My music has disappeared how to get it back - in simple lasnguage?

My Itunes has lost all my music except a couple of albums. How do I get it back - I have seen the link about selecting and copying the previous libraries - but I am missing something - can it be explained a bit easier?

Green loops disappear--how to get them back without reloading LExpress?

I just got the new macbook pro with Logic express pre-installed. As I'm doing the tutorial, everything is going just as the tutorial says it should. Then, when I go to open the next loop, logic asks me if I want to change something. I don't know what it was asking me to do! And the tutorial didn't mention anything about that, so when it asked me for my password to do so, I just pressed cancel. After that, all the green loops disappeared! I don't know how to get them back and I'm really frustrated! the tutorial wants me, for example, to go to elec piano and all drums, but they are greyed out and i can't click on them. Then, I started right clicking those buttons to see if I can get them to open, and I pressed other buttons and it changed the buttons. (ex: right click All Drums>genre, Instrument, descriptors. When I chose one of those, the all drums button disappeared and now I have a different button there. How do I get the green loops back and make the loops tab the way it originally was???? WHAT DID I DO?!?! A previous poster said he fixed it by uninstalling Logic, and reinstalling it but I don't want to do that.

I am sure this is a bug and you have to report this to Apple ASAP. Describe what you did exactly. This is the second time I see a LE9 user having such a problem. And it is a very annoying tendency, if you ask me.
There is no other way apparently to have this fixed than to re-install Logic Express.

Mail Reminders Notes - Note disappeared, how to get it back?

Booted up my machine this morning and looked for one of my notes in Mail that I use extensively for daily notes. I have added info to it in the past couple of days that I wanted to retrieve. I can't find the note. I performed a search in Mail and can't find it anywhere. I created the note in the Mail application. If it has been deleted inadvertently can I get it back? I did not perform a delete on it. It was there yesterday. I do have a .Mac account and a iPhone. Yesterday I downloaded the latest iPhone software. Related? Has anyone else had problems with notes going missing? I have emails in trash from the past month, but no deleted note. I had some important info in that note. Maybe notes is not the best place to keep important stuff? I do have a backup using time machine, but it is from last week. Any suggestions on anyway to try to get that note back or why it might have gone missing? What happens to notes when they are "deleted"?

Yes I sympathize...I had about 20 to do reminders that vapourized...can't find them by going back in time machine. HELP PLEASE!

This old klondike I was using so often stopped working. When I connected to iThunes and I synchronized... it removed all the games I had (the basic ones).

Contacts disappeared--how to get them back from iCloud?

All of my contacts disappeared from my iPhone 4S--doesn't seem to be in response to a particular thing I did, they were just gone one day. I logged on to iCloud from my computer, and they are still listed there, but I couldn't see a way to get them back onto my phone. Can someone help?

Please note you must have had previously turned sync on for your contacts in order for them to be on the icloud server.

Sign in with your apple id and password and see if they are there.
if they are not there they are lost. however if you had a previous apple device like an iPhone or ipad etc. they may be on those devices.

I recently got an Iphone 4 and itreid to sync it to my itunes account, i follow all the istructions given to turn on Itunes Match but once it was turned on, i lost the majority of my music, i don't know what has happened or how to fix this and get all of my music back?

Mailto has disappeared, how to add it back in the application list?

I have no mailto application in Firefox so I am unable to use the send link function. How can mailto be added back in so that I can choose a default mail application?

Hmmm, well that is the root of the problem. I use Yahoo Mail and I tried using Outlook with it and when it was not configuring correctly and backing up mail in the outboxI uninstalled Outlook and that's when mailto disappeared from Firefox. I just want to send from Yahoo Mail but I don't seem to be able to do that.

App Store Disappeared, how to get it back?

The story: I've had an iPhone 3G since February 2009. The computer I synched it to was an old but functional iBook g4. Alas, the G4's hard drive died without backup in late July (silly of me but there it is). So I bought a shiny new MacBook Pro 13" at the beginning of August. Hooked phone to MBP but didn't allow synch just yet. 1st downloaded all my purchased iphone apps to the MBP , then finally synched iPhone to it, doing a backup in the process. It was a lengthy process, a couple hours while I slept. Upgraded to 3.01 at same time.
Now I had all my apps, preserved all my contacts and calendar etc. I had a feeling of safety and accomplishment followed quickly by growing unease BECAUSE: The app store icon is missing. Gone. Nada. Zilch. Can't find it with the search tool. Just ain't there. When trying to invoke app store from another application (PandoraBox), Safari pops up instead, and it tries to go to http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/yaddayaddayadda.... and I get an error message: "Cannot Open Page: Safari cannot open the page because too many redirects occurred."
Tried another reset and restore, still not there. Flipped through all pages, in regular mode and shakey-move-around mode. gone gone gone.
So many variables, hard to be sure what caused it, but more important want it back. Any and all suggestions welcome. Reset without backup and restore? Scream and shout? Hire a witch doctor? help please?

I saw those settings, might have set it thinking "I don't want my kids trying to download new apps when I let them play games on my phone," which is an unnecessary worry since they don't have my rather complex iTunes/App Store password anyway...

You can only sync with one computer/iTunes library. If you sync with another iTunes library/computer the media from the iPod will be deleted and replaced with the media on the second computer.
If you want to change syncing computers then:

You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:

You'll need to switch off iTunes Match on the device & sync the iPod with iTunes as hopefully you've kept all your music on your PC.

You don't have iTunes (per se) on the iPad. There is a Music app which is an orange icon. Native apps cannot be deleted, but in the event that it has somehow disappeard you could go to Settings > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout.

...if you're running Mountain Lion. I'm in clamshell mode right now, so I don't have any mirroring options. AFAIK, there's no more "Show displays in menu bar" in Mountain Lion.

Sounds like the music you had on your phone was not the same music on his computer. The iPhone/iPod touch is not designed to be a storage device. When you sync with a computer that doesn't have your music, it deletes your music from your phone.
Was this music you purchased from iTunes? if so, and you are in the US, tap on itunes app, tap updates, tap purchased and tap on the cloud icon to get each song back. If you're not int he us, get iOS5 update later this week and do the same.
But you need to move your itunes library to his computer. Create a user account on his macbook pro for you. From your external drive backup, load your itunes library on it. Then sync as usual! (Don't tell me you don't have a backup for your computer!)
