.
But I wouldn't keep all versions back to PS 6.0 or CS, that would be a bit too chaotic and I'd had to spend days of installing if I get a new computer. I expect those programs to be a little bit backwards-compatible, so I don't have to use many different versions. And for Photoshop, this is mostly the case. It's just very tiny details like Smart Object resizing that seems to work differently.
Otherwise I'm really happy that in CS4 I can finally link Masks to smart objects and apply warp and perspective on them, that's a big plus! -
I'm using my iPhone for listenting to lectures on iTunes U. When I download lectures to my laptop, they are sometimes arranged non-sequentially. I can fix this by renaming the files (e.g., with numbers in the titles), and then sorting by title. However, when I transfer the audio lectures to my iPhone, they are all sorted by "release date" (and frequently the release date is the same for each lecture), and this screws up the ordering. This means that when I'm listening to the lectures, they are all out of order.
I can find no setting on the iPhone for changing the ordering of lectures in iTunes U, nor can I find a way of changing such things when the iPhone is plugged into my laptop. For example, when I connect the iPhone to the laptop, and open iTunes, I select the device (i.e., the iPhone), look at the lectures in iTunes U, and iTunes will not let me change the column that sorts the files.
Any suggestions about how to correct this problem?You can sort your library by adding a Sorting info in the File Info. Select a file in iTunes U, press cmd + i, choose Sorting Tab. For example add a Sort Name. For each file you have to put a value into that field, I did it with 01, 02, 03 .. 12. I do not know if this works if you select multiple files, but I did not try.
The next time you sync your device, your files will be in order. It' ve tested it on an iPad2.
If you ask me, there must be a better solution for that problem as the files have a track number saved in the info as well, and it is quite annoying to add the sorting order manually. -
Everythig looks fine when i charge the battery but when it goes to the Apple icon it blacks to either a black screen or a blue screen. I just want it to get fixed asap. thank you
