I have had the same problem.  Nice to see I'm not alone.  I have no idea what to do.  I've reinstalled, restarted, everything.  Have you come up with anything since you posted this?

you can connect the iPhone to your mac and import those iPhone photos and videos to iPhoto assuming you have iPhoto. You can create a folder and export all those photos to the Finder. Keep safe somewhere.  Also keep the iPhoto library for safe keeping. When you restore your iPhone you can sync all those photos back to the iPhone. so you will lose nothing. Just remember when you export from iPhoto select jpeg for photos and original for videos taken with the iPhone.

An exclamation mark means that it doesn't know where you moved the music to.  To fix this, click on the exclamation point and when it asks you to browse to the location where you moved it to, use the normal commands to go up and down folders in your external drive until you find the song.  Repeat as necessary.

  • My music will not sync to my iPhone from iTunes. Why does it say I need more space?

My iPhone and iTunes are all synced up to date as of June 7th. I went to sync my music library. I checked to only sync my selected songs (approximately 1200). It worked fine earlier this week before I updated iTunes. I went to add another 10-20 songs today, and it didn't work. It said I need an additional 4.77 GB of data. I have 2 GB available still on my 16 GB phone, which is more than enough for the 10-20 songs. I updated iTunes after this occurred but I still have the same problem. When I check my music on my phone, no playlists show up but y music and artists are the same as before, minus the new music i added to my iTunes. On a side note, the extra space it's saying I need is about the size of the current music on my phone; it seems to be asking to sync it twice?

    Hey there 2Chainz,
It sounds like youre being prompted that there is not enough space. I would use the following article to help resolve the issue named:
iOS: "Not enough free space" alert when trying to sync
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1503
Try disconnecting and reconnecting your device, then syncing again to solve this issue.
Orphaned files may remain on your iOS device if it is physically disconnected while syncing music, podcasts, videos, or photos. This can prevent iTunes from syncing the iOS device on subsequent sync sessions. When this happens, the Capacity indicator in iTunes may report a large amount of "Other" disk usage for the iOS device. To resolve this issue:
Turn off the music or photo sync option in iTunes for the device.
Click Apply to sync the changes to the device.
Turn the music and photo sync options for the device on again.
Click Apply again to try to sync the device to iTunes.
If the 'Not enough free space' alert appears, continue to step 5.
Turn off the automatic syncing functions for the iOS device. To do this:
Select the iOS device from the iTunes window and click the Summary tab.
Deselect "Automatically sync when this device is connected" and select the "Sync only checked songs and videos" checkbox.
Click Apply to sync the changes to the device.
Reduce the amount of data that is being synced to the device and resync the device. For example, if syncing your Music library exceeds the memory capacity of the device, choose "Selected playlists" to transfer rather than "All songs and playlists" under the Music tab in iTunes.
If the 'Not enough free space' alert appears, continue to step 6.
    Restore using iTunes.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

  • A lot of my music is not syncing to my iPhone 4S!

Ever since iTunes 11 came out, I've had nothing but problems, especially syncing my iPad 2 and iPhone 4S. This post is for the iPhone 4S not syncing all my music. There are playlists on my iPhone with songs grayed out, and they don't play back. Why don't these songs download from iTunes 11? Same thing with a bunch of playlists; the songs are all grayed out. Also, no ringtones; they're all gone!. This is intolerable. I hope someone can help me.

As far as I know, Apple never said that Numbers 2.1 is iCloud aware.
As written in other threads, be patient and wait for Apple announcement.

  • New music will not sync to my iPhone 4, and music that was previously synced but was added to library through a CD will not play and has a red square and is grayed out.

I use iTunes on my family iMac, my iTunes, I believe, one update below the current software any my iPhone is on iOS 7.0.3. Music purchased through iTunes syncs correctly and will play properly. Songs that I have obtained through CD's, however, are now grayed out and have a red square with a circle around it. When I click on the song, it will cycle through my library until it can play a song. iTunes will also not restore songs that I have removed from my iPhone but are in the cloud. Is there any possible way to fix this issue? Everything has been working fine until iOS 7 and the new version of iTunes. Thank you for your time!

I am so relieved to hear that I am not the only one experiencing this! However, I am sorry to hear you are going through this as well. Lucky for me I am upgrading to a 5s which will be sent to me on Wednesday. I did stumble upon an article with tips on how to downgrade back to iOS 7, but I am EXTREMELY apprehensive about doing that myself. Here's the article link if you want to give it a go:

  • My music does not sync with my iPhone

I just recently bought my first iDevice and i cant sync all of the music i previously had. I added a test video and a song to my library (Options > Add to Library), connected my device (iPhone 4) and selected Sync with iPhone but i cant see any of the media on the iPhone itself, tough it is on iTunes. Thanks

    Hello,
Have you look at this page, I think that you have not select any music.
    Setting up syncing
Before setting up syncing, download and install the latest version of iTunes. Wi-Fi syncing requires iTunes 10.5 or later and iOS 5 or later. You can change your sync options at any time. Each time you sync, content is synced between your iOS device and computer to reflect new, updated, or deleted content. If the iOS device does not appear in the Devices section or if you are unable to sync, please see this article for troubleshooting.

  • My music will not sync to my iphone

I wanted to add an MP4 file to my phone, I've done this last week with no problem, this week once I added it and sync'd my phone over 700 of my songs disappeared and I cannot get them back on my phone, I even reset my phone from an earlier date and it still won't add them, they are on the screen showing sync all songs, the color bar at the bottom moves to show them on there but once I press sync they won't add to my phone.  Can anyone help me with this please and thanks!

    iDevices are not backup devices.

  • Sync Music will not sync voice memos.  Why?

When I check "include voice memos" in Sync Music, and sync music, Voice Memos do not move into iTunes.
Memo is 33 minutes but that does not really seem, to me, to be an issue.  A search does not find it nor is there a Voice Memo Folder created in iTunes
    Ideas?  Solutions?
    Thanks

I didn't start this thread, but have the same question. I recently updated my iTunes and tried to sync and backup my iPhone so I can update to iOS7. Only, my music is not syncing from my iPhone to iTunes. Some of this music I have had for a couple of years and no longer have the CD for (I have teenagers...CDs damaged or missing). Out of 104 songs, only 3 are showing up. Any ideas?

  • My iTunes content will not sync to my iPhone 4 even though it shows that it is syncing, content is not on the phone.

My iTunes content (music) will not sync to my iPhone 4. It shows as syncing on my computer (windows) but does not show up on the phone.

Hey there @Robalina Welcome to the community!
I have a guide that I will post below for you, that should help you connect your printer and Zeen to your wireless network. Follow the steps and you should be wireless in no time!
If your printer and Zeen are connected to your network, the issue could be the web browser you are using to connect to the sites you wish to visit. You can also try using a different web browser.

  • ITunes says my iPhone 4 is updated, but I've got the old Bluetooth version and haven't got the new menues? Music that i've loaded to iTunes directly is not synced to the iPhone either, but the other way it syncs...

iTunes says that my iPhone is updated, and I've done all the updates, but I've still got an old Bluetooth version and not the new menues. If I download music to iTunes directly that music does not transfer to the iPhone when I sync it to iTunes, but music from the iPhone is copied to iTunes... Any one else who has experienced this and/or have a solution? I'm having big problems with using bluetooth handsfree and I've heard that got better with the new bluetoothversion.
    /Linda

Thank you for your answer, but no, I've got 7 GB free space...

  • Purchased music in iTunes but not sync'd to iPhone music player

I can log into iTunes, view all my music including purchased music in iTunes, but the music is not sync'd to my iPhone. All other sync'd applications including MS Calendar, Comcast mail account, pictues, etc worked just fine. Why is the music sync feature not working with my new phone??

In order to sync music or videos to our iphone, it has to exist in your Library and not just under the itunes store. If the music does not show up in the library section, click on store at the top of itunes and check for purchases.
If it comes back with a message that all purchases are downloaded, you will need to log into your itunes store account and go to purchase history to report a problem with the particular items purchased.
To log into your itunes store account and view purchase history:
Open the iTunes store and click on your email address in the upper right corner.
Enter your password and choose view account in the window that pops up.
When your account opens you will see a button to view purchase history.
In purchase history you can report a problem for any item purchased.

De-sync all your music to remove it from the device. Then reset your device: hold down the home button along with the power button until you see the Apple, then let go. Now try re-syncing your music.
