My music doesn't show up under my Touch. HELP!
When I connect my brand new 64g iTouch to my laptop (Dell Inspiron Windows XP) it shows up in iTunes but it doesn't list the music, videos, playlists, etc.
BUT-----
If I want to copy a song that is already on my library, when I click on it and drag it to my Touch, the menu magically appears, but as soon as I let go of the button, poof, it's gone! Everything is on my Touch. But I need to delete some tunes from my Touch, but I can't because I can't see the darn library!
Oh-and I also get this strange message that syncing can't be done because dataclass services can't get info from syncing services. What the heck is that? Meanwhile, it says in the upper window that it's syncing and updating and my Touch says "sync in progress".
Also, I do have the 9.0 version of iTunes.

Offline music doesn't show up under artists...
I just made some playlists available offline, however the artists from those playlsits don't show up under the artists section of the app. Artists from 'my music' are visible, but not the ones from the offline playlists. Is this how it's supposed to work?

I want to set up my iphone to sync with my macbook but when I plug it in via USB my iphone doesn't show up under devices in itunes even though it is plugged in correctly and is charging through my computer. How do I get it to show up? I've tried restarting my computer.

I just purchased a new computer that runs windows 8 and it doesn't want to recognize the time capsule as an external hard drive (ie doesn't show up under my compter). I've downloaded and run airport utility, but it seems to have a hard time finding the time capsule...maybe one out of 10 times it will find it.
What's more, when I look under network infrastructure under the control panel, it shows my Broadcom ADSL centurylink Router...so I'm wondering if my modem/router combo is overriding the router function on my timecapsule and the time capsule is not being used as a router...

Win8 is still problematic. Try using ethernet instead of wireless. I think the drivers are poor still and it is well worth having a try via ethernet if you haven't already.
Otherwise you will need to wait for apple to release bonjour for windows 8 and airport utility.. which is not out yet.
Also make sure the windows is set to home, not work or public.. even turn off the firewall.
Open windows explorer and type the TC ip address into the address bar.. (none of which is perhaps the same.. I gave away windows at vista.. shudder)

InDesign - newly installed panel doesn't show up under extensions
Installed Adobe Exchange panel for Indesign CS6, searched for SuperOverlay creator, installed it with no errors, restarted InDesign but the panel menu item doesn't show up under Window > Extensions. Am I doing this correctly? I've reinstalled the extension a number of times and restarted InDesign many times with no success.
Any help is much appreciated.

Yes, it has been showing up in My Stuff on the AE panel the whole time. I opened my Extension Manager and uninstalled the SuperOverlay Creator, went back to InDesign, installed the panel again, restarted InDesign, still no dice under Window > Extensions.

when plugged to a pc my iphone shows that it has music on it, when its not plugged to my pc my music doesn't show up. why is that?
There is a difference between your phone SOFTWARE being up to date and your phone being SYNCED. Plug it into your computer and sync it. This should put everything on your phone.

I am using quickoffice pro on my ipod. I want to bring files from my mac to my ipod using file sharing on itunes. I read to select officepro under apps then select from there but though office pro shows as an app I have, it doesn't show up on the apps under file sharing. How do I get it there?

Updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5 and SOME of my music doesn't show up.
So I updated my phone when iOS 5 came out and I've dealt with the problem since then but I've grown tired of it. When I updated it, all my music stayed on my phone but some of the music didn't show up. I looked a little further into it and the two albums in question ONLY show up in the Music list, not in the Artist>Albums>Songs, Ablums>Songs, Genres>Artist>Albums>Songs, or anywhere else. If I want to listen to any of these songs, I have to find the songs in the Music list or search my phone for them. Here is the catch, I can play them and look at them just fine in my phone's library when my phone is connnected to iTunes. I've tried to alter the album titles, the artist names, the anything to get them to show up, but alas I can not figure out what is wrong with them. Getting to this part, another album will not, it simply will not, change its atist name. It seems like it will always and forver be titled as 'The Red Hot Chili Peppers', it does not change to Red Hot Chili Peppers. In my phone's library on iTunes though it shows up as Red Hot Chili Peppers.
For all three of these albums, I have tried to delete the entire album from the phone and put them back on and the same problem happens.
All the solutions that I have found so far are simply dealing with the whole library being deleted after updating and that is not whats happening here.
I guess this bothers me so much because I am very anal about how things should show up in my music and how I want to look at things.
tl;dr: New iOS5 on iPhone 4, three albums are giving me grief. Tried everything to get them to show up right, nothings works. Help.

Installed pixel bender but it doesn't show up under filter
I am running CS5 Standard 64 bit Windows 7 Professional and downloaded and ran "pixelbenderplugin_p2_64bit_090910.mxp" that appeared to end successfully however; pixel bender doesn't show in the filters drop down list. I could not see how I directed the plugin in CS5 edit preferences. Any suggestions on how to proceed?
Thanks............RalphDuuuh. I finally figured it out. I had to right click on the Cs5 Extension Manager and not the executable file which was what I was doing. Right clicked the Extension Manager and selected run in administrator mode and it ran successfully. Started CS5 and the pixel bender filter was there.
Thanks you all so much and I am sorry to have caused you to waste so much time. If you don't mind and know the answer, why when I get this same message when installing other plugins just responding continue allows it to work fine.

My Ipod Touch Gen 5 will not show up in Itunes but it shows up under "My Computer" help!
I have a new Ipod touch gen 5. It shows up under my computer but not under devices in the side bar like it should with Itunes 11. I'm running the latest firmware for my new Itouch and the latest Itunes. I hope I don't have to uninstall my itunes as I have ALOT of music on it. I dont wanna lose it all. I'm running windows 8 and followed the tutorial to a "T" to try to fix the problem but nothing worked. I did everything except the last step. First I had to Clear My Sync Data, then Yes I Already Have a Sync Account [enter User, Password] and only then the Key appeared in its proper field. Went to the 2nd computer and wrote down the Key after I Already Have a Sync Account. The bottleneck was to enter into Mozilla server after resetting pass and user, and then, clear data.

Hello! I run Live Person Online Chat on my Mac. I recently downloaded the updates that my computer asked me to, and now the icon doesn't show up in my dock, and the only way to see the program is to hit the F3 key (sorry, don't know my mac terminology very well as I am new to Mac!). Can any help me get the icon back in my dock and and there when I use my Command/tab through my open programs (it doesn't show there either!). Thank you to anyone that can help!

We have a lot of music in iTunes on the Mac, most of which is from CDs we own. We synced to new iPad 2 and it shows they all went in, but can't get any of the music to show. the "music" button says nothing is there. the "Itunes" button only takes us to the store.
First of all - songs do go to the Music app for playing on the iPad - not iTunes. Look in the Music app. If it's not there - this may help ....
When you sync the iPad with iTunes - you have to select the music to sync within the Music Tab of iTunes. the Sync Music Heading must be checked and the albums, artists, playlists, etc must be selected as well in order to sync.
