My music keeps pausing for a a second...why?
Hi wondered if anyone can help. When I try and play music in my itunes library it regularly jumps for a second and pauses for a second and then continues playing for a few minutes until the next jump! Any advice would be hugely appreciated.
Thanks
Rob
Try checking the activity monitor. Its a utility you are provided as a part of OSX. If you have multiple applications running, it could eat up your RAM which will cause itunes to pause for second. See how much processor memory or RAM is being used the next time it happens. It should lead you in the right direction.

When my iPhone 4s plays music it pauses for about 4 seconds then plays
I don't know what to do. I have only had my iPhone for about 2-3 months and suddenly this happens. It really annoys me when I am playing music on my headphones or out loud because it sounds like its broken. If there is a problem am I ensured by apple.
Hello sound_freak,
Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing when connecting your iPod to your your Wadia 170i dock. I recommend reviewing the article below to further isolate and troubleshoot an issue like this (you can skip any steps you have already taken):

Music keeps pausing for no reason...
Hi all,
My iPod Shuffle is acting really strangely. Whenever I start listening to a track, after about 30 seconds, it just pauses. No reason, no touching of any button... it just stops.
I press play again and it picks up from where I left off.
I've just restored the device and re-synced, but it's still happening. Do you think the device itself is messed up and I'll need a new one? Don't really know what else to do.I've been experiencing the same problem, and I am using third party speakers.
Is this a known problem? -
My Radio on my Nano won't pick up a signal.. I cennected my headphones and am in the middle of the city, so there are plenty of stations to find. Also my iPod keeps pausing every like 30 seconds when I try to listen to my music. I just got it for Christmas and already loaded it with songs.. What do I do?
Push the headphone jack all the way in, you don't have it fully plugged in yet.

Why does ipad keep asking for icloud every second?
why does ipad keep asking for icloud every second?
Hey there mcsafranek,
It sounds like you are getting prompted for your iCloud password very frequently. I would sign out of your iCloud account in Settings first:
On your iOS device’s Home screen, go to Settings > iCloud, then at the bottom of the screen, tap Delete Account.
From: iCloud: Change iCloud feature settings
http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2613
Then close all the running apps on the device:
iOS: Force an app to close
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5137
When you have done that and restart the phone, sign back into iCloud, and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
If the issue persists could you relay what exactly the message says when it pops up?
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
All the best,

Music pauses for 2-3 seconds then restarts by itself after upgrading to iTunes 11.1.1
It will play 3-4 songs without a flaw and then will start randomly pausing the song for 3-5 seconds and then starting again only to pause again in another 10-15 seconds. Any suggestions on what may be causing this?
Hi,
after the import of the 11.1.1.4 project, can you try "Build --> Clean All" ? Also, does this reproduce on 11.1.2.3 (the recent 11g R2 build) as this is the build a bug would need to be filed for if it turns out to be a migration problem

Hello,
I'm having trouble with mpd. About every thirty seconds it will pauses for a second them resume playing from where it paused. It's annoying and makes music unenjoyable. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?
I appreciate any help. Please let me know if you need any additional information.

Why does "Find Text" pause for a few seconds?
I've got a VI with about 250 subVIs, and when I search them for any text, the search zooms through them all except it pauses on a particular one. The names don't matter, so I'll just use letters; alphabetical order of VIs seems to matter....
So the search is zooming through all the VIs and it pauses for 3 seconds on
sss.vi
I think maybe if I open sss.vi, the search will speed up since sss.vi is more likely to be in memory. With sss.vi open, the search pauses 3 seconds on
rrr.vi
What? So maybe the VI after sss.vi is causing the problem, so I open
ttt.vi
but the search still pauses on rrr.vi. So I open rrr.vi. Now the search pauses on
qqq.vi.
I could continue opening VIs going upstream in the alphabet, but then I'd probably have all my VIs open. I'd rather find the root cause of the pause and fix it.
Any ideas? Here's my setup, and the slowdown happens on all four computers I've tried:
OS: Windows Vista or Windows 7
LabVIEW version: 2011
Opened within project: no
What's inside the VIs: The most "unusual things" are a formula node or two, a few global variables, and the "System Exec.vi" to make command line calls. -
TV picture Pauses for a split second
Every 30 seconds or so my TV pictiure pauses for a very brief 1/2 second. Anyone seeing this?
I contacted a rep as well and they said a fix will be sent out the 15th of this month. She stated that she could send out a fix but it only works 50% of the time and from the other 50% the DVR will not reboot sometimes. So I'm dealing with it until this fix supposidly comes out on the 15th of March. I switched from DirecTV about 3 weeks ago because I was tired of the interuptions do to the slightest bit of rain and I have had the freezing problem with Verizon since the first day.

IPod keeps pausing for no reason
My iPod keeps pausing during a song for no apparent reason. is this related to my earphones? They are plugged in. Perhaps the headphone jack?
this is one of two problems:
1) your headphones are causing the ipods headphone jack to think that the headphones are out, therefore pausing.
2)there is a defective part in your ipod's headphone jack.
i would try using somebody elses earphones for a while to see if it is your earphones that are causing the problem. -
Songs pausing for a few seconds when using speaker docking system
Got a Logitech AudioStation speaker docking system. Every 3 or 4 songs played seems to pause for up to 5 seconds then continues playing normally. The pause icon doesn't appear on the ipod, just the play icon. The countdown timer pauses though. Also skipping songs with remote control a problem. Sometimes skips two with one press. Also takes a few seconds to 'think' between songs. ipod also defaults to shuffle album every time it's docked. Anyone else experienced these problems? Is it docking system or ipod?

160gb iPod Classic will pause for 3-5 seconds during playback
Hello. I heard from a few people that they are having similar issues to this. Whenever I listen to my ipod for more than 20-25 mins, it will stop playing during a song for about 3-5 seconds, then it will resume playback. I've tried power cycling it, restoring it, the whole 9 yards, but nothing works.
I am considering bringing it back to the apple store now. I remember back in the good old days before the iphone came out and there were barely any people buying apple products that their customer service was spectacular. Now I heard they are pretty anal about replacements. I know that they like to see the error occurring before they can do anything about it as far as a replacement goes.
Does anyone have similar issues with their ipods? Anyone get a replacement from Apple? I will greatly appreciate the help guys. Thanks again.I have a similar issue; mine only happens every so often, but has occurred even when i'm not touching the ipod.
Mine, however, will stop playing for 3-5 seconds just like yours, but if I touch the iPod, it will resume playback. This makes me think that it's connection error, but the thing doesn't pause - the play icon at the upper-RH corner of the screen is still there.
I thought it might be software related until I touched it and it resumed playback. I also ran the battery down/restored it, but it did it once again.
I bought the AppleCare plan for it, so I'll just have to take it down to the local Apple store and see if they can do anything about it.
Does anybody think this could be anything other than a hardware issue? -
K8N Neo pauses for 30s on reboot - why?
I have K8N Neo MB with Windows XP SP1 installed.
I have the 1.42 bios.
When I reboot my machine, after the initial boot stuff (BIOS, etc), I get a black screen for 30 - 40 seconds and then I see the Windows XP screen followed by the login prompt.
What's it doing for 30 - 40 seconds (black screen). I don't see any HD activity so it's not loading or saving any data.
Any ideas?Yea, you can download bootable DOS image files.
http://www.drd.dyndns.org/howto/cdboot.html
Try that for a 2.88mb bootable CD.
You can also burn other things on the CD as well such as Norton Ghost or whatever.
It's sort of funny in our day and age that DOS is still needed in some cases - hehe. -
Why does my ipod nano keep pausing about 10's seconds into a song
when my ipod nano 8Gb is plugged into my computer works fine. but when i unplug it it plays for abt 10=20 seconds and then it pauses..very annoying. anyone know how to fix before i throw it against a wall?
Your nano is pausing playback when the screen goes dark (Either when it goes dark on its own or when you click the sleep/wake button). The reason for this is that it is not detecting your headset. You may be able to hear music, but the headset jack is not inserted enough for the nano to detect that it is there (or something is blocking the connection). Here are your three options:
Insert the headset jack harder. Most folks find that this solves their problem. If you can see ANY of the silver of the plug when it is inserted, it is NOT fully inserted. You should feel and hear a click" when it is fully inserted.
Clean out the crud in the headset port. If you have tried #1 and it just won't insert all the way, it is likely that you have crud in your headset jack. Shine a light in there. The entire inside of the jack is white, so if it looks dark down at the bottom, there is probably crud down there. You can try blowing it out or using canned air. Just understand that shoving anything else in there to clean it out will be taking your warranty into your own hands! However, I have cleaned mine out using whatever was handy and small enough to fit in there and so far so good. Your results may vary!
Take it to the Apple store. If you have really tried with 1 and 2 and it is still happening, then there might just be something up with your headset port or your headset jack. If it is the headset jack, you can look closely at that and be pretty sure if that is the problem. Try another headset to make sure. If you have worked all the way through to this point and it is still happening, it is time to take it to the Apple store.

My ipod touch's music keeps pausing
The music just randomly pauses
- If yo are using the headset with the remote, sweat and moisture can actuate the iPod controls.
Otherewise, try the standared fixes:
- Reset:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Retore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod.

How to deploy a single class to the web portal?
EDIT: I've been able to create the deployment file. I found an older copy of NWDS and the old project folders are working perfectly again. I'll cross that bridge with the new version another time. Firstly, sorry if this post is in the wrong section .

Hi Experts, Do you know if we are able to specify the GP or cost value on the lines of an invoice imported by DTW? For example, we will import an invoice with 2 lines, the cost of the items on the system is 0 but I want to import a GP of 30 for item
