My music will not play on my pc, why?
Everytime I try to play my music on Spotify, it tells me my sound card isnt working? And when I put a CD into my PC it will play the song for 3 seconds with no sound and then skip to the next song.

Have Ipod Touch 2nd Gen. 64 gig. I noticed that my music will not play alphabetically anymore. Don't know exactly when this occured. My music will not play on my iPhone 5. It has the upgrade as well as my iTunes on my macbook. But the music will not sync to my iPhone and all music is in my library. What do I need to do?
An exclamation mark means that it doesn't know where you moved the music to. To fix this, click on the exclamation point and when it asks you to browse to the location where you moved it to, use the normal commands to go up and down folders in your external drive until you find the song. Repeat as necessary.

please help, someone that doesn't have the savay on moving music from an old pc to a new pc. Music will not play message comes up and have to search. also purchased music from iPhone and does not show on my music library on PC. This is very frustrating. Thank you
It all depends on exactly how you move the library from one machine to the other. The database holding information about your library is normally in a folder called iTunes, with the media in a subfolder called iTunes Media. In this layout you can usually copy the entire iTunes folder from one machine to the other and it will work. If the media folder is split to a new location however then often the links to tracks will fail on a new computer.
You shoud find that the FindTracks script is able to repair the links in your library.
I'm not sure I know what is going on with the purchased music, however if you enable Edit > Preferences > Store > Automatic Downloads > Music you should be able to recover your past store purchases.

It happens when you download from two or more different Apple IDs often. It says you must waut 90 days before you can play it without wifi. So in 90 days, try to download again.

Music will not play during a slideshow launched from Flickr. After choosing music and starting slideshow, the screen says "loading" and it never stops. Under the computers section it says, turn on home sharing in iTunes on the computer with the music library. It is on but apple tv wont recognize it. I've signed out and signed back in over and over and home sharing is on but music wont play. Is this a bug with flickr? Music will play when i launch a slideshow from the iPad but it doesnt have as many cool options for slideshows as flickr does. I want the flickr slideshow to play with music!!! Grrrrrrrr!!!!! Can anyone help???
ok, major miracle. it is now working. here is how i fixed it, and it was a stroke of luck to even find this. opened iTunes, went to edit, then to preferences. box pops up, went to the sharing icon and clicked share my local library on my local network. then scrolled down and checked all the boxes that were applicable. for the heck of it i went through all the other headings to see what else might be hiding from me. i never thought this would do anything but went to ATV, selected flickr, chose some music and wa-la....its playing. also, under the computers heading, it still does not show my iTunes library but clearly its there someplace. oh well, it works...i'm happy! your reply inspired me to keep working so thank you for that!

Music will not play, podcasts will. When I press play on a song or playlist it goes straight to pause & will not play. I have reset it but no luck. Any thoughts??

Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears?

My music will not play on my iphone 4. It has the play symbol at the top right corner of my iphone but it is not showing the time elasped of the song and you can not hear anything. The volume is turned up and it is not on vibrate. the ringer works and the speaker and microphone works fine. any ideas why my music will not play?? Thanks for any help!
If you plug in headphones can you hear the music?
Try cleaning the dock connector and the headphone jack, does this make a difference? -
My music will not play after it gets to a certain volume. It works fine if i turn it up loudly however when i turn it down past a point it will not work and the music wont play.
If in settings, music, volume limit is off then restart your phone first. Hold the home and off button down until the apple symbol comes up.

Try resetting the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons until the Apple Logo appears on the screen. Ignore the red slider if it shows up. You will lose no data.
