My music store turns to japanese language

how can i change/reset my music store to english language,
it turns into japanese language. anyone can help me to solve this problem

yeah ... that is tricky.
i just checked on my version of itunes. "Edit > preferences" is right at the bottom of the second menu (counting from the left).
the "General" tab is the left-most tab in the preferences.
the "change language" box is down the bottom and in the middle of that tab.
English (United States) is the fifth option in that box (counting from the top). select that option, click OK (the leftmost of the two buttons in the bottom right corner).
restart itunes. are you back seeing English?

Will the store accept a Japanese language version of an iBook that is also in the store in English? Each with its own ISBN?

I have never heard of anyone having a problem with that.  But note that Japanese books must be in epub3 format and thus cannot be produced by iBooks Author, in case that was your plan.

  • How can I turn off other languages on my ipad running ios7?  It has Japanese or Chinese and the international keyboard is set to English.  Thank you.

How can I turn off other languages on my ipad the next generation running ios7?  I have the international language set to English but it's showing a foreign language and sometimes it shows the foreign language with English.  Thank you.

The complete backup and restore procedure is explained in the link above.
If you don't want to do a restore, then your iPad may remain in the unstable state you have for the moment.
You can change the country in the App Store. Have a look at the bottom of the App Store screen, you can change the country and also do the permanent change via Manage > Account.
You can change the language in iTunes via General Preferences > under General tab.

  • How do i get my itunes music store to appear in English, not Japanese

The music store part of itunes is in Japanese, the rest of itunes is in English. I have tried everything I can think of to get it into English. Help please!

Zevoneer's idea is good, if it doesn't work, try rebuilding your itunes preferences file...this has worked for some folks.
The steps below assume you know what your iTunes > Edit Preferences settings are.
Stop the iTunes program and go have a look in Win Explorer
    C:\Documents and Settings\{username}\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iTunes.pref
    Rename that file to iTunes.pref.old.
That way you can get your old prefs back, if you want.
Now try to start iTunes again, and it will ask some questions as it tries to rebuild the preferences file.
Just hit Next and Cancel, don't really answer those questions in other words.

  • Language change in music store?

Hi all.....I am english and live in Austria. iTunes insists on displaying the store info in German. I can't find any option to change the language to english....any help?
    Thanks

OK, serves me right for not searching first. In iTunes 9.0 select the music store, then in the main window scroll to the bottom and on the right you will see a button with your countries flag. Click, and select a different flag to change the language.

  • Can't get rid of the japanese itunes music store !

It's the japanese version of it that pops up from my itunes when I want to get to music store. I live in Australia and would like to be able to download some music from the Aussie music store. Can't be that hard !! I tried downloading a new version of itunes from Australia hoping it would help, but it didn't... What do I do?? Does the fact that I bought the Ipod in Honk-Kong have anything to do with it??

Maybe, on the Hong Kong ipod...I have no way of really knowing, though.
Can you change your music store at the bottom of the iTMS home page? Way at the bottom, next to the Japanese flag....change to Australia.

  • Turn Off Music Store

How do I stop iTunes from trying to access the Music Store?
When I turned it on, it said I could turn it back off, but cannot find how.
    Aggravating Internet network problem...
    iMac   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

    Thanks. I can't find that.
I did find this, though. I don't think it is the exactly right way to do it, but at first blush it seems to have worked:
'Disabling Podcasts, Radio, Music Store, or Shared Music
If you have administrator access to your computer, you can disable access to Podcasts, Radio, Music Store, or Shared Music in the Source list using the Parental Control pane of iTunes Preferences.
You can also use the Parental pane to hide these items in the Source list and not require a password to see them again.
    1.
Choose iTunes > Preferences and click the Parental button.
    2.
If necessary, click the lock and type your administrator password.
    3.
Select an item to disable it. For example, if you select Disable Podcasts, the Podcasts item won't appear in the Source list.
    4.
If you want to require a user to enter an administrator password to reenable the items you disabled (or make any other changes in the Parental Control pane) click the lock.
Note: You must be using Mac OS X v10.3 or later to be able to password-protect disabling these items. If you're using Mac OS X v10.2.8, you can hide the items, but a password is not needed to show them again.
You can also use the Parental pane of iTunes Preferences to restrict access to explicit content in the iTunes Music Store.
If you disable podcasts, you won't be able to subscribe to podcasts in the iTunes Music Store.
Make sure you protect your password. Anyone who knows an administrator password for your computer can change parental control settings.'

  • Turn off music store on library window

I just installed iTunes 6.02 and noticed a new feature. When I go to my Library, half of the window is now occupied by the Music Store. If I move the cursor over the line between the two sections, there is no resize option (as there is between the Source area). I want to see only my Library and not the Music Store. Is there a way that I can turn off the Music Store on this window? I find this invasion of my Library highly annoying.

Yeah, at first I thought it was just shameless advertising, but it's actually just there to show you links to other music by whatever you are listening to on iTunes. If it can't find something similar to whatever you are listening to, it shows up as the top 5 downloaded songs and a couple links to the music store.
Not completely annoying, but it's a slight step in the wrong direction in my opinion. It just seems a little bit too forceful. I don't mind some advertising, but this was on the verge of overstepping the Apple law of not intruding upon the user experience or annoying the user with ads or anything else equally vexing.
I remember watching one of my college teachers demo a classical music CD for us in music class using the RealPlayer. The only thing I could think of was how annoying all the goofy advertisements and animation was. It was too busy and overwhelming. It would have killed any inclination to use it, had I never found the Mac.

  • ITunes opens in a Japanese version of the Music Store

How can I get back to the American version?

    Open the Music store.
Scroll down to the very bottom of the screen and select the country you want.

  • Language issues with iTunes Music Store

Why is it that, occassionally, when I open iTunes, all the Music Store stuff is in German (at least that what it looks like)?
I've figured out how to get it back to English by logging out and then logging back in, but how does it change when I'm not changing it and I have everything set to English?

You don't even have to log out. Simply scroll to the bottom of the main store window, there will be a small flag icon with a drop down arrow, click on the arrow, & select the US store.

  • Music Store Canada loads in French only- getting p-o'd!!!

I've loaded and reloaded i-tunes. The account is in English, all of my preferences are seemingly set to English. But when I open the music store it consistently opens to Canada but in French. Please, someone tell me what I need to do before I... you get the point. Just really annoyed, I hate being forced into a language, would like the choice. Besides, they don't have the same music available and that *****.

I have a similar problem. As I am in Japan, my Music Store always appears in Japanese characters even though the itunes language setting is set for American English. If I change the country setting in the Music Store to the US or Canada it automatically resets the currency as well as the language. Also, I've heard that there is a problem with purchasing music outside of one's territory.
I considered going to the C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunes.Resources folder and deleting the Japanese language file, but many of my song titles are in Japanese. My fear is that these and titles in the store would then appear as garbled code.
Will deleting the language file only affect the tabs in the store, or the contents (album titles, etc.) as well? If necessary Japanese characters (like the yen symbol) disappeared, there'd be a bunch of page format problems, too.
    What do you think?

  • Why am I seeing Japan's Music store?

I just downloaded the latest itunes update and now I am in Japans Music store! What happened to my music store? Everything is Japanese!

    Daniel Cupo,
As I understand it when you open the iTunes Store, you are getting the wrong language on the page.
Could you click on your username in the upper right hand corner, and logout, and then log back in?
Once you have logged back in, if it isn't corrected, go down to the bottom of the iTunes Store page. There is a drop down for which countries store you are viewing. Select the U.S. Store.
    Thank you,
    Nathan C.

  • Itunes english version of Music Store

I would like to learn how I can change my music store.
I am using a Japanese version Windows XP, and I downloaded the english version of itunes, it installed in English, with English Menus. But the music store keeps connecting to the Japanese Music store. I can't view English Podcast directories or videos or songs. How could I change those internal settings for the directories, so I can browse through them in English.

The language of the Music store depends on the local language of that store: e.g. The German store will always be in German, the French store in French ... regardless of the language selection of iTunes itself.
You have to switch to an iTMS in Englisch like the U.S. or UK store
Select Music Store in left column
In the iTMS main windows scroll down to the very botton
There is a dropdown with a flag in a blob: use zhat dropdown to switch to another country.
