My music won't unsync from iPhone

I've tried to delete a lot of music from my iPhone (because my storage was running out). I can't seem to remove all my Music from my iPhone. When I go to Settings > General > Usage > Manage Storage, every time I click on "Music" it crashes out of the Settings and returns to the home page.

Have you tried closing the Settings app via the phone's multitasking bar and seeing if you can delete your music when you re-open the app ? Double-click the home button to open the taskbar, and then swipe or drag the Settings app's screen from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.
If that doesn't fix it then you could try a soft-reset (i.e. a reboot) : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear.

my music won't download to iPhone from icloud

I'm having the same problem. I have checked the status and it says the location of the song is in iCloud. When I click on the cloud next to the song, not thing happens. It's been like that for 3 days. It does say it's "waiting"
Also, when I manually add album art, nothing happens. Still shows the generic iTunes icon.

  • My music won't sync from computer to ipod

My music( 234 songs, no videos or movies) won't sync from my computer to my ipod. This is really annoying and I had 42 songs on my ipod, knew I was missong 90 or so songs, synved it and checked my ipod...19 songs. I was so annoyed. It is not about space because the songs take up 1.18 gb and I have 1.71 gb left. Please help because I am getting to that stage where it is not about games but songs.!

Do you have any Restrictions set that would prevent sysncing those songs? Settings>General>Restrictions
    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Unsync all music and resync
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

  • New Photos Won't import from iPhone into iPhoto

i have photos i can see on my iPhone 4
but when I plug into USB on my MacBook Pro it
    is not importing
    please help

I am experiencing exactly the same problem, my iPhoto used to detect my iPhone and proceed to the automatic transfer of new photos, and now it doesn't anymore.
I've done quite a bit of research on this issue, but I can't seem to have any luck in fixing it...
Here's some fixes that I found on other sites that you could try:
    1. Reset the iPhone and your Mac.
    2. Check (from memory) if you have any pictures in your camera roll that weren't taken with your iPhone camera (this includes screenshots, photos downloaded from the web, email, etc.), this may be the cause of the problem and it's what makes iPhoto not recognize the phone as a camera anymore.
As for my problem, I've tried everything: resetting the phone, resetting my MacBook Pro, first deleting all photos that might be causing the problem, now I've deleted ALL my photos, and my Mac still won't detect my iPhone as a camera.
iTunes can see it just fine, and I can sync with it perfectly, but I can't sync it with iPhoto for the life of me...
If anyone could help, that would be perfect...

  • Transfer Music Ratings and Playlists from iPhone 5c to Macbook Air iTunes

    Hi,
My iPhone 5c used to sync with my old Windows laptop via iTunes and both devices held all music information on them such as iTunes rating, playlist information and the selected songs to be synced (there are more songs on my iTunes on my laptop than my iPhone).   All of these songs are also saved on an external hard drive.  None were purchased through iTunes.
When my old Windows laptop died, it died abruptly so I did not have chance to consolidate the iTunes media folder.  I have now bought a new MacBook Air to replace my old Windows laptop.
When I plug in my iPhone 5c to my new MacBook Air, when iTunes offers to sync it advises all information on my iPhone will be lost.
Is it possible to transfer the ratings and playlists from my iPhone to iTunes on my MacBook Air, at least for the corresponding songs that exist on my iPhone?  Note I have the original songs on an external hard drive so the song files themselves do not have to copy across.  All the files in the iPhone exist in the external hard drive.

Below are the steps about how to transfer playlist from iphone to itunes:
Step 1: To create a playlist on your iPhone or other iOS device, open the Music app and then tap on Playlists at the bottom left of the screen. Once there, tap on Add Playlist… at the top of the screen. Here you will be prompted to name your new playlist. Enter a name and then tap on Save.
Step 2: Each song will have a blue “plus” sign to its right. Tap on the sign next to each song to add it to your new playlist. When you finish choosing songs, tap on Done at the top right of the screen to finish creating your playlist.
Step 3: Connect your iPhone to your Mac or PC either via a cable or wirelessly and click on it from the menu on the left pane.
Step 4: From the tabs at the top of the iTunes Window, check the Sync Music option and also check the Selected playlists, artists, albums and genres. Then select the playlist you just created from the list below. To start syncing, click on the Apply button.
Step 5: Syncing will then start and after it is complete, you will see that the playlist you just created on your iPhone is now also on iTunes under Playlists on the left pane of the iTunes window. Or vyou can use iPhone Transfer.

  • Voice Memo Won't Sync from iPhone

    Ugh!
I've been syncing voice memos from iPhone to iTunes for more than a year with no problems. Now this morning I can't sync the latest one I made last night.
    I've:
    -- Restarted my iMac
    -- Tried File>Sync
Nothing works. The file I need just sits on my phone unable to move to iTunes so I can do something with it.
I thought Apple things "just worked?"
    Any ideas?
    Thanks.

The following steps worked for me:
    - Disconnect your iPhone from your computer.
    - Quit iTunes
    - Relaunch iTunes
    - Select "Oragainize Library..." from the File/Library menu
    - Check the "Consolidate Files" option and hit OK
    - Quit iTunes
    - Relaunch iTunes
    - Plug in your iPhone and sync
    - Your new voice memos should now be in iTunes.

  • How do I put my music in the cloud from iphone

how do I put my music in the cloud from iphone

You can't upload your own music (e.g. copied from CDs) to the cloud on your phone, you can only do that via your computer's iTunes (and if you've subscribed to iTunes Match).
For iTunes store purchases you can delete it from the Music app (e.g. by swiping/dragging from right-to-left across it in the app), but whether it will then show in the cloud for redownloading depends upon what country that you are in, if it's still in the store, and if you've moved countries since buying it. If you've subscribed to iTunes Match and it's been matched, it should show in the cloud.

  • Music won't download from itunes to iphone

    Hiya,
I have purchased music from Itunes App on my iPhone (4S with iOS7 update) and now it won't download to my music without being connected to the computer.  There are no restrictions to my data usage, iCloud is correctly signed in.  I have no trouble downloading other apps or books; only music.  Can anyone help me fix it please? (Obviously I could just plug my phone into the computer and do it that way but I'd like to be able to download without doing so)
    Thanks in advance,

I suspect this is the reason you can not download any more music from the cloud.
Don't you have backups of your personal data you can restore from?

  • Music won't download from iCloud to iTunes or iPhone

So, I recently downloaded the new iTunes. And then I realized I have two copies of the same song (one I bought and one was ripped from a CD). I decided to delete one copy. However this deleted all the music from that artist (over  one hundred songs, most ripped from CDs). Luckily, at the time, I had iTunes match. I tried to re-download all of my music. Only some of it began to load. I waited for all of that to download, and tried to get the rest. Again, only some of it worked. Now my iTunes match subscription has expired (I have no desire to renew it), some of my music is still missing, and none of it will start to load, but I still have the option to try to download the missing music from iCloud.
Most of the music that did download was music I bought from iTunes, but not all of it. I'm not sure if that's the problem, and I should just bust out my CD copies again or what, but I'd really like to know how I can get the rest of my music. I'd prefer the iCloud versions because then my play count won't be messed up and I organize my playlists by number of plays (so newest music is always first).

  • My music won't sync from my iTunes Library to my iPhone 5s

So my new iPhone 5s wasn't functioning and I needed to get a replacement. I forgot that I hadn't synced the phone to my computer since my old 4S, as  I had collected much more music since then. Whenever I try to sync it, it says it is going through the syncing steps at the top, but only takes a few seconds, and then nothing has changed on my phone. Why I apply the changes in order to put the music on the phone, the bar at the bottom (which shows how much data is left and what data that is) that signifies music and gets larger and shows the correct amount of memory it should take up on my phone. After the supposed "syncing", the memory bar goes away.
There is plenty of room for the music to be put on, probably 20 GB or so... Please help, I'd really appreciate it.
    Thanks,
    Jack

    Hi rhiannon5SOS,
You may need to enable manual mode for your device in iTunes as detailed in the article linked below.
