My mozilla password won't work, and neither will each new one i create

I have about had it with this site.
My password I created would not work. I am sure I used the correct one.
THEN, I just created a new one. That would not work -- within minutes, it asks you again to put in the password.
I must have gone through this creating about five good passwords. All compliant.
Yet, none worked. This is your system. I even tried a different browser. Something is on your end, because I can log in to other sites.
The thing is, I have answers to questions I posted and the people do nto know I cannot log in.
You really need to pay moreattention to stuff like this.

Firefox won't open and neither will Profile Manager.

I running Windows 7 Professional. So about two weeks ago I had suddenly was unable to open Firefox and since then have been trying to solve it myself to no avail. the Firefox process opens in the task-manager, however, the browser window does not appear. When trying to open Firefox again, another process opens and the same thing happens. Processes just keep opening and that's it. I have tried the Profile manager but it only opened once and I have been unable to get it to open again. Every once in a while Firefox actually opens when I launch it, but when I close it to see if it works again it does not. Firefox does open in Safe-mode with Networking with no problems consecutively. While it was in safe-mode I ran a full system scan with Nortan Antivirus and cleared about thirty threats but after the restart Firefox still won't open, only processes. I have tried deleting Mozilla from the x86 path and cleared My local and roaming Mozilla appdata, then re installed with 34.0.5. I have tried opening Firefox in safe mode but it won't open at all, only the process again.

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

My firewall has been off for ages. And I did a check with Nortan. It didn't help.
EDIT: Turns out I was just being lazy I guess. I had read this post before on another user and it didn't work for him so I didn't try it. AWD did clean a lot of stuff but didn't work, Malwarebytes however cleaned more things and suddenly Firefox opens each time I try. Not sure if it is permanent yet.

Trial won't open and neither will my account

I recently downloaded the trial for photoshop but it refuses to open. I had no probelms with the download but every time I try opening the program its tells me that I need to renew my subscription, and this is based on the adobe account of the previous laptop owner. It does give me the option to sign in to my account, but everytime I sign in it redirects me to a serial number screen. I've deleted all the previous adobe programs under the previous owner's account but that did not help at all, it still tells me the same thing. I am obviously missing something here. Any help would be much appreciated.

This won't work. You cannot have a trial and the same product serialized at the same time. Even flushing out the activation data as explained here won't help, as the encrypted activation keys are stil lstored on your system. Sorry, but short of reinstalling your operating system wit ha full format of the drive there is no realistic way that this will ever work.

Hi Mofomon,
If you want to use the new/updated AppleID and password, you need to sign out of the App Store, sign out of iTunes, etc. and then sign back on with the new ID and password.
To sign out of the App Store on your iPad, go to Settings>iTunes & App Store, then click on your old AppleID, click on View Account, and sign in with your old password that goes with that ID. Then click on Sign Out. Once you have the old ID signed out, you can sign back on with the new ID and Password.
New purchases will be done with that ID, but if you actually set up a totally separate brand new ID from your old one (as opposed to simply changing it) then any past purchases will still be linked to that old ID, and will require the old password for updating.
If you simply changed your existing AppleID, then the new password will be what is needed for updating.

My Itunes hasn't been able to open for months, the first time it happened was about the time my Internet explorer stopped working for no reason and my msn messenger won't connect either. Could these be linked I have a had a few I.T. keen people look at it with no solution... I have tried removing and reinstalling Itunes and msn Messenger but nothing has worked. When I click on it, it just won't open... any ideas?

some preliminary questions aimed at narrowing in on
possible culprits.
(1) do you have Norton Internet Security 2005
installed on the PC?
(2) try launching your QuickTime. does it:
(a) launch perfectly fine?
(b) fail to launch with an error message? (if so,
what does it say?)
(c) exhibit other peculiar behavior? (if so, could
you describe it for us?)
(3) reboot the PC. bring up your Task Manager, and
click on the "Processes" tab. now try to launch
itunes again.
does an "itunes.exe" process appear in the Processes
tab? if so, does it persist in there or does it
disappear after a few seconds?

My voicemails won't play and neither will my music

I can't get my voicemails to play - all it does where the play button is is having a spinning circle - a couple times a popup as come up and said unable to connect. Also, my music (from itunes downloaded to my phone) hasn't play for a month since I got the phone. I have the 4s - got it brand new when it came out. I am so frustrated! Does anyone have any answers? PLEASSSEEE!!

well I was always using the visual mail I guess it's called - where you go to phone then voicemail and tap the one you want to play - I ended up just calling myself and entering my password and it played my voicemails for me - then when I went back to the visual one - they were working again - not sure what happened. Since we tried to upgrade Firefox, it keeps saying reboot computer, but it still won't work and it will not let me uninstall.

We tried to upgrade to Firefox 4.0.1, but now all that pops up is a screen that says "your computer needs to reboot to complete an upgrade" but even after reboot, it still pops up everytime I try to open Firefox. It will not let me uninstall either. Firefox will not open at all.

- Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.
If you can't log into Settings>iTunes and App stores with your new ID them mean there is a problem. Try restting the password and try to sign in again.

Old name and password won't work when networking to new Win7PC.

I have a name/password problem when trying to network a new Win 7 PC via a new Netgear 2200 Router to a MacMini.
It networked 100% OK with the old XP System and old Netgear Router, but now when I click on the PC icon that shows up in Workgroup the old password doesn't work and there is a different popup menu that won't allow the old name and password.
Interestingly the Mac Mini still networks with the XP laptop using the old pupup box with name and password.
Netgear say it's not their problem - even though they list 'mac compatible' on their box.
The PC manufacturer (Acer) say Mac issues are outside of their free technical support.
Apple support said the Macmini was 'out of warranty'.
So I'm stuck using a USB stick or email to transfer files from one to the other!
Please help, I need that network connectivity back asap.

If you've enabled root logins, log in as root and promote the other user to an admin.
Option 2
Recover your entire system from the last Time Machine snapshot taken before the damage was done, if you know when that was. Afterwards you can restore any data that has changed since then from a later snapshot. If you’re an advanced user familiar with the shell, there may be a quicker fix, but I prefer not to get into that.
Option 3
Back up all data, then boot in single-user mode (command-S at startup.) When the text stops scrolling, follow the prompts to make the boot volume writable. Then enter the following command very carefully:
rm -i /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
You should get the following line of output below what you entered:
remove /var/db/.AppleSetupDone?
If you do, then enter
y
and press return. Then type
reboot
Press return again. The system will boot into the Setup Assistant, as if you were setting it up for the first time. Skip the prompt to transfer information. Create a user with the same name as the old admin user. Log in and test. You may need to recreate your other user accounts, if any. Their files won't be deleted.

If you're not comfortable with any of the above options, get someone more experienced to help you. One way to do that is to make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store. It's a free service.

There is no password to Thunderbird. The password you need is to the email account. Contact the email provider for password reset.
